WOW! I’m impressed! Never expected such a great pizza, sure wish I hadn’t waited all this time to give it a try. I love that you can create your own specialty pizza and with such a large assortment of quality toppings. To see flavorful choices like fresh basil, arugula, field greens, whole roasted garlic and roasted cauliflower… and 3 types of sausage, not to mention the variety of sauces such as fresh pesto, and cheeses like feta, gorgonzola and asiago… oh my goodness. Then after selecting all my favorite things I was even able to top it off with a drizzle of balsamic/fig glaze or whatever you prefer! I wasn’t sure about the cracker thin crust or if it would hold up the hefty amount of toppings but it too was perfect! I was hungry but could only eat ½ of my original/med. size that was a mere $ 7.99, what a deal. Then the fact that the fountain drinks include 2 delicious types of lemonade(berry one incredible) AND2 types of ice tea was a nice addition to the typical soda choices. They even offer two types of beer which will be nice when I take my hubby in the summer. I like the fact that you can do salad creations ON a breadstick/cheese crust, unique idea. We will most definitely be back, even though our favorite sushi place is a couple spots down there in Sunrise. Thanks and don’t change a thing! Must mention the service was friendly and atmosphere clean and pleasant.

Love this place! They have really gluten free crust and they have never disappointed us. Customers for life as long as they keep making Tyler’s for us.

Love it, fresh and unique. I came here with my younger brother and my dad and we ended up getting four pizzas. We left with a smile. The ingredients are fresh and the cheese pizza(The test of a true pizzeria) is amazing. If it is your first time at Mod it can be a bit confusing at first, since they are a bit unconventional with their pizza menu, but this is the best thing about Mod. I went back a couple of weeks later with my wife and kids and they are now Mod Pizza fans. The pizza seem small at first but don’t let this fool you they are packed with fresh toppings. They have beer on tap and make some pretty damn good sweet tea. Mod is also a very family oriented place, so your family will enjoy the enviroment as well as the pizza. One more thing, their largest pizza has a double thin crust and one of the crust layers is sause and cheese while the other crust layer has the pizza we are use too. Trust me it is good stuff !

Friend took me here for my bday and they were awesome! Great price, yummy pizza, they have a salad bar, and even malts. The lady there heard it was my bday and gave us a free order of bread sticks. Yummy! Actual wood fired pizza

Best place for pizza in the south hill/sunrise area. Build your own pizza, price doesn’t change, and they have beer. Great atmosphere to boot.

I go to this mod on a pretty frequent basis because the pizza is great here, but there is one drawback to this location. On more than one occasion, I have noticed the same employee(she currently has dark blue hair) yell at her coworkers. This makes for an uncomfortable experience. I’m not sure if she is a manager or not, but if that is how workers are treated here, then I might need to find another pizza establishment to visit.

Vegan pizza!!! For such a good price too! All the toppings you want too! The girl making my pizza even offered to change her gloves for me. The flavor is amazing, try adding garlic for an explosion in your mouth. I will be returning and telling my friends

For the buck you can’t beat this place. And the lil one loves it she wants to go every night! FYI If your pizza has to many items, they won’t all cook. We go once a month.

We love Mod. However, the three girls working tonight were each super pissy and seemed almost annoyed that we were gracing them with our patronage. Nobody greeted us or said hold on a second as she finished doing something. She didn’t even ask what we wanted when she was finished with the person before us. She just sat there and stared at us expectantly when it came time to order. When our pizza was done the girl hurled it onto the counter and walked away while tiredly giving an obligatory«have a good night». So I would suggest not coming within the half hour before they close because everyone has a stick up their butt and makes you feel like you should’ve gone elsewhere with your money. P. S.- Pizza was still bomb. We’ll be back. During the day, however.

