If there was a negative rating, I would use it. Here are my following reasons: 1^st, they picture cuban cigars in their picture advertisements but yet refused to answer my question of whether or not they sold these in their shop. 2^nd wanting to try someplace new for my 27 anniversary, I called and spoke with a Maddie/​Maddy or however her name is spelled. I was told that even though there was a singer preforming that we could just come on in and enjoy a cigar. I informed her that my wife and I would be there in 10 minutes. 15 minutes later we arrived to an empty lounge, with about 5 people and the owner. We were told to come back in 30 minutes but were also told that the cigar lounge was fully booked ad reserved but that he may be able to sit us somewhere. I told him i spoke with this Maddie/​Maddy and was told that she’s downstairs and that we can smoke hookah. I came for a cigar NOT hookah! The doormen/​valet didn’t even bother to open the doors for us. I wont be giving these guys another chance and will spread the word to my fellow cigar smokers to avoid it at all cost! Save yourself some time and visit the Ale House Cigar Bar instead!!!

If you’re passing by, there’s no question your head will turn in awe. LED lighting outside the building makes it both inviting and eye catching. This establishment is very visually appealing and modern. It’s evident that thought was put into the decór. Beautiful layered molding on the ceiling and side panels with added LEDs is jaw dropping. High leather seats at the bar gives an elegant upscale feel, and the mosaic of Mona Lisa is a nice aesthetic touch.
The bottom level provides an intimate dining experience perfect for a romantic date or a night out to eat. In contrast, the cigar bar upstairs is very lively with great louder music and a more upbeat setting.
In all honesty, I wish the second floor wasn’t a cigar lounge. Leaving it as a hookah bar would have been better, as I don’t like sitting in cigar smoke. This was the main turn off and what couldn’t bring me to give it a 4-​star rating. Besides that, the service was good as were the drinks.

One star is based solely on price. Went in for drinks and a cigar after dinner: 4 drinks and 2 Rocky Patel Decades= $ 108. Outrageous!!! $ 30 each for what should be at most a $ 12 cigar.
Bartender was nice and attentive. Cool looking place, but I feel like I was robbed when I paid the bill.
Chance are slim that I would come back here next time I am in Providence.

The very best food, hookah and atmosphere. If you have experienced anything other than this it was a fluke. Give it another shot.

Service and atmosphere amazing but the food? The food? Horrid. I could not believe it! I took my 11 year old son who picked this place as we are walkin on federal hill. My son could not eat his buffalo chicken burger because it flat bread to big and couldn’t cut into it, the calamari and Cesar salad no flavor what so ever. Joanna our waitress made it worth our while making my son his favorite Shirley temple but was upset he couldn’t eat and enjoy his meal

Get dressed up and come here with your girlfriends/​boyfriend it’s super classy and modern. It’s quiet too. Love this place.

Overpriced! RIPIFF! Ordered shrimp scampi over pasta and it had no flavor and looked like a half order of food… not acceptable for the price. After dinner we went upstairs where my friends wanted drinks and hookah. They charged us $ 300 minimum to sit down, order drinks and hookah AFTER we just spent $ 280 downstairs!!! Sorry I would never come here again. Service was crappy, food was mediocre and way over priced. PLENTY OF RESTAURANTS ON THE STRIP TO GO TO. SPEND LESS $$ WITH BETTER SERVICE and not get ripped off.

The place is very modern and clean. Food was great. Lobster raviolis has huge chunks of lobster. Caters to the young federal hill crowd but the techo music blaring at 6pm is not my scene. The waitresses although offered wonderful service dressed like strippers and not the good kind. Davinici’s redeeming quality is the hookah.

Very nice atmosphere, server was very professional and entres were superb. The patio is wonderful and the heaters are a thoughtful idea.

Great atmosphere, too bad DJ only plays same generic crap you could hear on the radio.

I rarely write poor reviews and I waited a while to rate this place but I truly was so unimpressed. Went here because I had a Living Social coupon for an app, 2 entrees, and dessert. We went on a Monday so that could be why the experience was not what we expected. Initially you realize how beautiful the place was and the windows were open which provided a nice feel as if you were outside. Things started to get a little confusing as we were the only ones in the restaurant for a while but then others started coming in and migrating to the bar area. The bar became really roudy and just very different than what I thought they wanted to bring in. I feel like this restaurant is trying to be upscale and their prices are quite high but the clientele they are bringing in is quite the opposite. Again this may be because it was a Monday night, but no one was dressed in anything more than sweatpants and tank tops.
So the food was good, got the calamari and the meals were good, I don’t believe they are worth the price but because we had the coupon it made it worth it. So we enjoyed our time until it came to the bill. The waitress didn’t understand the coupon which was fine, she got the manager, the manager did the bill twice, both times it was wrong. She was really confused, she just wasn’t understanding what the Living Social coupon was (it explains it right on the printout) so I spent about 10 minutes with her explaining how this worked and why people bought it and what it included, etc. Now I didn’t think a lot about it but I had emailed them the week before telling them I was going to use it that Monday so you would have thought that whoever emailed me back would have told the manager on if they didn’t know.
I assumed maybe this was just a one time offer as I had bought it a while back and that is why she didn’t know but I looked on Living Social and they are still offering this deal. So why after having this for months did no one explain it to the staff?
I was comparing this restaurant to others in Federal Hill, they go for a classy, upscale vibe, expensive but delicious food and I go to these places as a nice date night but I will stick to the other wonderful restaurants in the area. We wanted to go upstairs after for drinks and cigars but ended up not going and just going to Tammany Hall and spent our money there.

