Best head shop in New England. The owner, Steve, is is a great guy. I have bought many pieces from him and referred many friends. This is a high end glass shop, very beautiful pieces of work. Top of the line quality. There are affordable pieces here as well though but this is definitely no china-budget glass spot.

Was absolutely blown away when I entered this shop, it is packed with top quality glass! When I say packed I mean almost to much, the store is very tiny for how much glass is here! I needed to walk around like 20 times to take it all in, if you know your glass history or just want to learn it this is a good spot. The owner has some of the great old Pakoh, Scott Deppe, Chris Carlson and other pieces and he was very happy to tell me all about the history of the art. He also had some of the top of the line heady collabs and solo pieces artists had just released. The prices for this art may be high if you are just looking for a piece, but if you value the talent and skills required to make these amazing functional collectors items you would see they are priced pretty close to the industry standard for pieces of this caliber. I’m sure if the owner ever came off as arrogant it may have been a result of the attitude you carried because he was very welcoming, friendly and informative to me. Summary: One of the best collections of heady glass I have seen outside of LA, very passionate owner, if you love glass, you will love OPM.

Some of the most unique art I have ever seen. Great customer service that answered all my questions and helped me get an awesome piece within my budget.

Don’t get me wrong, OPM has BEAUTIFUL artisan glass, however the owner Steven is another story. He is very arrogant and not very friendly from working. Do not mention other shops/mention your opinions, he will immediately shoot down your perspective and say how you’re wrong. tl;dr — His prices are incredibly high, however if you’re looking to invest in an artisan piece and feel you can work with an arrogant person, by all means this is your place. I would recommend Give Piece A Chance and Green Side Up Gallery on Thayer instead.

OPM is like a gallery of artisan glasswork; I love coming to look but most of the stuff is out of my price range. That being said, there are plenty of chillums and bats that are more my size and budget, as well as being locally made, which I love. Even though fancy sherlocks aren’t my style, they are reasonably priced here as well. And it’s worth a stop just to see the incredible things glass artists can do to make utilitarian items unique and aesthetically pleasing. I promise something for everyone, just at a slightly higher price point. There are also big budget investment items that are worth buying here simply for the knowledge possessed by the staff. The only person I have ever seen working here is a man with a genuine smile who loves to chat about culture and politics, answer questions, and explain how things work. I never feel like I’m intruding, even if I don’t drop big bucks. I always feel welcome and connected, and that’s exactly how it should be.

Ok this place has the best selection of FINE glass work. Yes, they do sell pipes and yes you can smoke whatever you want out of them, but like most head shops, you have to maintain a legal edicate and not use words like POT, WEED etc. or they may tell you they don’t sell anything illegal and tell you to leave. That aside this is the most well put together, clean and professional glass shop in New England. Trust me. The only reason that I didn’t give this place 5 starts is due to price. Granted most of the stuff is made by actual artists that put their time and money into it, but it comes at a price.
