Slow as hell and they are out of chicken tenders on a Friday night during Christmas shopping season. The drive through screwed up my order and I only ordered chicken and biscuits. I foresee this place going the way of White Castle if things don’t change.

I had what is quite possibly THE WORST meal I have ever had in a restaurant, fast food or otherwise. I ordered the popcorn shrimp and chicken strip dinner, sides were red beans and rice and a biscuit. Ordered it through the drive through. I live less than 5 minutes away yet when I got home EVERYTHING was cold. It was as if the food had been sitting out for awhile before they gave it to me. As bad as the food was, and it was bad, they didn’t get the order right either, leaving out the sauces for the shrimp and chicken strips.
I’ve been to the Popeye’s on Washington and have generally found the food to be good. Honestly, if this is the quality of food one can expect from this location I’ll spend my money elsewhere.

2nd time we ate there. First time was right after opening. Waited 20 minutes in line for staff that didn’t know what they were doing. Thought we would give it another try today. Line was much shorter, fewer people working in the back — and it took 15 minutes in line for a simple «combo» meal. Piles of chicken were visible. I ordered spicy, I got regular. Tables in the restaurant were dirty. Men’s room was disgusting. This is, unfortunately, not fast food.
I like Popeyes. It’s my airport meal when its available.
We won’t be back to the store on Durand. I hope it survives, but, just not worth the disappointment of expectations, time or expense. It’s a shame that they can’t get their act together.
