Walked in earlier today just looking for a chair massage. Made an appointment for a bit later in the day for a 25 minute treatment (on a regular table).
Tony was terrific. He found all kinds of knots (and I did give him fair warning that I’m a complete disaster ridden with insanely tense neck and back situations…).
I would totally go back here for another massage. If I can find the time to go again this week, I will go for an hour. Otherwise, I’m sure I’ll be back next time I’m in town.

Superlatives need to be regarded on Unilocal with healthy skepticism usually. In this case, one should harbor no doubt when I say unequivocally that my therapist Mark ROCKS (yes, even CAPs)! The space itself is clean and modest, with no pretension of being inspired by the Spa at the Mandarin Hotel, for instance. Nevertheless, Mark’s skills and professionalism more than compensated for any shortfalls in the facilities. After some anticipated queries about last massages received and any brief medical confession, Mark went to work, using a combination of pressure points, kneading and stretching. By the end, the knots in my neck and shoulder blades evaporated magically, like wisps of steam from a steeping breakfast tea. Certainly, I hope the post-​massage glow lasts well into Labor Day and beyond. Then again, even if unrealistic, one can only hope. Thank you, Mark.

In spite of being on vacation, my body was in knots. I had been here once before, but this time I had Tony and had one of the best massages ever. His work on my neck and hip flexors was exceptional. It is a bit pricey ($ 180 for 85 minute massage) but if you are here, you are likely on vacation, so go ahead and treat yourself.

I had two great massages with Tony J. I was in the midst of an extremely painful back spasm and Tony was marvelous – he was kind and gentle with me and listened closely to my concerns. He targeted the area that was giving me the most trouble, but also allowed for time to work the rest of the body, including spots sympathetic to my pain. Tony is a lovely man and we had a very nice connection, which I appreciated. I also must mention Maria at the front desk. She was extremely kind and patient with me, not to mention professional. I recommend Tony and Ptown Massage + Bodywork very highly!

Kevin’s amazing — a healer, not just a practitioner. Strong warm healing hands. Combines deep tissue massage, aromatherapy, and a studied and intuitive sense of the body and its needs. I’ve had several massages with Kevin. I feel the cumulative effects over time; both in my body and my mind. If you’re looking for the absolute amazing best, see Kevin.

Just had a great massage at ptown massage. If you want someone who understands you body and can apply the right amount pressure, Larry is your guy. He cared as much about how I liked the music to hitting the kinks with intensity. Perfect!

My review of this place is very similar to some of the other clients. I was was referred by some of my friends from bear week, but apparently I got the wrong therapist! The muscle dude I had the misfortune of getting was the most soulless individual that I have ever encountered in a healing profession. Big, muscular, no compassion, only a fair masseuse. I will never return here again, but the other guy (Tim) is probably the one my friends enjoyed. Overpriced! Bad Attitude!

I have gone to Larry for a gazillion years (I aged; he just stays hunky!). This man is genuinely the best masseur I have ever been to! Very intuitive, strong enough to truly massage and stretch you out (no pitty pat here), and will leave you a puddle of bliss which your body will remember for days after. RUN to him!

Been to this place over the years for massage work and have always had a great experience. BUT this past weekend I scheduled an hour massage that became almost like torture. This very large strong guy pulled, stretched and went so deep that I was in pain for most of the hour. He assured me he would «sense» if I was uncomfortable but apparently by tenseness and grunts and groans went unnoticed. I left bruised and battered. Steer clear of this place. There are so many other options now in ptown for massage work.

Wasnt planning on getting a massage but walked by and inquired they were able to get me in later that day. I think Tim was my massage therapist and i have to tell you it was the best massage i ever had. The ambiance was great (I was a little worried because it is right in the center of things in PTown and I thought it would be loud), it wasnt and it was amazing… highly recommend Tim (I think :)) Thank you

I live in Provincetown and was having trouble with my back. Stopped by Ptown Massage and Bodywork and was luck enough to get Tim Green as a messeur. Tim is extremely personable and was a great help. He listened to my problem, discussed it, and really worked hard to make it better. I am much more relaxed and feeling great. I intend to go back often and always ask for Tim. I highly recommend that anyone that comes to Ptown or lives here go to Ptown Massage and Bodywork and book with tim.

Incredible — I was very nervous about a massage at this point in my life, as I recently had Open Heart Surgery and my chest was literally wired back together. Larry asked me a few questions, I explained the dilemma and he proceeded to give me the most incredibly un-​stressing hour-​long massage I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be a returning customer.

I had a fantastic massage at PTown massage by Larry. I was all jacked up after riding my bike to PTown as part of the Harbor to the Bay fundraiser. Larry totally fixed everything. I can’t say enough for how great it was!

I called Ptown Massage about 11:00 am and was able to schedule an appointment the same day for 3:15 pm.
I met with Jerry, who was a lovely guy with amazing hands.
I told him my primary concern was my shoulders and paid special attention to them and just gave the most amazing fully body massage I have ever experienced. Honestly, that may not be saying much since that was first professional massage ever. But Jerry was incredible!
The music he played was very calming and the temperature of the room was perfect. Jerry seems to have a rhythm to his method that totally put me in the zone.
Make sure you show up a few minutes early so that you can fill out a small form about what sort of massage you’re looking for, but they tell you that when you make the appointment.
Nothing much to say really, but that I will be definitely coming back to this place next year.

I visited pTown massage in the Spring and had a nice chat with one of their workers. I found her to be friendly and supportive.
Today I emailed them about scheduling a full body massage. Within an hour or so I received a reply. I was able to schedule one for the same day.
I have had massages in many different cities. It was extremely wonderful to finally have one in Provincetown. My favorite part was being massaged while in a yoga pose. I’m glad I decided to go to PTown massage. I recommend Daniel.

Massage is expensive in Provincetown, and Provincetown massage is one of the more expensive. I have only been to one of the masseurs, Daniel, but I found him rough. The massage was totally legit, but he seems a bit… odd… and a little flirty, though he never crossed the line, I didn’t feel comfortable.
Not the relaxing healing experience I hoped for, expensive and tense.

I am a massage whore. I love massage, really, really love massage and I’m not even that picky. The «massage» I paid $ 110 for at P Town massage was the worst massage I have ever had. No joke.
So I give 3 stars because my gf had one guy and said he was amazing so if you get him (ask for the guy who does deep tissue and trigger points) then apparently the place is fab.
My guy specializes in «stretch» BUT I said I just wanted a regular relaxing massage! Instead I got yanked and stretched and was in pain the ENTIRE time! I actually couldn’t wait for it to end which I’ve never thought during a massage. I am sure if I felt like a stretch it would have been great. They need to be clear that this dude only does stretch because I would have just waited and scheduled with the other guy.
The place is also just over priced in general but it is a tourist town. I highly reccomend Urban Oasis in Inman Sq. — much better and cheaper.