literally the only place I frequent on The Hill. Davinchi is classic, new, trendy and traditional all in one. That is a hard attribute to accomplish especially being in such a renown location. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The inside is beautiful, great job on the décor guys! The drinks leave nothing to desire, the bathrooms are always clean, and the music is always spot on. It is a split level bar, so you have the option to sit downstairs, wine and dine in a calm aspect, with huge open windows and a very beautiful bar. Or you can go upstairs to the cigar lounge where its equally classy/​beautiful, but you have the option to smoke hookah and chill. One of my favorite places in Providence. I admit, by the time I usually enter this location, ive already eaten so I havent tried the food, but I heard it was great. Hopefully i’ll get to write a review on the chow soon.
If you’re into strong drinks, try the Stoli Doli, its soooo goood!
if you’re daring, order the pineapples on the side.

An amazing evening was tainted due to carelessness, inconsideration, thievery and pure greed.
A few weekends ago, we came here to celebrate with friends and enjoy some cocktails, delicious food and conversation, which all turned out great and dandy until a few days later when my sister took a look at her cc statement.
She was charged over $ 700 and was super confused, because after all, we were in Rhode Island, not the Château Marmont, St. Tropez or shopping at Saks where spending that much is acceptable.
I mean, we didn’t order that many drinks and apps so she needed to get to the bottom of this foolishness and find out who screwed up. Lo and behold, she was told that the waitress couldn’t find who originally opened the tab from the large party so she chose my sister’s card to charge.
Really though? What is this a game of eeny, meeny, miny, moe and you just decide to charge a card and not mention it to the person or even ask them to rectify the situation or sign for these charges? Clearly my sister’s intelligence was insulted, but then again, the waitress didn’t give a shit and was super careless and inconsiderate. I’m guessing management gave her the green light to do this.
Fast forward to a few days later, the manager Romeo said that he would refund the money but first my sis needed to track down the person who’s party it was… which she didn’t even know the person so now it’s turned into a Where’s Waldo mission.
It was a large party and we were guests of guests.
Romeo first said that he had all cc info on file, then a few days later claimed that they don’t keep cc info on file. So which is it Romeo? Or is Juliet hiding it somewhere in Caesar’s Palace?
This is some serious New York City slickster shit that this restaurant was trying to pull. Yes the food was good, but damn, for all the extra chaos we could’ve just went to TGI Friday’s.
Days later it’s turned into a game of hide and seek as she is still waiting for an update from the restaurant on refunding her. The complete and utter nerve!

The food is amazing, the setting is beautiful! It has an upstairs and downstairs also they have hookah. The service is also great everyone is really nice and polite. It’s a great place to have your birthday dinner and hang out after. everything on there menu is fantastic! I highly recommend it !

Finally, we found Adam!
Adam alone was the reason for a 5-​star rating for Nara. As usual, he prepared the best hookah for us. Servers were nice and helpful. They had a live music night when we visited but it wasn’t that bad. I thoroughly enjoyed the food and hookah & will be back for more.

Despite the mildly obnoxious ad on the radio claiming davincis to be «‘bringing class to federal hill «this place is pretty chill. I say obnoxious because I already feel the hill is classy already but this is a great place to have a drink and feel like a high roller. We were welcomed warmly by the bouncer at the door and greeted by Bianca at the bar. This girl is a gem! Friendly. Knowledgable. Made a drink recommendation and kept it
Full. This place is really classy. Beautiful décor. Beautiful people working there. If I was trying to impress a date id bring them there. We did not eat but the food being brought out looked pretty amazing. I had a strawberry jalapeño margarita. You wouldn’t think that would taste good but it was. Drinks are around 12 – 15 $ but it’s a pretty big glass with top shelf liqour and well worth it. I think once people start finding out about this place its going to get really busy. Good drinks and good service I’ll be back to try the food sometime.

Atmosphere is very nice. It is clear that attention went into the design and construction of this establishment. The following construction features make it feel upscale and comfortable, Tray ceilings with crown molding and LED lighting, bar underlighting, custom front picture windows, inlaid flooring, and front of bar tiling. The only poor choice in décor is the cheap purse hooks under the bar.
The Valets were professional, courteous, and made me feel comfortable lacing my car with them.
The hostess was present, attentive, and courteous, even though we sat at the bar.
The bartenders were attentive, friendly, funny, and made a good drink. I had a dirty grey goose martini with Gorgonzola stuffed olives, the bartender made it quickly, made it well and even offered me the dirty rocks on the side. This made me happy.
The Caprese salad was excellent. Fresh mozzarella with fresh crisp tomatoes. I ate all of it.
Next I had the antipasto plate. A huge piece of fresh mozzarella and an assortment of cold cuts. This was however, a little disappointing. The plate came covered in pickled carrots and cauliflower, which took up most of the plate, and which I do not like, and which the menu doesn’t mention. The menu also says «meats and cheeses». It only came with one cheese, the fresh mozzarella, which tasted excellent but was too large, where were the rest of the «cheeses»? The cold cuts were excellent in quality but quantity was disappointing. For $ 16 the plate should have more that 7 pieces of folded meat. Although, putting more meat on the plate would be difficult since it was covered in pickled carrots and cauliflower. I have devoted too much writing to this disappointing dish. This really was only a minor distraction from an overall excellent experience.
In closing, the atmosphere is superb, the staff is competent and attentive, the food was very good (excepting the antipasto), and was well worth the moderate pricing.
I will come here again. I highly recommend it…
