I also had difficulty getting my kringles, ordered on December 13 and got them on December 28. I understand why, but they should at least notify you or answer the phone. Very poor customer service. Anyway, about the kringles themselves… what a disappointment. I ordered three of the«sticks» so we could try a variety– raspberry, blueberry, and apple walnut. They really had very little flavor other than sweet. They were very thin and pretty soggy. Defiantly not worth the forty bucks. I will never get these again.

Update to my previous review– seems the bakery was overwhelmed with orders(a good problem to have) and they just couldn’t fulfill them by Christmas. I was able to finally get ahold of a person there on Christmas Eve and they said they were sending out kringles as fast as they could. They had been mentioned on CBS Sunday Morning show and it overwhelmed them. So I finally got our Kringle the day after Christmas. The Kringle was worth waiting for, so I’m glad they could send it!

I should have ordered my Christmas Kringle from Bendtsen’s Bakery or O&H Danish Bakery instead. Like many others writing negative reviews, I too ordered my Kringle on 12⁄13 and am still waiting on 12⁄24. No customer service after repeated calls and emails. Interesting that all the 5 star ratings are from years ago and all the 1 stars are current. Buyer Beware!

I ordered on 12⁄16 money went through 12⁄17. I spoke to a really nice girl on 12⁄19 confirmed they had my order they had just been so busy. Today 12⁄23 still no delivery so tried calling mail box full could not leave a message and nobody picked up. Called the café said they have been receiving several calls but if you see the items paid for then they wee mailed. Well since the items were not sent on 12⁄19 I don’t feel these are going to arrive for Christmas. I have tried emailing several sent and not one response. Sad a business would treat its customers like this.

cherry kringle is amazing. i might never have a prepackaged store-bought pastry ever again, i am ruined for life! was headed from chicago up toward milwaukee area for a day, so did some quick Unilocal research. this was the winner, though i must admit it looked like a few competitors were comparably awesome. took a 20-minute detour, drove out to lehmann’s and was not disappointed!

I’ve had Kringle from ever bakery in Racine that sells them and Lehmann’s is the best. The pastry itself tastes better and the taste and texture of the icing is better. I like apple, pecan, and fudge. If you’re new, start with the apple. You’ll fall in love and surely go back for more!

BESTKRINGLE! My favorites are rhubarb, apricot, cherry, and pecan, but all of them rock. When I googled«Danish kringle Racine,» all of these other bakeries popped up, and it was a little hard to find Lehmann’s, but please allow me to tell you why I believe they’re THE place for kringle. My mom and dad, Jim & Judi, were born in Racine in the early 1930s and lived there until, let me calculate, about the late 1960s, when they moved north to Waupaca, where they ran a restaurant when I was born in the 1970s. In Racine, Mom had been a dental hygeinist and dad was a police detective. Anyway, all my life, whenever we went through – or even near – Racine, we always stopped at Lehmann’s, never anyplace else, for kringle. My parents said it was the best, and I think they’d know. When I was growing up in Tennessee, we’d order kringle to be delivered from Lehmann’s, and I’d send it to special friends and neighbors for Christmas when I lived in Baltimore. They’d rant and rave about it! See for yourself! If you’re not in Racine, and it’s not too warms outside, you can order your kringle online at , but don’t order too close to Christmas, or you’ll pay more.
