Gross — -Workers don’t wear hair nets! There are currently 4 individuals back in the kitchen without hair nets. One other worker has an orange baseball hat on. The special turkey, bacon and Swiss sandwich was decent, as was the service, but I probably wouldn’t come back to this restaurant. Also, beware of the costly service charges here. As I was sitting here having lunch, two separate guests stopped in to complain about an extra $ 9 service charge being added to their bill, in addition to gratuity.

Restaurants in hotels are generally not high on our«to try» list but boy is this an exception! The food is refined, extremely flavorful, and the presentations are wonderful. Although not on the menu, don’t leave without trying their crab cakes as an appetizer or main course! The plank salmon is also wonderful. If you are in Punta Gorda for only one night make this a «must do»!! They are also open for breakfast and lunch and the kitchen also supplies snack dishes for an outdoor gazebo. The menu, although not huge, has something for everyone from steaks, to seafood, to burgers. The chef is extremely creative, so don’t miss this one!
