Bartender is not nice. The people here aren’t friendly at all. Super sexist employees that greet men nicely but not women. The beer tastes good though.

Fantastic service at the bar by Seth. Got the Ruben with sweet potato fries and a flight of beer. Beer was good, not trillium/treehouse good but leap years above generic beers and many craft locations. The Ruben was subtly flavored by excellent, nothing over powering but very good. The sweet potato fries are a must try, best that I’ve had. I definitely plan on dropping by again and recommend this place to anyone in the area. Cost $ 20 for all of this too before tip, for the service and food quality this is a steal.

Walked by three staff and waited at the bar. Took awhile before being greeted(not busy either). Bar keep was only friendly when delivering the check. Took our to-go food home after our beer. they gave a slice of fish instead of a fish sandwich. Called and the manager said she wouldn’t do anything because it «is just a couple slices of bread.» oh, and the food was gross. Seriously, a fish sandwich from somewhere fast food would have been better. One beer was pretty good and another was ok.

Good food. Kitchen was slow but that merry have been that we got there as the doors opened. If attending an event after, leave plenty of time. Service by waitstaff was very good. I would go again if in the area.

This was my first visit at Trinity Brewhouse and honestly, it was a fantastic first time experience. Maybe they got some new staff and took some Unilocalers advice and made necessary changes but this place was exactly what we needed and wanted before heading over to Trinity Rep for Oklahoma. We were seated immediately, greeted just as soon by a super sweet blonde waitress(sorry I didnt get your name). My hubs and I wanted to share something as to make it quicker and make it to the show with time to spare; but we were having trouble deciding what and we had her come back like 3 times. She checked back frequently knowing we were in a hurry. We settled on calamari to start and we split a burger with bacon, vermont chedder cheese and bbq sauce medium. The calamari came out magically fast, was crisp as can and you can tell the oil it was fried in was fresh and was accompanied by banana peppers and a delicious sauce that seemed like an spicy aioli or something like that. Before we even gobbled it up, the burger came. She brought nice sized plates for us cuz she knew we were splitting it and we consumed a perfectly prepared burger with crispy bacon and gobs of bbq sauce. DELISH!!! This burger was slammin, i want to go back with time to spare and get it all to myself next time ;) the fries were well cooked and we never went without water and the waitress’s prebussing skills were on point! I do not like sitting with dirty dishes on the table and it was like she knew! She brought our check before we were done eating returned quickly to retrieve it and we were off to our show with plenty of time to get cozy in our seats! Thank you Trinity Brewhouse! We will be back!!!

Trinity Brewhouse is pretty fun place as evident by the crowds swarming the bar. My friends and I were still able to get seated at the booth for dinner(no reservations necessary). As a brewery, they have an extensive list of beers from ales to stouts and even sell their award winning beers in jugs.(Check out the jugs on display near the entrance!) I tried their Red Devils on tap, which was a 2015 Gold Medal Winner in Rhode Island’s International Beer Festival. I’m not a beer connoisseur as I hardly drink them but this one went down smooth and reminded me of a lighter Stella Artois with some hints of fruit. I liked it a lot! Service was friendly and they have great burgers and fries as well. The décor is wooden with some pretty clever murals. Great ambience especially for a pub-feel. There is also a pool table in the basement. Because there are tables next to it, there’s no playing during dinner hours. It would be pretty cool if they were able to switch up the layout a little bit.

Went here for dinner and drinks before a show. Overall it’s pretty mediocre. We got pork nachos. The pork was delicious. The guac was bland. Our burgers were meh. I ordered a turkey burger which was clearly a frozen patty. My bun was very burnt. I tried scraping it off(see pictures). Don’t bother getting the sweet potato fries. They were limp disappointments. The upcharge for toppings is out of balance. If you want no bun and no fries +$ 2.00. Add onions? +$ 1.50. Those I was with did like the beer. Could be a good place to grab drinks and apps, but their app menu is lacking. I would not go back to this place again, not recommend to others. Go somewhere else.