So we arrived on Monday night a bit before 9pm after the fair finding it on Unilocal & saying it was open until10pm, we found the place with all the stools up on the tables & the doors locked. Then we asked if they were closed through the doors & they said they were open & unlocked the doors. They were pretty bothered we &2 other couples came into eat. One of the employees was busy cleaning the dining areas & very rudely told us where To sit(even though you can pick where you want to sit) & where to put our trash. The only friendly person was the girl making the pizzas which the rest of the staff had left alone to do all the work. She called to the back a couple of times for help, but no one came. Pizzas were ok, salads were small. We’ve been to other MODs & received much better service & way better food. I’ll keep going to the Tacoma one from now on.

I hate to do this because I have been here so many times and the food is great. Lately this place has gone down hill. Tonight we waited in line as we watched 1 girl working(she looked like a mixed ethnicity) that completely distracted half the staff from helping customers. The line was not that long at all, but after waiting 15 minutes and not moving we left and went to Applebee’s. We were just at this location 4 days ago. The manager was there and moving the line with urgency. I was also very happy to see the tattood guy back. But tonight was back to being a wreck. The place was clean but it was clear that the employees were there for a paycheck instead of helping the customers in a timely manner.

Honestly? I got a 6 inch pizza of their menu here and a drink and they charged me 13 dollars after tax. When I asked why, the cashier was huffy and dismissive and told me my drink«included refills» I told her it wasn’t the drink I was worried about, but why is my pizza over 10 bucks when the sign says it should be 7 or 8? Then, when they made it, I specified no pork due to a food restriction and personal preference, and guess what? I took a big bite of straight up bacon bits. When I asked them to remake it, one of the workers rolled her eyes at me. I won’t be back. This place is rude and shady on their pricing. «All the toppings, same price» my ass.

I prefer this pizza over all other chains. Even though you can pick any ingredients you want for about $ 8, I prefer to stay with a cheese or traditional magherita pizza w/anchovies. The simpler the better. The processed meats, especially the sausages and beef, have this rabbit turd quality to it. The veggies are fresh and plentiful. This is the sandwich shop(i.e.; Subway, Jimmy John’s, Quizno’s, Jersey Mike’s, etc.) of pizzas. I think it is a wonderful concept. Now if someone would apply the same concept to poke(tuna, red/white/green onions, seaweed, sesame seeds/oil, shoyu(soy sauce), macadamia nuts, furikake… and any related ingredients over a bowl of brown/white rice). Poke bowls would do wonderfully here!

Mod is great! All of the servers are nice and your pizza comes out quickly. Also, if it’s not right, they make another one for you without question. Their menu selections are also a plus. You can get their speciality pizzas or just choose your own topics and keep it simple. It’s also in a great location. You can do your shopping/errands and grab a great pizza at the same time.

The good: — pizza dough is good, making for a good result — 4 drafts The bad: — line flows slow — they will count the onions and the peppers… — you will have to prompt them to use meaningful quantities

Great fresh flavor! The mini pizza was a little too smal for me, but I had a salad and a coke. Clean and friendly stuff. I love this place!

The cafeteria-style set up and length of the line tricks you into thinking you’re going to be shoveling pizza down your gullet in no time. 20 minutes later, your feet are mad that you’ve been standing for so long, and your mouth is mad that there is no pizza in it. Long story short, I probably wouldn’t go back if only because I don’t think I could handle waiting that long. As for the pizza, I liked the toppings and was meh about the crust. I like the idea of Mod – customize a pizza with anything you want for a fixed price – but the execution doesn’t make sense to me.

I’ve decided I haven’t been won over by MOD’s pizza yet, but I am a fan of the pizza salad on top of a warm asiago crust. Chose my own toppings, so of course the flavor was like a party in my mouth, so much so that I had to fold my pizza slices in half to hold in all the toppings. I tried to elegantly stuff it all in my piehole. The caramelized pear tea was just a whisper of flavor, just right. Parking is super ample in sunrise village, and if you come during the summer months the shopping strip has cruise-in nights.
