The kringle is very good. Cream cheese is especially delicious.

Sad. Shipping system is pitiful. Customer service worse. Trying to trace a shipment is an ordeal. It seems they just do not care. To top it all off the Kringle gift I sent arrived a mess with icing all over the inside. I wrote to the owner(Debbi) explaining my dismay. She simply ignored my email This business needs a serious attitude adjustment They got my money but lost my business. Buyer Beware

Not our best bakery. Always looks like a ghost town so your not sure if they are open. Decent bakery. Taste similar to grocery store bakery.

A friend of mine sent Danish Kringle, and the bakery seems unable and unwilling to help identify which friend sent the package. Both my wife and I called, receiving the same useless and monotone service. Once I identify which friend sent the package, I will advise them and everyone else to avoid service with this company/bakery. Kringle isn’t even that good! Steer clear my friends…

The kringles here are absolutely delicous and fresh. The pecan is one of my favorite. The pastry is light and flaky. Very reasonably priced. I have never had a bad experience and always come back for more. I recommend going early as the kringles go fast. The donuts are great for a local bakery as well.

I have not tried it yet. So my rating based upon ingredients. It may be delicious and the crispy not doughy Kringle I remembered as a kid. The owner and staff are friendly. My only complaint is that it is hard to find a Kringle made how it was 30 years ago. A Kringle with out all the fillers and artificial ingredients. High fructose corn syrup is a cheap alternative to sugar. I was also bummed to find soy lecithin in there. I have a child with precious puberty. We try to stay away from soy products because of how it effects hormone levels. And soy lecithin is a by product from making non gmo soy oil. When i called and placed the order I asked are the ingredients found in most kitchens. The answer was yes. I am not sure how many cooks use these products. Their were other artificial ingredients but I choose to focus on these two. I realize that Larsens still makes their Kringles by hand. I am sure they are made with love. I am just trying to give my family the chance to have real food made with out chemicals. If anyone recommends another place I would appreciate it.

This has been the bakery my family has gone too since I was a little kid(30 years). Been kind of disappointed lately. The taste is still good, but they rarely have a decent selection out in the case. I brought my kids in this morning and there was very little to choose from. Much of the cases were empty. Staff hasn’t been the friendliest the last few times either. Just seems to be going down hill. Tried O&H the last time and what a difference. Their cases are stocked full and the staff eager to help. It’s a shame because I always loved the stuff at Larsen’s.

Worth a stop to try. I have been working in Racine one week a month and stoping at a few places each visit. Everyone from Racine say go to O&H bakery for Kringle. Larsen’s is on my way to the work site and picked up a cranberry apple kringle… and it was quite good. They had samples of a marble cake out… and it was good too, very moist. I like bakeries with adventurous flavors and unusual items. Larsen’s is not this place, it is your straight up mainstream bakery, and everything I tried was good. As far as the O&H comparison. I like both but what I like the kringle icing at Larsen’s better.

I called last minute to have a cake made and delivered for my boyfriend on his birthday. The woman on the phone was very nice and accommodating and although I was only ordering a small cake the bakery with barely any time at all pulled together my requests and made the delivery successfully. Not only that… the cake looked great and I heard it tasted delicious too! Way to give great customer service and cater to needs of clientele. 5 stars for this bakery for sure.

Cake decorating skills that will blow you away! Larsen’s is known for cakes. They make an excellent cake and has numerous flavors and fillings to choose from. Regardless of what ever flavor(s) you choose, you won’t be disappointed. I had a great experience asking them to decorate a Doc McStuffins-themed cake. I provided a photo of the design style I wanted and the doll to put on the cake, and the staff went above & beyond to make a remarkable facsimile(A photo of what I gave them and what they produced is included in this review). The staff told me that the main decorator performed fondant work at home for many of the small accent decorations. The amount of effort and detail the decorating staff did was evident. The design blew my daughter and all of our guests away!

order your cakes from larsens. Out of all the Racine bakeries this place rocks. I have ordered cakes from here for probably 20 years, never disappointed. They have the best frosting ever.

I tried a few different items when I stopped by Larsen’s the first time. It was solid bakery, but nothing to be too excited about. I am interested in trying their vegan items next time I am in!

For vegans, this is a treat. Many vegan flavors of kringles and doughnuts are a nice find. Yet don’t think that the pastry here will be second rate compared to the nonvegan versions. I think they would not only fool a nonvegan, but they would like them regardless. The Boston crème donuts are the best I’ve had in memory. The kringles are awesome as well, especially the nutty flavors. Definitely worth a stopover on a trip along I-94, or even a special trip for a party.

Yes it’s good, but the Kringles at O&H Bakery down the block are wayyy better! Now, if you’re looking for Marzapan, come here! :) Great prices too!

Oh my word. I come to Racine almost never, but since college my friend has been providing me with Rasperry kringle from Larsen’s. I actually went there in person for the first time recently and it’s amazing in the sweets department. Their Kringle is delicious(better than the stuff you can get at the Cheese Castle and other, more touristy locations) and they have a wide selection of lots of other goodness. If you drive through Racine for anything I highly recommend stopping in. Flavors and flavors and flavors of Kringle… mmm, I have a sugar high just thinking about it. And trust me, the stomach ache is worth it.

I’m not a huge fan of sweets. I’m into spicy whether it be tons of wasabi on sushi or Tabasco on fries, big rich rare flavored prime rib, and deep-fried Catfish. But I could eat 16 tons of Pecan Kringle from Larsen’s! Kringle is a pastry invented in Scandinavia. Apparantly Racine, WI has the largest population of Danes outside of Greenland. Someone brought this amazing recipe with them. Kringle is about a food in diameter but is a ring, so there’s a hole in the middle(if that makes sense). Kringle has a lightly crispy flakey crust and is filled with your favorite filling, whether pumpkin, pecan, almond, or a fruity filling. I HIGHLY recommend the pecan! Oh, I wish I was eating it riiiiight now! If I lived in Racine, Wisconsin, I’d be a fatass Kringle-eating cheese-inhaling bratwurst-impaling Packer fan. But alas, I live in Chicago. Good thing is you can order Kringle online from Larsen’s. or
