Very good place, believe me! BBQ ribs are very tasty. Baked beans and coleslaw were also pretty good. Will definitely be back here on our next way to Great Smoky Mountain park.

An excellent BBQ place! The food was delicious and the servings are very generous. They have a great selection of sauces too. My absolute favorite is their BBQ Hot Sauce. It’s conveniently located next next to a farmer’s market so you can buy some fresh fruit and vegetables after a hearty meal.

So appalled with this place it’s hardly worth a review. This old lady was mumbling insanely rude things about my dog under her breath as I was ordering. About how people should pick up after their dogs ECt. I had poop bags on my dog leash in my car and told her I was getting them to pick them up if she was talking to me. I politely explained that I left them in the car bc the dog had just gone 30 min prior and she practically there a trash bag at us! I went back to the car as planned and got the bags picked it up and left. My friend said her BBQ had a lot of meat but was too sweet. I’m so appalled at how rude someone could be to a complete stranger. She could have easily asked me to pick it up and found that I already had the bags and the intentions. Needless to say I will never ever go back.

After you finished grabbing all those awesome veggies at Osage Farms, visit Tomlin’s! Haha. At least that’s what I ended up doing one afternoon. Since they’re conveniently located beside this grocer it makes for a quick stop or if you’re on your way to Cherokee before 4PM. :] I’m not sure how he goes about preparing and cooking his meat, but it’s absent of the rich smokey flavor most BBQ seems to have… which is a tad disappointing. However, the meat is very tender and the sauces are fairly good. The people there are also very friendly. But more about the food. :P The sandwiches are messy. They even jokingly said so themselves as I asked for a fork for my slaw, but realized I really needed it for my sandwich. Messy in a sauce dripping, tender pulled pork/chicken sort of way. The slaw is mayo base and pretty typical of BBQ places. A tad more salty than sweet, but not overbearing. Sweet tea wasn’t as sweet, but alright. I don’t really like it overly sweet anyway. Overall, not bad. I’ll have to try some of their other sides if I ever go back, but for the convenience in the middle of what seems no where they’re a nice stop in. They might be hard to spot if you’re looking for them yourself though. so just look for the Osage Farms. Tomlin’s is right behind it. I will note though. while I haven’t had the ribs or anything aside from the pulled sandwiches, if the smokey flavor is a must you might be better off elsewhere. I don’t mind it without so they’re more than enjoyable for me, but I could easily see some not being too impressed.
