Excellent coffee, friendly service, great atmosphere and cool things to choose from. I don’t really eat donuts very often, but I heard that they have 14 varieties on a daily basis, so we stopped in there yesterday morning to try at least 2 of them. We had an apple cider donut — very cinnamon-y(this was a «cake» donut) and an orange glazed(«yeast»). Both super tasty; there were lots of others to choose from so it was hard to make a decision. Had coffee there earlier in the week and it was fabulous. The owner of the Happy Camper also owns Canteen next door. Good luck to him — I wish him much success with both businesses!

We scrambled in for another donut tasting. Today, we sampled an orange chai. Dear God, heaven! My BF and I and our dog sat on the artificial grass in tacky flimsy beach chairs and had the happiest time ever! So happy, so loving Happy Camper.

Happy Camper makes me happy. When you walk inside, it’s impossible to feel sad because you are surrounded by some of the best things on earth. Nice people, good music, pretty things, ice cream, donuts, popsicles, and of course coffee. The building is adorable and everything inside is bright and cheerful. If you’re happy and you know it go to Happy Camper. If you feel sad, go there because it will probably make you feel better. Their donuts, ice cream, and popsicles are bomb. Everything is homemade and the flavors range from classic to out of the ordinary. Some friends and I tried to eat all of flavors of donuts, ice cream, and popsicles while on vacation. It was a delicious blur of treats we got to sample. Favorite ice cream flavors: Birthday cake, Coffee&donuts, Chocolate, Maple bacon. i liked them all. AND they offer just about every topping you could ever want on your ice cream. like pretzel bits. how did they know? Popsicles: Chai, White sangria, watermelon jalapeño…(liked them all.) donuts… all of them. Can’t wait to go back next time I’m in Provincetown!

After eating a wonderful meal next door(The Canteen), we came here for dessert and coffee since we received 10% off from eating at the Canteen. I had THEBEST pumpkin spiced latte(perfect sweetness and creamy) and awesome apple oatmeal donut(buttery and fluffy). Hubby had vanilla donut and coffee, all came out to be $ 10, love it!

Very cool, unique and inventive spot right next to Canteen on Commercial Street. I will preface my review by saying that I didn’t have the ice cream as it was too early in the day, however, they let me try one of the flavors(chocolate — used that as a baseline to compare to other places) and I can say that it is indeed homemade and very delicious. Although they have donuts, which I had, I think that the ice cream might be the main reason to come here as it’s homemade and they have many unique flavors. That being said, the donuts are pretty good and that they serve Stumptown coffee, which is a big win in my book. I had a plain glazed donut(once again, as a baseline for comparison), and although it was good, it wasn’t necessarily the best I’ve had — the dough was a little too thick for my taste. I thought that the ice cream was probably the better thing to order. Unless, of course you’re craving good coffee and a donut, then this would be the place to go to. Plus, they have nice beach chairs outside to sit and take in the view of the wonderful people-watching in Provincetown. Definitely stop by when you’re in town or after eating something excellent at Canteen next door, you won’t be disappointed.

I needed coffee and as soon as I saw that they had Stumptown Coffee I had to get some! I got a nice large Iced Stumptown Coffee with milk only. My friend also thoroughy enjoyed this coffee too! I didn’t realize they were known for their donuts, so I will have to try some the next time I’m back!

This is a fun little place on the main drag of Provincetown right next to The Canteen. They serve homemade donuts and ice cream as well as popsicles and coffee, but we only tried the ice cream here. A little tip is if you go to The Canteen next door, they’ll give you a card for Happy Camper to get a discount. I’m not sure if this is all the time, but we got them a couple weeks ago. There’s not much of an inside here, so you really have to get everything to go. I went with the Macon Baple(Bacon Maple) ice cream, and it was really delicious with little bits of bacon sprinkled throughout. The portion sizes are fairly big, and the girl working the counter was super nice along with very generous with the scoops on my sugar cone. My girlfriend had the mint chocolate chip and wasn’t a huge fan. She said it tasted a little odd and ended up throwing it away. Overall though, the rest of my family enjoyed their frozen treats. I wish I could look up the rest of the items on their website, but it doesn’t look like the pages actually work. I guess if you’re interested you’ll just have to stop in and take a look for yourself.

Good donuts made fresh each morning. The Boston cream donut had grand marnier in it. Very yummy! :)

This Ptown newcomer is awesome! During my two weeks in Ptown, I got iced coffee there every morning and ice cream every afternoon. I am a critical bitch and I have to say, this shit is seriously faultless.

The ice cream, ice pops, donuts and cold brew were all top notch and as noted by others the staff was super friendly, helpful and attentive. Where else can you get mini marshmallows as a topping that are toasted with a blow torch moments before being put on your ice cream? Only sad we didn’t come in for a taste the first day of our vacation, we would have come in every day all week. The kids loved it! Very family friendly(which, sadly, not all P-town establishments are.

Delicious ice cream with fun flavors. The rice crispy treat was our favorite– sooooo good. We also tried a banana with chocolate covered pretzels that was salty and sweet.

I just want to echo what everyone is saying in the below reviews and agree that this is one particularly excellent new addition to bustling Commercial street. It is high time that P-town got a really forward-looking, smart, and boundary-pushing dessert place, and Happy Camper definitely fits the bill. For as long as I can remember the only treats in Provincetown have been ice cream, salt water taffy, or portuguese bakery and that is it. Well this place has both ridiculously inventive ice pops and absolutely top-notch doughnuts. We simply got the raspberry hibiscus donut and it was just absolutely excellent. The guys working here were nice and I was just blown away by the selection and the cool artificial lawn out front on which a lot of people were just hanging out. This is a great dessert spot that I think the area badly needed and I will be back.

For me the mark of a great donut shop is its cinnamon sugar classic, and happy camper’s is very good. It feels homemade in a good way, slightly irregular in shape and properly crumbly. Also recommend the strawberry, boozy Boston cream, and the vanilla. I’m not in general a big fan of donuts with copious amounts of stuff on top, and here the Cookie Monster was a classic«wretched excess» offering. All in all, a most welcome addition to the outer cape!

Our first morning in town, our priority was strong coffee and something to eat. We saw Happy Camper was steps from our door and headed out. Two Stumptowns, 3 amazing donuts clearly freshly made, and we were off. Great find.
