Tried this place for the first time this weekend. We had just arrived on the island and wanted small and quick to hold us over until later. Wife got the 4 cheese grilled cheese sandwich with tomato bisque. She enjoyed it very much. Daughter just got some pretzel bites, what can I say… they were pretzel bites. I ordered the Pompeii chicken sandwich and am so glad I did. It was delicious. A grill chicken sandwich panini style. With Swiss cheese, sweet red peppers, onion, and pesto mayo. I will definitely make sure to grab one on every trip to the island for now on!

The place is very average. Nothing great, nothing terrible. I got the salad and BLCT, both of which were good, but nothing crazy good. Nothing was too unique about the place, and when I go to PIB I expect the restaurants to have a hook or gimmick to get you to come back.

Went here for breakfast. Service was fast, food was great and the price decent. We got there around 930am and were seated within 5 minutes. Will go back.

I am not sure why everyone says this place has the best breakfast on the island! It’s not really that true, and unless I am missing something, there were only four breakfast items on the menu. I agree with the other Unilocalers that this place was just mediocre. I visited last summer during my visit for lunch, and remember getting the philly cheesesteak which was pretty good. This year I decided to get a breakfast item at 2 pm, since they serve breakfast all day, and I ordered the Hot Mess. It was just okay. Definitely a lot of food — hash browns(wish they had been fresh cubed potatoes instead of the small slices that look like they are store packaged), scrambled eggs, whole pieces of bacon, smothered in sausage gravy and accompanied by two slices of toast. You can get alcohol there too which is a plus but it was our last day on the island and I did not feel the need to drink anymore. The service was okay, she seemed like a bored teenager or twenty something who had nothing better to do and did not smile a lot. I wish I had chosen a different restaurant at which to spend my final meal in PIB.

My friend and I came in for breakfast. We ended up leaving because a server never came to our table but yet a dozen servers would by us. The restaurant wasn’t even busy yet.

Was looking forward to an Italian dinner. Sadly the website is incorrect and they no longer serve Italian food. They do still have pizza and breakfast but those are the only carry overs from before. Food was ok but we probably would not have went here if we knew ahead of time.

We ended up going here both days for breakfast. Good coffee, great breakfast foods and quick service. I highly recommend it for breakfast!

Came for dinner, it was inexpensive and very good. Decent portions, good food. The service was somewhat rude and slow, but the food made up for it. Came back the next day for breakfast~ same deal with the servers. The pancakes were very good, but the hashbrowns were mush, and the food was cold and unappetizing. Wouldn’t recommend coming for breakfast, but definitely stop in for dinner.

It’s a pretty decent restaurant on the island. All the nearby places are packed, loud and really not that great. This joint is quieter and the pizzas were good. Changing my review from 4 to 2 stars: came back for breakfast. The food arrived cold. Hash browns are mushy and super greasy. The servers were slow and grumpy, just like last night.

Stopped by for breakfast Saturday morning. Get here early because there’s a line by 8:30 a.m. Frosty’s used to be the place to go for breakfast, but Pasquale’s seems more popular now. The restaurant was completely remodeled over the winter and there are more tables now. My wife and I both had the island special, eggs, breakfast meat, hash browns, and bread. It’s not Bob Evans, but it’s still pretty good, and not too expensive. $ 18.31 plus tip without any drinks. Didn’t try one, but the Bloody Marys looked awfully good!

We had a very good breakfast. I had the lobster eggs Benedict, and we shared the apple French toast. Our server was an Ilander, and told us all about growing up on the island.

I can’t really say I had much of a remarkable experience here. It probably had to do with dining so close to season’s end. Everybody’s winding down. The energy isn’t there, and so on. I can understand. For what it’s worth, my waitress was very nice to me which is always appreciated. The Hawaiian pizza I had was satisfying, and the crust wasn’t burnt or tough. I can’t say the composition astonished me, but it was a good pizza all the same. I’d eat it again next time, sure. Considering how… lively… Put-In-Bay gets during the summer, I think it a great idea there’s a family-friendly restaurant in the area to eat. I’m a fan of a little something for everyone.

