Decent local bagel and coffee shop. Only accepts cash, which is not clear upfront. Was underwhelmed last 2 visits and probably will not be back again as there is a better & more consistent option available.

Want to get pissed off?! Come here without cash. But don’t worry they have an ATM you can use with a three dollar terminal fee. How is it possible not to accept credit cards in the year 2016? I went to a school bake sale last week and they accepted credit cards. Food is on par with other venues of this type in the area, same with the coffee. Go somewhere else if you don’t have cash.

Say the following: «I love Bacon» Receive: A great bagel covered in in the stuff! Coffee is fantastic, bring home some interesting flavors, but being here is half the experience. ;-)

Don’t go here, if you are in a hurry, as they only have one person, who works the counter and cooks. I got a bagel with cream cheese to go. It was flattened and cut in half sandwich style. The 1st half, the cream cheese was globbed on, mostly covering the hole in the bagel. The second half had no cream cheese on it at all. It would seem if bagels were your specialty, you would put a little effort into it. Also, bring cash, because they don’t take plastic.

Went to this place a few week ago and thought is was going to be like the other two stores around town. The food and coffee was the same but not a friendly feel in the place. Also make shore you bring cash they don’t take any cards at all.

Great service! Pretty good food too. There bagels are made on the premises and fresh! They have healthy options and their coffee is pretty good! I got the veggie breakfast sandwich, they were out of spinach but put other greens on it instead tasted really good! Def a new fave place of mine!

Based on my brief experience I give this little place 4 stars. All I had was a BLT but the staff was so amazingly friendly I absolutely know I will be back even if it is just for coffee. The BLT was pretty damn good too. Judging on appearance the wraps looked pretty tasty as well. The place itself is very cute and rustic. Definitely a nice little place to grab breakfast or lunch.

Badass little breakfast place in Queensbury! Having driven past Cool Beans a few times during my stay in the area, when James F and I were in need of a quick bite and some caffeine, we knew we had to stop here. Huge menu! Tons of delicious coffee choices, awesome bagel selection, and plenty of other breakfast bites. James decided on a «everything on it, please!» bagel and I went with their Mexican burrito since I was craving something spicy. Seriously, you’re away from Denver for a few days and the spice cravings kick in. The bagel and the burrito hit the spot! As did the latte and chai tea. Nicely done! Cool Beans is a neat little place to stop by if you’re in the area. I always love supporting cool, local businesses when possible. Pro tip: Cash only! ATM in store if needed.

We have been coming here almost every weekend for the past 4 years only because it is easy to stop on our way home. The service is horrible and the staff very rude. There is one employee who happens to be pregnant right now is exceptional rude it seems if you are now what she considers a local she can’t be polite. We will never be going back someone should teach this woman some manners. I can’t believe her boss puts up with this.

I walked into this place with my 5 year old daughter, waited on what I assumed was the line to be served since there wre 2 other people in front of us, and was ignored for 10 minutes, despite standing there and making eye contact with several of the employees behind the counter, and other people walking in after us and being helped. Horrible service, finally after being frustrated to no end and not once asked by anyone if I needed any help we left. I will never go back to any establishment with such horribly service. You would haev thought that when we walked out someone might have tried to see if we needed any help, but instead we were completely ignored, It was almost as if the had the attitude that they didnt need our business. If there was a negative star rating available on Unilocal this place would get it.

Love the white hot chocolate and it’s nice to see the gluten free bread as an option… Goes great with the chicken salad. Tad on the pricey side and very limited seating. Staff is always friendly. They do not take credit or debit cards which is unfortunate.

The place is Hippy Dippy and cash only ! The Mediterranean Wrap was excellent, chicken was plump and had good flavor. Good feta cheese, olives, banana peppers, fresh spinach, sweet red onions and a nice dressing. I would go back when in Glens Falls since there is really nothing up there except chain food… at least on a sunday afternoon. Just my .02

Cool Beans does not accept debit cards. Their branded ATM charges a $ 2.95 fee. Join the rest of us in the 21st Century, we’re at the Starbucks up Quaker Road.

They have a banner outside encouraging people to choose local businesses over chains, and that was exactly what I was trying to do when I stopped here to try and get some work recently. However, once I arrived with laptop in tow I realized they do not have wi-fi. This seems ridiculous to me, when every other coffee place I know of(including McDonald’s!) encourages people to spend more time(and money) in their establishments by offering free internet. Unfortunately I had already ordered an iced tea. The first sip was fine, but by the time I got back to the car my drink was infused with a strong chemical taste(I assume this was from the lemon, which I’m guessing had not been rinsed properly before being sliced and placed in my tea). I should have just gone to Starbucks or Panera, and next time I will.

Ughhh. This place was dirty. The pastries and biscotti were crawling with fruit flies. I saw this after I ordered… into the trashcan with you mr. Biscotti… Bathrooms were worse. Never ever going back

Cool Beans is a great place to gather in the morning and have that first cup of hot fresh coffee. The variety of coffee is fantastic and every cup is as good as the last. I’m originally from Brooklyn, NY so I know a good bagel… Cool Beans’ bagels are good but not the best ever; however I still enjoy them. Their egg sandwiches in the morning hit the spot and lunch sandwiches are just as good. The staff is extremely friendly and greet everyone entering with a nice hello.

Foodwise, their mediocre bagels are balanced by delicious egg and meat creations. But it’s a coffee house and the great atmosphere, friendly staff and fresh-as-fresh-can-be coffee are why you here, right? They rotate their flavors every day but they always have their house blend and their«FOGLIFTER» brew, which is quite dark and caffeinated. They have some really nice flavors, all of which are available by the pound in whole bean format. Take a bag home. Because I said so.
