The coffee and bagels at this place is as good as it gets! I drive by this place everyday to work and not until today that i decided to try this place. I always heard from my colleagues how good the home made bagels and cheese at this place are. This coffee break location is tucked into a corner off of the W. Squantum street right across the North Quincy T station. I always find this place packed in the mornings but its every penny worth the wait. I got the chocolate-banana flavored iced coffee in a medium. The size proportion was more on the large side. The taste was absolutely right on. I wanted to try out their jalapeño bagel with veggie cream cheese but they were out of it. I wish to try out their bagels the next time. The staff is super friendly and moves pretty quick to keep up with the crowd. Hands-down for their service. Considering the price and the proportion ratio this place is absolutely better than the other large coffee chains. The only regret is they don’t have a wifi inside and i wish they add more of out-door seating. But these things wouldn’t stop me from visiting this place.

Coffee Break Café is a decent little coffee shop near the Wollaston red line T. I’ve been here a few times and the coffee is good. I didn’t really understand how it worked with all their flavors and blends of coffee. So I ordered the toasted coconut coffee — it was tasty. But I didn’t realize you have to customize it with cream, sugar, etc to get it to taste the way you like it. Regardless, I enjoyed it. However, I’ve never felt the service was very friendly or welcoming. When I asked questions about the coffee or how it was served, they kind of looked at me like I was ignorant. They seemed annoyed I didn’t know the way I «liked» my coffee or the sizes, flavors, etc. I would rate this place higher if the service were a little friendlier.

Seriously, this is one of my favorite coffee places in the whole world. I used to live in Massachusetts but moved 3,000 miles away to Arizona. Every time I go home to visit, I swing by here to grab a coffee. The flavors are all original and there is something for everyone! If someone doesn’t like coffee, they have smoothies and frozen cocoas. You want an iced coffee, there’s tons of original flavors! Their blended coffees are absolute perfection. Every time I get one, there is no ice lingering at the bottom. My favorite drink is the frozen oreo craving. I drink it whether there is snow on the ground or it’s hot outside. You can’t even taste the coffee and it is the best dessert drink ever! The only issue with this spot is the parking. It’s totally worth it to get my hands on this perfection!

Fantastic coffee! Wait staff remember your order of you are a regular. Fresh bagels, coffee cake, muffins, etc. Large selection of gluten free and non-chocolate chocolate treats. Only downside is the wait can be long at peak hours but it’s a long wait for a reason– it’s so good.

I love the Salted caramel coffee here and I come here to get my large latte regularly. They had parking, fabulous! Only down side that I didn’t like is they don’t have much selection of foods as sometime I come in for coffee and wish they have great foods I can eat and make it one stop.

I don’t come here very often, but when I do I usually like to go with their frozen drinks. I like the frozen Oreo and frozen hot chocolate. I’ve tried their iced coffees before but found them to be watery and not very strong. Place is small but does have a seating area with some tables. Prices are comparable with other coffee spots, though a little cheaper than Starbucks.

By far my #1 place to go for coffee. I’m actually drinking a coffee from Coffee Break as I type this.(Flavor of the month — Vermont Maple… delicious!) CBC(as my friends and I like to call it) offers a large variety of flavored coffees. I’ve pretty much tried every single one, and I have nothing but good things to say about them! Their frozen drinks are to die for, as well as their lemonade and teas. All of the baristas are incredibly nice, and make great drinks. The café is on the smaller side, so during the morning rush it can get a bit cramped. Parking can be tough, but I personally don’t mind walking if I have to. There is a small parking lot outside, and street parking is always available. If you haven’t tried out Coffee Break I highly recommend it!

This place is amazing. It’s in a weird location, but well worth the find! Their bagels are so delicious, and they make their own cream cheese! I grew up in New York so bagels are my thing, and these taste like home!!! Will definitely be coming back here again and again…

I’ve tried to give this place many chances! I’ve been disappointed every time I’ve walked over. The first time was on a weekday morning when I wanted a coffee before work. The girls behind the counter barely paid any attention to me, not even bothering to greet me or say anything along the lines of «thanks! have a nice day!» The other times I’ve come I’ve had to stand in line for more than just a few minutes to order a coffee. I’m not usually a complainer, but I’ve been disappointed every time I’ve come — which is why I will continue to only show up when I’m desperate for a coffee fix, or have extra time on my hands; neither of which happen often.

