MN Relaxation

Ok so I went to another 35 an hour place and it sucked after going to this place. I have returned 3 more times since my last review and every time was great. You do not have to get a deep tissue OMG massage either. They know what they are doing… NOT fancy but who cares. They are professional and trained. The price is very competitive.

After reading the reviews, I was really excited to have a deep tissue massage and was really disappointed in what I was met with.
I called MN several days ago to schedule an appointment and was set to have one this morning. I showed up 10 minutes early to my appointment to find the place still locked up with the gate down and locked. I continued to wait and while I did, one of the employees showed up and began calling the owner to no avail. I waited for a total of 20 minute (10 minutes past my appointment time) and still no owner and she was not picking up for her employee. I finally left, with the employee asking me to come back in a few hours. I responded that I had work and would not come back, but that truthfully, this was not a positive first impression of the business.
To be fair, I cannot review the services as I never was able to receive one, but it does not speak well to me that the business is closed when appointments are waiting.

I’ve been to this place twice over the past three months and always on a Friday–
reason being it’s the end of the week and the beginning of the weekend– to unwind after work! The business is aesthetically pleasing (nice décor).
I’ve tried Lisa who is older, but more experienced when it comes to relieving my stiff neck and shoulders (thanks to a pinched nerve). By the end of the session I’m a new man! 30 mins is more than adequate on the chair. Nice hot towel to finish!
The other therapist is Ewa (not sure about the spelling) the youngest of the two. But,
she is more than capable of straightening-​out all those knots in my lower –back. One hour or longer is enough to relieve the built up stress of the weeks hustle and bustle!
And a nice hot towel to relax the muscles even further!
Pricing is typical for the Forest Hills area-​The only reason why I prefer this place is because of the down to earth politeness and non-​rushed atmosphere that other places impart. It also has good hygiene ie clean sheets.
Conveniently located right next door to the ‘F’ train and is on Queens Blvd easily accessible by car or bus. Close to shopping and restaurants at 71^st Continental Ave
and the main subway hub for the ‘E’,‘F’, ‘M’,‘R’ and ‘G’ trains.
Will try different talent on Saturday or Sunday! Will report later as to outcome.

Ask for Jean, she’s get all the knots out. This is a chinese style massage, so it’s a deep tissue /​i wanted to go home and cry massage… so you have been warned.
I hit this place before and after my bike tours across New York State and Jean is able to help me get all my kinks out.
