Roundabout Bar & Grill

We were at an event the week before in the hall and the fish was good. Went back to try the restaurant. We’re told the wait would be about 30 – 45 min. Waited for an hour and ½ and left with no table in sight. The table we were told to be waiting for was in use by a party of 6 older people that the staff couldn’t seem to ask politely to move to the bar so they could serve new customers. Overall, staff seemed uninterested in seating us. Waste of time. Won’t go back.

Very small place that serves good, cheap food. Many menu options to choose from and different specials every day. My boyfriend and I went on a Saturday and noticed they had Smokehouse specials for the day. Was told they usually don’t start making these food items for about another hour, but didn’t mind doing it for us. I thought that was pretty nice.
I ordered the Smokehouse nachos with chicken and my boyfriend had the Smokehouse chicken meal. Both were excellent! We also had breaded mushrooms and calamari for appetizers, which were very good as well. The calamari was in stick form which we thought was different, but the flavor and texture was great (not at all chewy). Prices were cheap for the quality and portions.
The only thing I can say bad about this place is that the service was not great when we went. They were very understaffed. It was either the owner or a bartender that waited on us the majority of the time and didn’t know the menu very well, although he did admit right away that he wasn’t a waiter. It was also pretty loud; most of the people were there drinking not eating.
I appreciated the fact the chef brought out our food and came out again when we were leaving to ask how everything was and to come back soon.

The smokehouse nachos are wonderful! We had the brisket version and that brisket is awesome! It is the same brisket in their sandwich & dinner – yummy! The reviewer who said only fried food is way off – wraps, grilled sandwiches, salads – not sure how that is fried. Of course they have fried foods as well – which are tasty but you have a great choice. It is casual and very friendly. I like neighborhood feel of the place and love to give places like this our business. A table next to us raved about the Cuban sandwiches they just ate. We had wraps and chicken as well that was tasty. They have a lot of specials especially Saturday dinner smokehouse dinners – we are definitely coming back to try that.

Since there were no reviews we thought we’d be the first. Almost everything on the menu is fried so if you’re trying to keep it easy on the belt line, look elsewhere.
Smokehouse Nachos are delicious but greasy. Service is slooooow. We were the the only open kitchen order and it look 35 min.
Their black & bleu salad is iceberg lettuce, slices of roast beef lunch meat and tomato slices. Pretty good as long as your expectations aren’t higher.
Veggie wrap is pretty bland.
Hey, this place is OK. Staff was nice but nothing here will blow you away. Smokehouse Nachos are definitely worth trying.

They have a wonderful Friday Night Fish Fry! I would give it another try even though, I was a little turned off by the service. May just order it take out?!