I have heard so much about this place and finally got to stop by. We came for late night dinner and drinks after a work function down the street. It is walking distance from the convention center so keep your car there! We tried a few of their beers — all of which were very good. I also had their veggie burger which was SO good. Mega props to any restaurant that hand makes their own veggie burgers(thank you from every vegetarian in RI!). I love that they offer a ‘healthy option’ for your burger as well that serves it with no bun and veggies instead of fries. That being said, it costs extra to do that which I was not too thrilled about. Worth the extra money I suppose as it is almost bathing suit season… The ambiance is fun and unique with trivia downstairs too. We had a great time and stayed for a while. I’ll definitely be back again next time I’m in PVD!

Highly recommended. This place has a great selection of beers that are brewed on site. Granted I didn’t try much of the food aside from the wings, but the service was great. We sat downstairs which was kind of dark, but we went during the day so it was no issue. We’ll be sure to make another appearance when we’re in Rhode Island again.

Nothing Great I used to be a big fan 15 years ago, now whatever. I still like some of the beers that they brew especially the classic Trinity IPA. One pitcher of that beer and your ready to go. The place is usually busy especially on an event night but it just gives off this dirty feel to me. I have heard some stories. They brew decent beer and serve greasy food, not the worst combo. There are better places to go in the immediate area but I guess you could worse. Stop here a grab a pitcher before you go to an event at The Dunk. Thanks

I’ve been to Trinity a handful of times with groups of friends and it’s always a relaxed, chill time. Atmosphere– We’ve usually spent the night upstairs which is pretty open with high ceilings– I’m a fan of the setup because you can actually hear what your friends are saying over some solid beers. There are booths, tables, bar seating. Space is rarely an issue, from the times that I’ve found myself there. I’ve been downstairs for events in the past and it seemed accommodating for large groups Food/Beer– Solid selection of brews. I usually go for the Captain America. I’ve only ordered the wings and trinity nachos with pulled pork. Wings were ok– the Monday night we went(½ off), the special«secret sauce» was … smoky Buffalo sauce. Tasted like a sweeter buffalo sauce, almost like a mix of Buffalo and BBQ. Hit the spot but wasn’t anything special. Trinity nachos with pulled pork are regrettably good. It’s just a monster of a dish. More than enough for several people to share– an order comes with a huge plate of deep fried corn tortillas piled high with black beans, sour cream, cheddar, tomatoes, lettuce, salsa, and — go big. — pulled pork. Very generous portion and you’ll probably continue eating it long after you’re full. You’ve been warned. It’s regrettably good. Service– always friendly, though I’ve noticed they tend to be on the slower side.

My friend and I stopped my Trinity for dinner early Sunday night. It took about 10 minutes for him to get his soda, while my Drink was brought to the table immediately. The chili nachos we ordered as an app were ok. I ordered a burger, and it came with a ton of fries, and my friend ordered the pork belly. The pork belly had so much fat in it that my friend could hardly eat it. And, another 15 minutes to get another soda.

Fast and friendly service. Tasty and amazing homemade fries. Ordered the lobster Mac and cheese, it was rich and creamy and chuck full of lobster meat. My boyfriend had the seafood stew and loved it, seafood had wonderful flavor and was super fresh. Took off a star for dessert, only 3 options. We shared a piece of the still frozen cheesecake.

One drunken night I happen to visit Trinity while out exploring downtown Providence with family and friends. I really did not do more than just hangout and grab a couple of beers. The beer menu looked good with the different offerings of beer they had on tap. Trinity is not a place that I would write home about, but its a great place to just hang. The décor is older and dark. There is a downstairs bar with a pool table and more seating. There is a old-school charm that lies in the downstairs area. I was able to try 2 different kinds of beer during my visit. The first beer I opted for was called the«Darkness», which is a Russian Imperial Stout. It was so good! I am more of a porter and stout kind of girl, so it was right up my alley. I also tried one of their IPA’s, which was also quite good. The bitterness seemed to be right on point, with a decent IBU percentage. I would say check it out. If you are looking for a place to grab a beer and hang, then this place would be it.

