Bravo! I just recently attended my 2nd Murder On Us show: A Deadly Christmas Carol! Let’s start off by saying — if your looking for a quiet night and small show; this is not it. The shows are larger than life with casts that truly commit! The first time I ventured out with 6 for a girls night out and the 2nd with my sister and parents. Both occasions we were all smiles and members if each group said they would return! I live in Miami and ensure I make reservations whenever I come home — it’s fun, witty & the food is great! A round of applause to John and his crew!

I really wanted this experience to be a good one… I mean a «Jersey Shore» themed murder mystery seemed as if it could only be hilarious! Boy was I SO very very wrong. First of all I should say, that this dinner Theater takes place on the upper level of Bravo restaurant and for $ 42.95 a person you get to enjoy the show while eating a 4(that’s right) course meal! What a deal… So I decided to drag my husband along with me on a Friday night. The first problem we experienced was with the valet. We were advised that the doors do not open until 7:45pm for an 8pm show and that we should use the valet because it was free. Well, now all the guests for the show arrived at 7:45 to valet their cars on an extremely busy intersection. The poor valet guys were doing sprints up and down the street to try and get everyone in by 8pm. They really should have staffed a bit better or at least open the upper bar ahead of time! We made it in just before 8 and arrived to a room of screaming loud staff members ‘playing a part’ of the production. So the story line is that its a 20 year reunion show taping and with the Jersey shore case, a producer, and stage manager. Well the manager and producer also act as restaurant hosts. They found the need to scream at the absolute top of their lungs from the moment we arrived until the end of the evening. We were sat at a family style table and I had my back to the area where most of the show would take place… it made it very difficult to see what was going on. The served the first course right away, and hastily made us order drinks. This could take all day to fully detail so I will sum it up with the following: the acting was unbearable; the writing was terrible; there was no real story line; and we ate 4 mediocre courses during the entire production. Basically you get what you pay for and you are better off just sticking to including Bravo as your dinner selection when going to the Theater elsewhere.
