King Wok

I love king wok and have been a happy customer for about 12 years. The staff is very very nice and friendly. This is a small restaurant and is for mostly take out or delivery. They deliver to my house in Johnston very quickly. The food is always hot and delicious. I usually order the shrimp and garlic sauce combo. The sauce is mouthwatering the shrimp are large and plentiful, the rice is perfect and it is the regular Chinese fried rice, apposed to orange colored rice or something else and the egg rolls are perfect. I also like their crab Rangoon, lo mein and other things I’ve tried. If you spend $ 25 you get a free lomein and $ 35 a free general gaux with pick up order only. Overall I have been extremely pleased with them! And prices are very good. Not the best location but they do deliver pretty far. You can’t go wrong for good authentic Chinese food.

I like this place for the most part. Cheap, good sized portion of food. The flavors are what you would expect. I like the steamed dumplings, fried rice, boneless spare ribs, and wontons. I keep trying new things and haven’t been disappointed with the food yet. It’s probably the only place that will deliver to both my place in East Providence, AND my boyfriend’s in Providence – that we both agree on. I’ve only had delivery from them.
What they did lose a star for:
They cannot follow basic delivery instructions. They don’t come to the side door, they don’t call me before hand, and they will not bring me chopsticks.
Instead, they beep 30x to get your attention and then furiously knock on your door like they’re the police coming to raid your clearly drug-​infested home. It’s incredibly irritating. The delivery guy is nice enough, it’s just aggravating. The instructions are not that hard. Every single chinese place I’ve ever delivered from has brought chopsticks without me asking, and has called without me asking.

This place is decent. Not in the best part of town. Only had their lunch here. It was inexpensive and an okay portion size for lunch. Ordered the boneless spareribs and pork fried rice combo.
On a negative note, you can’t use a debit card here if you’re purchase is under $ 10, which is silly if you’re only ordering lunch for one person.