No mind blowing secrets on this review. The drafts at Trinity are just lights out and by lights out I mean after a few RIIPA’s, things got slightly hazey haha I stopped in for the first time recently and true to the hype, the beers were the main draw. As mentioned, I just crawled into a pint glass of RIIPA most of the night and the wife had a few of the seasonal Gingersnaps. I’m not a big seasonal, funky flavored beer type of dude — but these were legit. Definitely want to try the Captain America and Double Black Diamond next time I stop by. The food was a mixed bag. We did the wings, sweet potato fries and nachos. The wings and fries were both meh. The nachos were surprisingly good — but that also could of been due to having those later in the night, 4 – 5IPA’s in haha Really cool vibe, actually might come back with some coworkers. The night I was in, we were pre-gaming before a P-bruins game, so you had a cool mix of people hanging loose before the game and folks just hanging around for happy hour. I’ll be back for the beers, but might look elsewhere for munchies.

I’ve only ever been to Trinity on Mondays for Wing Night, so I can’t speak to the general menu otherwise, but let me tell you, they have some delicious wings! We’ve come here many times in the last couple of years for wings and they’re consistently finger-licking good. I’d venture to say they’re the best wings I’ve ever had. Unfortunately, they seem to have raised their prices quite a bit lately(the reason for my docked stars), so it isn’t the deal that it used to be — when we moved to Providence the wings were 10 cents apiece on Mondays(ah, the good old days), then raised to 30 cents, and now it’s $ 5 for a plate of 10. But I can’t stay away, because they’re so darn good. While Trinity asks that you order another full-priced menu item along with your discounted wings, this has never been bothersome because the best option is to just get a pint of house beer. They have some reliable standards like the Kolsch, but I always go for a special or new option, which tend to be seasonal. This summer they had a strawberry beer that was out of this world. Just tonight I had a great bourbon barrel-aged one that had a great depth of flavor. At any rate, just a pint of beer with your pile of wings really hits the spot. We always order our wings«crispy,» which we find holds up the sauce well. Speaking of which, the buffalo sauce is the perfect level of spiciness. It definitely has a zing to it, but it isn’t overwhelmingly spicy. Just tonight we tried their Hoisin sauce for the first time though, and loved it! I think in the future we will get one of each. Don’t forget the bleu cheese. The space is charmingly grungy with a lot of character. Service has been prompt and friendly. Somehow the staff don’t seem to mind the inevitable saucy mess that a Wing Night causes — I appreciate their cheerfulness! Also, no matter how full we are, we always order the Stout Brownie Sundae for dessert — the best brownie sundae in Providence.

Stopped here to try the beer because it was recommended to us. My husband loved the beer he had… Unfortunately I can’t recall what it was…(sigh) I had the cider they had on tap. Was very good. Not too sweet and more like a champagne. We sat at the busy bar and looked straight into the brewing area, the place was busy and all tables full. So that’s a good sign the food might be good too. Fun and energetic and we will stop by when we’re in providence again.

We stopped in here for a cold brew while waiting for Panic! at the Disco’s line at Lupo’s to die down. It’s a homey local brewery with terrific furnishings, including a huge mural of the last supper featuring The Rat Pack and Biggie. I can only review the drinks, as we didn’t have time for food, but they were terrific. I had the Captain America, an unfiltered pale ale with a smooth finish. We also tried the Kolsch, highly drinkable, and another dark beer. All of which were standard, terrific local brews. While we were seated inside, they also featured a nice patio out front that would have been pleasant to sit at. Our waitress, who was also the hostess, was prompt and had a broad understanding of their different offerings. Overall it smelled delicious inside, it would have been nice to try some of their menu selections. Maybe next time!

Whenever I visit brewery pubs, I look for The Holy Trinity of great food, healthy competition from nearby breweries to keep raising the bar on quality, and of course tasty beer. My impressions based on the above criteria: Food — Middle of the road bar food. Can be good, I’ve never had great. It’s a nice central location to meet up for a bite though and the wings are decent. Competition — There’s plenty of places to drink in RI, but there isn’t a ton in the way of direct brewery+pub competition like there is in cities like San Diego. With the amount of breweries opening up in RI, I’m hoping this changes in the near future. Beer — I’ve had mixed experiences and have tasted off flavors in various beers here. Over the years I’ve wondered if they were working out issues with the filtration system, taps, or even just changes in staffing, etc. There’s a lack of consistency – even in the beers that I think are good representations of the particular style or between batches of beer I’ve liked here. I’ll continue to give Trinity Brewhouse more chances since they’re local but I’m probably not going to be a regular anytime soon.
