Food there are great! I love them, especially the Singapore Noodles! Highly recommend this place :) people there are nice as well :)

Ordered delivery. Rice sucks, chicken taste old. When hit with the bill was very surprised they charge 2 $ for delivery. 3 $ upcharge for house fried rice with 3 pieces of shrimp. Delivery took upwards of an hour and a half.

We just ordered from here and we were extremely disappointed. The beef lo mein smells and tastes like actual cigarettes. The chicken fried rice was less than tasteless and the wonton soup smells and tastes a little bit like feet. The hot and sour soup and shrimp egg rolls were the only redeeming qualities and they were just OK.
Sad to say we won’t be ordering from here anymore.

I really like this place. I prefer the «hood» spots with the yellow signs over fancier sit down places any day and Taste of China gives me exactly what I need. The food is delicious and the price is right. I’ve picked up and had my food delivered and either option is great. As long as I live on the Hill, I’ll be a loyal customer.

I’ve ordered from here before. food OK, nothing special. tonight the person on the phone couldn’t understand my street name. tried spelling it out phonetically the person told me to hold several times confusing the whole process. I finally gave up and am looking for someplace else.

Ordered from here cause they are relatively close by. I have absolutely no complaints. I had sesame chicken, it was delicious. I also ordered crab rangoons, veggie lo mein, and beef teriyaki. Everything was delicious! The crab rangoons are a little sweet, just the way we like them. They even threw in free pork fried rice and white rice! Will definitely be ordering from them again. Keep up the good work!

I ordered from here using grub hub on a whim. The first time I ordered I got the seafood combo plate and my boyfriend got the general tso’s chicken. Delivery was faster than expected and the food was nice and hot. Everything was exactly how we ordered it. We ordered again last night: I had the shrimp and broccoli combination with veggie fried rice and a spring roll. my boyfriend got his usual chicken. The shrimp was SO fresh and tasty… not to mention HUGE! Everything came to us hot and correct, down to the very last special instruction. Im so happy to have found a really great Chinese delivery restaurant that is reasonably priced with fresh ingredients! My only complaint is that I am probably going to get fat!

If this is what China tastes like, I don’t think I ever want to go there.
I was sick and it was freezing outside, so I wanted some Chinese food delivered. I poked around on Foodler and saw that this place was rated alright and pretty close by, so I gave it a whirl.
I got a combination plate with crab rangoons, boneless spare ribs, beef teriyaki, and the house special fried rice. Crab rangoons… totally inedible. Gross. The outside was mushy and the crab filling tasted sweet instead of savory. The beef teriyaki was acceptable, but not super great. So, um… I don’t know what was «special» about this fried rice, because it was some of the worst I’d ever had. I had to pick out the chicken because it was disgusting, slimy and brown. They threw three little shrimp on top that were not actually fried into the rice so they had no flavor. The rice itself was mushy and bland.
Surprisingly, the spare ribs were pretty good. The meat was very tender and juicy, and the sauce was good. Not the best I’ve had, but totally good quality for cheap takeout.
The delivery at least came very quickly, within about 30 minutes. But the driver called my cell phone and said «Open door, I outside.» I opened the door expecting to see a person, but there’s not even a car on the road. About two minutes later a car comes around the corner, and there he is! Sweet Jesus I hate drivers that do that.
Will definitely not try this place again.

This place has gone downhill over the years. The quality of the food has become very inconsistent. They charge if you want to use a card, they charge for delivery, they charge for duck sauce now. I’m surprised they don’t charge you for parking on take out orders. The customer service is pretty bad too. The delivery guy will blow up your phone and honk the horn repeatedly in front of your house until you come out on the porch. Then he gets out of the car and brings it up. Pretty ignorant. I’m sick of this farce, so now I call Chef Ho’s. Sorry, Taste of China, you lost me.

This place is not good. Much better takeout in the area. Everything was forgetable.

Great food at a great price, the staff is always very friendly. Their tofu is pressed very well, and is some of the best i’ve ever had.
