The server was amazing!!! She was totally on top of our order all the time!!! It was great. Her movie quotes and references were hilarious! On to the food… the stuffed mushrooms were spicy… we got them baked. Delicious but really do pack a punch. The downfall was my prime rib… the specialty of the weekend that they«sell out of» was obviously left over from yesterday because it was so cold in the middle it seemed close to frozen. They took it back… nuked it and reserved it. Hmmm. It was ok. Overall not a bad spot… will try it again because I loved the server. Oh… and the cheesecake was awesome and completely delicious!!!

We were very unimpressed with this place. The food, the service and even the classless menus were a serious disappointment. My side salad which was comprised of iceberg lettuce, a single tomato wedge and a paper thin slice of cucumber was not enough to feed an anorexic. The food took a long time considering it was pretty empty in there(especially for a Friday night). The only good thing about this place is the location, however, we will never go back. What a shame.

Smoked Sampler platter was tender, juicy, smoky and succulent. The bbq sauce was thick and delicious. The sides of Mac and cheese were good and the coleslaw was delicious. Homemade Apple cinnamon baked beans were the best… The pumpkin cheesecake was absolutely the best I have ever tasted. Get to The Grille! You won’t be disappointed… Oh yeah… the loaded nachos at the Packer game were delicious!

It was okay. First of all, I was surprised that there was only one other party in the dining room besides us. Sometimes that doesn’t speak well of a place. But, I tried to shake off that feeling and give them a good try, without judgment. Well, the service was okay, but very slow for having one other party. We were seated quickly and the server asked if we wanted drinks right away. But, it was slowish from then on out. I ordered crepes, but was told they were out of crêpe mix. So, got a gyro instead. The server very nicely offered me my soup for free(I had ordered it when I ordered the crepes) because she hadn’t know about the crêpe situation. I had seafood bisque. What I got was a bit different than what I expected. I usually expect bisque to be rich and creamy. It was lemony tasting and I didn’t find any seafood in it. Maybe it was seafood broth? Not sure. Most of the bisques I have had have at least tiny pieces of seafood. The gyros were good. My dining partner had cod and liked it pretty well. Nothing spectacular. All-in-all, it’ll do. Will I go back? Not sure. I’m here for a limited time and want to check out some other restaurants and this one isn’t at the top of my list.

This is the first time I visited the restaurant in many years. We went last night for dinner and the Team Trivia event. It was obvious that locals are drawn for the game(which was run by a guy who according to his self disclosure does this often — the guy was terrible including substituting the last question because someone complained about the question). I do not know what was worse, listening to the guy or the bad food. My guest ordered the baked cod with rice. The rice was nothing but a pile of starch(overcooked). The waitress tried to make it up with a substitution of sweet potato chips that were swimming in grease. My wife’s french fries were fried in the same oil as they used for frying fish — ending up tasting like fish fries. Her steak sandwich was so greasy that it was difficult to eat. After experiencing the food, I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. For as crowded as it was in the bar(that is where they played the game), the service was pretty good. The prices were quite modest but the food was very disappointing. If you are drawn to the Team Trivia, I recommend eating before coming to the bar/restaurant. This would be a great location for John Taffer(Bar Rescue) to work his magic.

This place is okay. We took my MIL here on one of her limited outings while we were visiting her. Because of her walker, we could not sit in the dining room, so were seated in the bar area, which was preparing for a trivia contest of some kind. It was VERYLOUD. People who were seated at tables on either ends of the room were talking over us, which is pretty annoying. The service was fine, though we had to ask more than once for a couple of special requests. The food was good, though not delicious or particularly remarkable. This is not imaginative food, but will please a large group of people with differing tastes. Sit in the restaurant if you don’t want a lot of irritating ambient noise.

This is one of my go to places. We love the seafood potpie, it is amazing even if you are not a huge seafood person. Great burger too!

I arrived in Racine for a conference and stopped by the San Francisco Grill for an early dinner. On the recommendation of the bartender, I had their daily special that was meatloaf(something I would not normally order). It was great, second only to mom’s. Great homemade salsa with chips to start. Price was VERY reasonable. I would definitely eat here next time I am in the area.

The food here is good and they have a diverse array of offerings for people to pick from. from the hot wings, saganki(flaming cheese), mushroom sandwich or chicken fajitas that I’ve tried it has all been good. One of the bonuses was the service when we had been there, the hostess(on duty manager) was there to aim to please when we brought a coupon in for a wrong night but still allowed it. its those little things that will get people back in one of the tough places to have a restaurant like racine.

I’ve been to San Francisco Grill a few times and always been pretty neutral toward it. Ok burgers, decent drinks. Today I decided to check it out with my husband for a packer game. They had some decent specials and it seemed like it was worth a shot. He tried to order 12 of the forty cent wings. It was only the 1st quarter and the waitress said there was only 10 ready. Seriously? Then when she brought them out they were pink on the inside. We sent them back and they brought them back out, claiming it was just the bone. We were sort of made to feel stupid for complaining and he took them back and sort of picked at them. Then my husband found what he thought was a hair. He showed the waitress and she sort of stumbled and said something about it being a feather. Gross. In the end we ended up calling the manager over. She was pretty defensive overall. We just felt she should take some ownership for some mistakes, offer some sort of peace offering and move on. But instead, we had to explain to her how they could have done a better job and made us happier customers. It seemed like one little problem that could have been easily fixed by replacing the original wing order just seemed to snowball. They did end up crediting the wings, but it was too little too late at that point. My meal, while not as awful, was also not worth having. I stupidly ordered the chicken marsala special. It was pretty mediocre. The pasta side I was promised was only buttered noodles. Not impressive at all. There is no way either one of us will ever be back.

Wonderful, fun restaurant featuring Greek & American food, bar area with big screen TVs. Especially love the Flaming Saganaki, served tableside, and delicious Rotisiere Chicken. Friendly service. We eat there twice a week. Highly recommend.

Went on a Sunday afternoon looking for a Vikings game. Found it here at this relatively new place. The place is divided into two sections: one for nonsmokers that is dining room oriented and the other being the bar area with a more sports bar motif. I can’t wit until smoking is banned all together in restaurants. It is a pain to put up with second hand smoke if you want to watch a game in a tavern like setting. It was cold so I had some hot tea. The menu looked fairly extensive for a bar and grill operation and you can tell the chef likes to dabble in some nice dishes. The first thing was the French Onion soup with wine. Delicious. the cheese was flavorful, chewy, but not overly cloying. The onions were delicious and tender with the right amount of flavor. This was an outstanding dish. Next up was the ½ pound Angus burger. I get my burgers medium-rare with no cheese. It came very flavorful but was a tad dry. Many burgers you get today tend to be this way because they are trying to make them more healthy by cutting down on the amount of fat. Again, nice flavor. Really good burger with a side of fries. The burgers must be popular since several people around me ordered a burger. Again, the menu seems very diverse. I would come back just to try new things. Very nice. I recommend it.
