Aldo Shoes

Aldo has a reputation for fashionable and comfortable shoes. If you can catch them during a sale, you will can also find some good deals.
I haven’t had any problems with the quality of Aldo shoes. I had a pair of sneakers that was fine after 6 years (before meeting the end of their life in my closet). Once I am ready to replace my good old Rockports, I may give Aldo another try.
My girlfriend recently stocked up on some flats for work, and found some great deals after Christmas. Unfortunately, the store has only one register. We waited in the store for about 15 – 20 minutes due to an issue with a customer’s Visa gift card. While this wasn’t the fault of Aldo employees, it did seem a bit silly waiting in a line for so long. They should have another cash register or a mobile POS system.
My favorite thing about Aldo is that you don’t have to get a bag – you can have them attach strings to your shoebox so you can carry that around!

Lately I have equate Aldo with shoe fashion frontier, and in my book fashion = $$$.
My work loafers have became quite worn and need replacement, and I really do want a pair that fit both work and a night in town.
The best thing about Aldo Shoes is that, if they don’t have it in display or in stock, they are willing to order from their supply and ship it to the store for you to pick up. I mean, what other fashion stores would do that for you? New York & Company? Express? Doubtful.
As much as I adore fashion, I am actually quite frugal. Because of that, Aldo is not a place I quite frequent, therefore every trip I make here has always been quite entertaining. I end up picking up a really nice looking pair of Strassberg casual boot that I can actually wear to office, and best part, it’s on sale!

Aldo has a great reputation in both their class, product, professionalism, and style for shoes. The only real thing I have against them is their high prices. They always have a great sale rack though.
Recently I picked up a pair of tan leather flats and cream colored satin wraparound heels. I’ve never owned a pair of flats in my life because they never stay on my feet. These do! They rubbed a little on my heel, but that was nothing that couldn’t be solved by some soft heel inserts. The other pair are reserved for a night out, a photoshoot, or a fashion show. Both great finds coming in at $ 35 (used to be $ 50) and $ 45 (used to be $ 90) apiece though!
I must say that the shop at Crabtree Mall is very small, but well-​stocked. It can be a little crowded at times, but not overwhelming. The store sells both men’s and women’s shoes, although I believe they have more to offer women than men. They also sell accessories for hair and some jewelry which is really cute!
The staff is always super friendly and incredibly helpful. Last Friday I definitely walked out of their proud of my discoveries and purchases, but also well supported and cared for.