This is by far my favorite local coffee shop! The wide variety of iced coffee brews is ever-changing, and I love that I can try new brews with all sorts of great flavors without having to use sugary syrups. The staff who works here is always very pleasant, friendly, and efficient. The only minor gripe I have about this place is that it’s small and it can get quite busy and crowded depending on the day/time of the week you go. However, this is negligible and does not detract from my overall satisfaction with Coffee Break Café. P. s. if you’re a fan of having nuts as a snack, try the wasabi soy ginger peanuts they carry. They’re addicting!

Had to ask 3x for her to make my coffee«on the dark side» and got a big attitude when I asked nicely. Place is pretty dirty too, could afford a sponge to it.

I used to eat a lot of breakfast sandwiches but have minimized for the past few years. On occasion I’ve had one here and there but they always leave me feeling like a lethargic blobby mess. Not here! No torpor or guilt. Pleasantly surprised by the sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich this café offers. The English muffin was delicious and chewy(was it English muffin or something else?). They have a cooler/refrigerator section where you can grab sandwiches or yogurt, but they heat up any sandwiches you pick up. Service was efficient and very friendly even though the line was constantly to the door(it’s a small, intimate space). Iced latte is smooth and satisfying. Saw that they have an interesting tea collection so I’m checking that out next time I come here. This place is hoppin in the morning, so come early.

Let me just say I’m not a coffee addict. Not one of those«don’t talk to me until I’ve had my coffee» folks by a long shot although I do appreciate a nice iced one once in a blue moon. I find it overstimulating, even in small amounts, so perhaps it should really be a once in a meteor shower thing. Originally I wanted to try Marylou’s but this place is easier to get to and is right down the street from where I used to grocery shop. I might add, this is not your neighborhood Starbucks. It’s a mom and pop establishment and they’re pretty good at what they do. I’ve only been twice but I really liked what I had both those times, one of them being a blended iced coffee.

First time here! Amazing little coffee shop hidden in Quincy. The Dunkin Donuts I used to go to was demolished because of their roof collapsing from the snow this year. Fate, it would seem, has brought me here. I am glad I went looking for a new place to drink my coffee and I am glad I found The Coffee Break! I can’t wait to go back and try more flavors of coffee and bagels!

I love the coffee selections here and how they change with the seasons. It’s cheap to boot. The selection is cream cheese is really awesome too. I love the buffalo chicken and the spinach artichoke flavors! The only thing I don’t like is the fact that you can’t really customize breakfast sammys as they are like premade ones.

I walk away disappointed every time I leave this café. The iced coffees are for sweet toothes. Note: My friends think I add a lot of sugar and cream to my coffee already(for reference, I like coffee like Starbucks macchiatos — that amount of sugar is right). I couldn’t down a sip of this coffee without cringing! Coffee Break is really for those who love flavorful syrups and extra cream or sugar. I gave it two stars for the comfortable atmosphere and food selection(though I can’t say I tried the food).

I’ve only tried the iced coffee and an iced tea, but I suspect this place is catered more toward customers who enjoy flavorings and sweeteners over coffees that taste more like– well, coffee. You get a sense of this as soon as you walk in. You’re greeted by that hazelnut smell evocative of Dunkin Donuts. I try to stay away from flavors and sweeteners in my coffee so I’ll admit, I didn’t try anything adventurous. I will say though, that if you’re looking for coffee or tea that’ll shine on its own merit, I’d look elsewhere. I found the iced coffee to be watery and flavorless and the tea wasn’t brewed very strong. The service was friendly though and the seating area was nice.

From time to time, I work in Quincy so I decided to check out one of the local businesses. Coffee Break is a very short walk from the Wollaston T stop. The outside looks a bit shabby, but inside was cute and inviting. I got an iced coffee. I have a bit of a beef with places that put the sugar/milk/cream in for you, but they were pretty good about following my request(very small amount of cream, small amount of sugar). I wasn’t blown away at all by the iced coffee, but it looks like their true strength may be their flavored coffees, so maybe I’ll give that a shot next time. Also… buffalo chicken cream cheese? Spinach and artichoke cream cheese? Next time I will definitely be trying one of these on a bagel!

I’ve been here a few times now. The Blueberry –Banana Crumb muffin is awesome. Also, I tried the buffalo chicken cream cheese people have been talking about and it is really good!
