Came here on Valentine’s Day weekend. The food here is great! I loved the $ 1 oysters during their happy hour. The waiters were very polite and added to our great experience there. There is a great variety of foods, from Asian, to Mexican, to American.

Very good food! We stopped here after a beach day in the area. Great cocktails, our kids loved the sushi, and the fish was very fresh.

Honestly the best $ 1 Happy Hour Oysters I’ve ever had. The Wellfleets were so fresh. It’s going to be hard to top these. We came to Provincetown on a whim during the winter season and came across Mac’s after seeing the recommendations on Unilocal. We came in right at 4pm for their 4pm-6pm HH. This is definitely the best deal and quality for oysters in the cape. We also had the HH Ahi Poke which was also very good — fresh and delicious with the wakame(seaweed salad) which was surprising because I didn’t know what to expect for Poke because I’m a little hard to please for a critical native Japanese foodie. All in all, great food, great service, and AWESOME value for this visit to Mac’s(and great company for driving with me for 2 hours to get here)! I need to go back!

Great place to go if you wanna get away from the crowds on Commercial Street. Make no mistake though, this place is a must if you’re a fan of seafood, especially sushi! Nice décor, plenty of parking, spacious interior, and delicious food! I wish we had gone a bit early to take advantage of the $ 1 oysters at happy hour. We ordered: salmon tartar, pork terrine, pork buns, and the wave roll. My favorite was the salmon tartar! Would love to go back and try the poke tuna! Sushi prices are a little more than average compared to where I’m from, but it’s in Provincetown so it’s to be expected. We went around 8 and were told the kitchen closes around 9. Surprising for a Friday night, but it was pretty slow inside at that hour. Keep in mind, we visited in November when some restaurants shut down for the winter! Really glad we visited Mac’s! It was worth it!

$ 1 oysters at Happy Hour. This was our reason for going to Mac’s. The oysters were amazing. Some of the best East Coast oysters I’ve had in a long time. My fiancée and I also enjoyed a few cocktails, all well made, and split the lobster dinner. The lobster was amazing! There was a huge party going on on one side of the restaurant and it was pretty busy on the bar side as well. Big kudos to our server who handled the crowd splendidly!

Best sushi my boyfriend has ever had! Also has a unique menu of other items. Great environment and service. This would have to be the best place I have eaten while visiting Ptown.

Stopped in for light lunch yesterday after trying to go there on Monday(they’re closed on Mondays!). Had oysters, clam chowder and a salad with grilled chicken(first non-seafood protein of the week…). –The oysters were fabulous — perfectly shucked, meaty, cold and presented on a great, long plate. –Clam chowder was a little thinner than some others in town but the flavor was spot on. Lots of clams… even some really big chunks/strips. –Even the salad was good! The chicken was perfectly grilled and the white balsamic dressing was light, slightly sweet and complemented the mixed greens. –Bloody Mary — delivered with extra horseradish… thank you. Wanted to try the sushi but it was not available until about 3pm. Server was adorable, super friendly and über efficient. It was clean, spacious and has a great outside patio(for warmer weather/window service). I would definitely come back to try other stuff on the menu next time I’m in town.

We spent 5 days in P-town during the Labor Day holiday and it was so much fun! I chose Mac’s Seafood because we wanted something outside of the town center, away from the crowds and the reviews on Trip Advisor were all positive. Especially the«Happy Hour» $ 1.00 each clams and oysters. OMG… what an experience! The restaurant itself is very clean, tastefully decorated nautical theme and the waitstaff were so sweet and attentive. And the oysters!!! FRESH, LOCAL, BRINY, SWEET and they were only 1.00 each. Pure heaven. Clam Chowda was on point as well. It’s a MUST try for a memorable nosh on the Cape.

We were sat right away, the service was perfect. The Blueberry Limonade was fantastic! We loved the calamari. The Scallops & Corn and Fish & Chips were delicious. As well as the hotdogs to accommodate our toddlers. It’s a fantastic place, restaurant, take away/fast food and store. Thank you for making our visit enjoyable.

Not a great experience. My broiled cod was good, not great. Sushi and salad were good. My daughter really liked the fried fish in the tacos. However, the cabbage salad and fresh tomato salsa with the tacos were inedible. They were not fresh and shouldn’t have been served We chose Mac’s since my wife wanted basic broiled or grilled fish. Her fish was over cooked and vegetables undercooked. The waitress didn’t come back to check quickly after the food was delivered. My wife would probably would give Mac’s 1 – 2 stars. I’m writing the review. Having a tough time choosing between 2 and 3.

Nice restaurant in Provincetown. We initially shared some sushi that was delicious. We also tried the dumplings but unluckily they were full of garlic so I won’t recommend. As a main course we shared a big lobster with rice and corn. It was good! I will be back!

Love this place. I have been here three times – each time was great. This is out of the way a bit, but worth the trip. There is plenty of parking. All restaurants have bad days, so I suggest that Howland and Nicole give it another shot. I will not go back to the Lobster Pot – some great dishes, but cannot stand to be pushed, prodded, then crammed like a sardine. Would rather eat fish than be treated like one.

Mostly everything we ordered was wonderful. One sandy oyster removed one star from the rating. But otherwise, very good quality seafood, with lots of variety on the menu. Their beer and wine selection was also very good.

Fresh dollar oysters and clams until 5:30. Quality food in town. Free parking outside the restaurant. Steamers are clean and sweet. One of the best seafood places in town.

Mac’s is one of the best restaurants in P-Town! My family and I went to celebrate my parents’ 60th birthdays and 30th anniversary; we were treated with such kindness and hospitality right from the beginning. Our server, Lauren, was adorable and so attentive! She gave us great opinions and we are all so full from the delicious food that we could have rolled right out of the restaurant! Lauren is the best! Ask for a table with her when you go!

I have eaten at Mac’s two other places in Wellfleet and was happy to see that he was opening a place in Provincetown. There were four of us. I ordered the poached cod which was terrible. I expected it to be on a par with the meals that I have had at the Lobster Pot but it didn’t come anywhere near the level of a Lobster Pot dinner. One of the other dinners also did not enjoy his meal while the other two did like theirs. I do not anticipate going back this year. There are too many other good places to eat. Also we were seating in the bar area which was rather noisy while there was room in the dining room that would have been much more pleasant.

Ask for Daniel. He is a thoughtful, friendly and attentive server. And he brings his own pens to work. He told us where he buys them and we are making a detour on our way home tomorrow. Also, these were the best cocktails we had in town. And the happy hour raw bar was really solid.

Solid 4 stars… we started at the Happy Hour for the Oysters*20 for $ 20. Edemame for $ 4 in a small cup was the only really mishap all night. That was the only thing overpriced and not worth it. Our server Debbie was wonderful, attentive and helpful. We had a Caesar Salad with beautiful white anchovies and the perfect amount of cheese and dressing. Both my partner and I ordered the 2 lb lobster with sides. They were cooked perfectly and so well cleaned that we really didn’t need the water bowl. The garlic mashed potatoes were truly garlicky. … adding the perfect additional kick of flavor. We couldn’t even try to add a dessert. Went home to the Inn quite content. Highly recommend.
