If you go to an applebees go to this one. They do all the food right and fresh. Waiting staff is very good and attentive. I go here every month at least and is my go to place for going out. They never slack even when things get busy. Even on saturdays when it’s packed the bartenders are quick and never keep you waiting.

The food came out overcooked(Chicken and Salmon were both overly chewy). The server was nice but overworked with not enough time to pay attention to the tables. It was a clean restaurant, the food was just not worth the money. Wouldn’t come back again.

The food is good, but dinner for four was over $ 100.00(4 entrees, 2 appetizers, 4 drinks). Not really worth it in my opinion, but this is just my opinion. I paid for myself and a friend, and I left hungry after spending more than $ 50.00 for dinner. I had the Fish and Chips, but went home and had a snack to fill the void. I know they have the 2 for 20 option, but still, it’s just not worth the hassle of going, eating in close quarters to everyone else, and then having to pay tip, etc…

I’ve been to this location a few times, without an issue-but my most recent experience was very poor! Initially, the waiter was very happy to offer beer suggestions to my friend & took her order, then started to walk away. When I called out that I wanted to order a drink too, he apologized and said that he thought I wanted water. We ordered an appetizer to share & our dinners. When the appetizer was brought to our table(by a different server), we found we had been given one napkin. Eventually we tore the napkin in half, since our waiter did not return to our table to check on us. Our dinners were brought out(by yet another server). After several minutes, our waiter passed by and we were able to flag him down to request napkins. He stopped by about halfway through our dinner to see if we wanted another drink and we told him we weren’t ready yet. After I finished my dinner & my drink, I put my dishes toward the end of the table. My friend was still eating when the waiter came over and asked if we we were ready for our check. We told him we wanted dessert & a second round of drinks. Drinks & dessert came and he promptly brought our check. As we were finishing up, another friend stopped in, hoping to have a drink with us. After we waited 10 – 15 minutes, we gave up on getting any more service(crappy or otherwise!) and left to go elsewhere! During prior experiences, the wait staff had been pleasant & competent. The food is decent usually, but our steaks this time were tough & greasy. Before this last trip, I would have probably rated 4 stars for the service & food.

It’s an Applebee’s. Nothing more nothing less. Three stars because it’s not as clean as I would like. And the service is sub par.

3 stars bc the server was friendly and my perfect margarita was perfect. Food was pretty bad. We got boneless wings tasted like they had spent a good amount of time under a heat lamp. Very soggy. My husband ordered Swiss portobello burger which looked like it was from McDonald’s, small and very greasy. My blt was smothered in butter and just gross. Way too greasy for us, we won’t be back

I’m going to say that my experience at Applebee’s a few nights ago was positive. And coming from me, given my general disdain for chain restaurants, that means something. It also means something because the last time I ate at an Applebee’s I said that I would never go back. I don’t know if this particular location is better than the one I’d been to previously or I just caught things on a good night, but I was satisfied. The staff at Applebee’s is young, but really friendly. At some places the young staff people can have poor attitude, but that was not the case here — I would go so far as to say that they were upbeat. If they were faking it, A for effort. I was impressed — one of the greeters even held the door for me as I was walking in. We had the spinach artichoke dip appetizer and I had the fish and chips as my meal. I did not win any good decision awards for health that night, but I was happy with the meal. The food wasn’t amazing, but it was hot and presented nicely — I received what I was expecting and felt full when all was said and done. Our server was friendly and attentive, but as my friend and I stayed to talk for a while, the service kind of fell off a bit at the end. She brought our check right after the meal and later we ended up ordering a coffee(we had to flag her down as she wasn’t really stopping by anymore at that point). She also stopped refilling our waters. So anyway, I’ve lifted my personal Applebee’s ban. I think they’ve made some improvements to their menu and because there’s an Applebee’s in practically every town, it will be nice to have them as a familiar standby if ever needed in the future.

I now have a new found love for Applebee’s!!! I took my son here for his birthday and quite frankly was not expecting much. However, he insisted. Right away, we were greeted at the door and seated immediately(it was lunch time). Our server, Blake, came over within seconds and I can not sing his praises enough. The level of customer service we received was OUTSTANDING!!! He was knowledgeable and accommodating and extremely complimentary. I know it’s his job to be that way, but so few people in customer service actually DO their job. Blake aside, the food was incredible! The chicken wonton tacos that Blake suggested as an appetizer were great! The steaks we ordered came quickly, piping HOT and looked exactly the way it was advertised! Plus, the taste was AMAZING!!! I was a little embarrassed that I completely cleaned my plate, leaving no scraps. Just when we thought we couldn’t hold another morsel, Blake presented my son with his choice of any dessert on the house for his birthday. A few waiters even sang to him without me asking. As far as casual dining experiences go, this was the best one that I’ve ever had by far. I will definitely be going back.

So we were on the way back from a weekend junket and the children started screaming hunger. Unfortunately this place was on the horizon and I made the mistake of being talked into going. My hatred for Applebee’s knows no boundaries as every one of the local ones I’ve been to all have major issues with suck service(Motel Dr.) or suck food(Rt. 191) and I’ve sworn them off as a chain but to avoid a mutiny I acquiesced to the masses and gave in. Much to my wallet’s disappointment. Our server was having«issues» today that were non-work related and clearly she was mailing it in performance wise. Even though she left about 2⁄3 of the way through the meal the damage was done. She did everything from forgetting to collect the menus until our food came to serving some of the most over cooked and over done chicken fingers ever. Even after we sent them back the next batch was only a half a notch better than the last ones as they were still over seasoned(like all Applebee’s food), over cooked, and seriously dry. But apparently that was the best the kitchen could do. Drink refills? Forgetabouit. The rest of the meals were unremarkable enough to skip mentioning and any FOH management was invisible but then again with how over cooked, dry, and seasoned the food was apparently any BOH management was also asleep as well. Normally we don’t do anything in Q-Town except drive thru it and this Applebee’s visit will make sure that continues to happen.
