Nothing Cajan or Luau at all. It’s typical Chinese buffet type food. Over cooked & way too much sweet sauce. Their General Chicken had no spice at all. I’m full, but so not satisfied.

I like meat or fish, so I decided to try the teriyaki and shrimp. Generous portion of shrimp, cooked well and tasty, perfect for leftovers. I find it better than Sarku, for what you pay you get more than expected.

They offer a great variety of dishes, spicy, sweet, savory. Beef, pork, chicken dishes abound. The cuisine is not all Cajun nor all Hawaiian, so the name is kind of funky but it does not reflect what their dishes are…
It is like a fast food Chinese with some other choices like Cajun chicken. salads, veggies, etc… I had the Cajun Chicken and it was not too spicy (I wished it would had been), and a few pieces tasted a bit undercooked, which for chicken, is not a good thing… Not my first choice of fast food at the Providence Place Mall, but not bad, compared to other options.

So — they have the right idea — place a polite staff member just outside the «ORDER HERE» sign, offering tasty tidbits on toothpicks. Offer it and they will come.
My niece and I were at the right place at the right time. After several hours of 14 oz. shopping bag curls and fitting room follies, both of us were beyond famished. Those tantalizing tibits of General Tso’s chicken sure hit the spot!
So, C. ordered a stir fry dish cooked to order and Cal bowed to the General. Each meal included a generous helping of fresh green beans and the ubiquitous fried rice. I must note that the main dish ingredients were extremely generous… tasty…and we would likely return… When I get over my parking garage angst! Oyyy…

Disgusting!
First of there is absolutely nothing Cajun or Hawaiian about this place. It seems like your traditional horrible mall Chinese food with canned corn and green beans as side dishes. I ordered a chicken stir-fry and before I could reconsider there were too many people behind me to back out. Wish I would have. It was horrible. Please never ever go here. A chain of fast food like taco bell of popeyes is much better.