The dishwasher was broken during my visit so everything was plastic. Plastic or Styrofoam cups, plastic utensils, disposable plastic plates. This had our waitress frazzled. Which then had me frazzled. I just wanted some damn fruit with my omelet, not carb-heavy toast and hash browns but they won’t substitute omelet sides. I have never worked in the restaurant world so I am sure there is a good reason for this but I see it as annoying because the fruit cost less than if I had ordered toast and hash browns as side items. For whatever reason, this had me really pissed off and normally I am not bothered by trivial things like this. Therefore, I think this affected how I thought the food tasted because everyone else I was with thought their meal was great. I opted for a veggie filled egg white omelet sans the carb crap, add on $ 4 for three strawberries cut in half and a whole orange. The omelet was very watery or oily to me and lacking in flavor. My mom and sister had the same meal with the toast and hash browns and thought the omelet was delicious and raved about the hash browns just to give me a little shit. I can’t recall what my dad had but I remember he wanted to eat breakfast here the following morning so evidently he quite liked it. I blame the limited menu and the weather for my poor attitude while eating here.

Mediocre breakfast. Tastes like frozen food that had been thawed. Not bad, but don’t expect much.

Had the pizza at Pasquales and it was OK. It was crispy, which was good, but something else just wasn’t right. I’m not sure what it was, but I think it was probably the sauce just being a bit bland. Overall, it was an OK pizza. I tried the ravioli from someone else and that was pretty good. The service was also decent.

Came here for breakfast. How hard is it to cook eggs, toast and hash browns? Pretty difficult apparently considering my hash browns were charred black as was my toast. The service was pretty bad too — I couldn’t get a refill on my coffee. Go somewhere else for breakfast.

We stopped in this place on a Saturday afternoon(around 3) for a late lunch. There were three adults and one child in our party. Our service was just ok, she did her job and that was about it. We ordered a variety of food from the menu. A pizza, salad, sandwich, chicken dish, and a kids meal. The salad and the kids meal were the only two meals that were descent. The server forgot about the kids meal and it had it be made«on the fly.» As for the other meals, the fries that came with them were cold, sandwich was nothing like what was ordered. Chicken dish had a metallic taste to it and I have had better frozen pizza pizza. Quite the disappontment!

Surprisingly decent little Italian joint on Put-in-Bay. It was so stereotypical with the red and white checkered tablecloths that I couldn’t help but laugh at it. We had a large party but we were all seated almost right away on a very busy Saturday night. I was excited to sit right in front of the big window. There were at least 10 people that walked by that started conversations with me through the glass. One guy was grabbing his junk. Even my mom thought it was funny. Then his«fiancée» walked by and pointed at her engagement ring and gave us dirty looks. That was the highlight of my evening. Okay, back to the review. Most of us ordered pizza and was pretty darn good. Perfect crust, perfect amount of toppings. I was pleasantly surprised as I thought it was going to be terrible. The sauce was the only thing I wasn’t satisfied with. It was too acidic. If you ever find yourself stranded on PIB, stop in Pasquale’s. It’s not as terrible as most other places on the island.

We dropped in here to this quaint eatery, ready for some pasta or pizza or something Italian. Well, they didn’t have pasta, but they had pizza, and subs, prepared like Italian entrees. I think I had the chicken parmesan sub, which is served with delicious waffle-fries. My sister had the Pasquale’s chicken sub, which she enjoyed. We never got to get any pizza from there, but it looked good sitting on others’ tables, piled with cheese. The chicken sort of tasted metallic, for some reason, in my sandwich. I couldn’t tell if that was because it was so hot, or because of the way it was prepared. The fries are great. They offer take out service there as well, but the hours are not the same all the year long through. They’re open daily from June through August at the same time(7am-10pm), but then on limited open-hours in April, May, September, and October(which makes me wonder about the rest of the months. Coming from California, I’m not used to closed businesses during snow months). Great little place to go, and I’ll probably get the pizza next time I do.
