Honeybaked Ham And Cafe

This is the best food in town. Fresh, not processed. The soups are perfect. I had no idea sandwhiches could taste so good. I will never eat subway again. Even my kids love it. They make peanut butter and jelly and even Mac n cheese. The staff is wonderful. Highly recommended.

Was leaving DollarTree and noticed this sign HoneyBaked Ham and Café in the parking lot I hadn’t had a HoneyBaked Ham in a decade. I remembered how delicious they were and Bf was hungry and needed something now. I asked him if he wanted something simple for lunch like a burger. I’m glad i didn’t leave though. Turns out he didn’t know they had sandwiches and thought they just served dinners on a plate like Easter dinner or something. I knew once I saw the menu and the homeyness and simpleness of the café that they would be true to their highly esteemed HBH reputation. I chose their Taverna sandwich which I customized on a brioche no tomatoes sub onions, no cheddar sub provolone. The meats, the hickory mustard… The man who helped me place my order and I believe his wife made the sandwich were so nice and kind. They even cut the sandwich in half and wrapped each one separately. I had to try the sandwich cause it smelled so good. I must have sensed smokiness, spice, and sweetness. My nose did not receive me and therefore pleased my palate as well. Oh yummerrrss! I had a bite — ok i ate half of the half teehee:) I had to remind myself to back away cause it was my bfs sandwich which he was really enjoying.

So for the other reviewer… The reason it takes longer to make a sandwich is because everything is FRESH! If you want fast food, go to McDonald’s! Some people… Anyway, this place is great! The employees are ALWAYS cheerful and friendly, and the sandwiches are awesome! All of them! Everything is fresh and delicious! They have a large selection of sandwiches with many kinds of meats (the chicken salad is to die for) they also have side dishes and each sammie comes with a bag of chips. If you don’t want a sandwich, they have hams you can take home and tons of frozen side dishes and desserts that all look wonderful! If you enjoy a good sandwich, I highly recommend this place, but don’t get your panties in a twist like Kennedy if you have to wait a minute, these people work hard and deliver a great product!

Service was fine but 15 min wait for a 7 $ sandwich that was very small. Good thing it was free.

Have been buying here for over 10 years. It’s always been excellent. We buy for holidays and as a place to get lunch. The store is always spotless, the staff positive, knowledgable and polite. The part I like is the chance to actually examine a ham, then to accept of ask for another. For Christmas, we actually got the ham, two side dishes, desert, the split pea soup mix for leftovers.
It’s always a positive experience.
