Autowash Express

My car washes from this location last me about 2 weeks. They do a really good job with interior and exterior for under $ 20.00. I love the consistency and very little wait time. This has been my go to car wash for 2 years and I never had any issues.
This location also has the best smelling vent scents for your vehicle.

The manager is rude and doesn’t even try to hide when he’s annoyed or frustrated, whether it is with his employees or his customers. We needed our front seat to be shampooed and vacuumed and came to them for business, but they were busy and backed up so they were very rude to us and told us they could not get to us today for the second time. We will not be back. And we will make sure none of our friends made the mistake of going to this place.
I totally understand that they are busy due to their location. But that does not give them the excuse to treat their customers terribly because they are stressed out.
So disappointed.
The past we have had our car washed year before, but we are always let they are because the car is still dirty especially the interior. I think they need to work more on the quality of their work. Rather than running people in and out.

I dropped my car off at lunch today to get the «ultimate» wash for $ 25.00. I have never tried Autowash out, as I normally take care of washing and waxing my own car on a regular basis, but with life being so busy right now I figured I would give it a shot.
I left to get some lunch and had to rush back for a meeting so I didn’t get a chance to fully inspect it until my ride back to the office. Under the description of the wash, they were supposed to clean the cup-​holders, vacuum, tire detail, etc. The cup-​holders were never touched, the rims were still fairly dirty in the wide open, visible grooves, and it looks like there was a total of 2 minutes spent vacuuming the surface of the mats but not around them at all.
The overall wash was about a ³⁄₁₀ in my opinion. Less than impressive to say the least, which is really unfortunate considering most folks I have talked to had a good experience.

I was very impressed with the service I received after having a 20 oz thermos of caffe latte open up and spill all over the rubber mat and carpeting in the back passenger floor. Since we discovered the spill upon arrival to the beach, we cleaned up the spill as best as possible, knowing we would be back home in a few days. However, with the combination of heat and milk, it didn’t take long to start smelling pretty badly. After returning home, I contacted Autowash to see if they could do a partial shampoo ASAP. I was able to bring my car in right away and Lazslo, a manager, personally cleaned the mat and carpet himself, as well as spraying odor eliminator on the area. He told me to bring it back the next day for a second wash, which I did. I also had an interior and exterior cleaning upon my return visit. All services were performed extremely well! Lazslo told me come back again again if I needed a third shampoo, which was not necessary. (I used Febreze on the mat and carpet after the second wash as well.) Besides the interior/​exterior wash, I was only charged for one time partial shampoo!

Go somewhere else!!! They are not thorough at all. I paid extra to clean tires and hub caps and they left half the dirt. They do NOT wipe the interior at all! Just vacuum and that is done very superficially. Car was not clean.

Miss a lot of spots, had to speak to a manager

Been going here for a long time and never had any major issues. Due to the normal turnover of staff you might notice a shortcoming every now and then but nothing that wasn’t taken care of immediately upon bringing it to their attention. Yep, I’m a Fan !

I went on Saturday, I chose the $ 22.95 package. While waiting for my car to be taken in, I took some trash I gathered to their trash bin and tripped over the uneven side walk almost landing smack on my face, only to catch myself on their trash can. The lady who took my car wash order watched the whole thing happen and didn’t even offer a «are you okay?» When I went inside I told the cashier what had happened and how my foot was hurt and was told, «oh, yeah you need to be careful.» That was it.
Then to top it off I went to get my car and it was dirtier than when I gave it to them. The windows and mirrors were streaked, the door jams had cleaner or something sprayed on them that was not wiped off at all, the floor maps were still dirty, and the best part there was still mud on the bottom OUTSIDE part of the door and when I called attention to it, the kid told me that was NOT included to get that off… WHAT? It’s a car wash right? You don’t clean the outside of the car??? By the time I got home, I had to re-​clean my car and ice my foot that was hurt because of their property. I have also wrote a formal complaint about my foot with pictures of the bruising and swelling. I don’t think I will be returning again. I could get my 6 year old niece to clean the car just as well!!!

The last couple if times I’ve come I’ve bout the 22.95 package and it seems like the car is even dirtier when I leave :(
They left soap all over the bottom of the vehicle and along the back hatch. The rubber mats were still filthy and caked with dirt. The door jams had some sort of spray in them that they neglected to blend it or wipe off or whatever. Not a good experience, I definitely feel I got ripped off. The very first time I went, a few months ago, I thought they did a decent job, but these last couple of times, not so much.

For $ 15 you get your car washed and vacuumed.
I did notice they missed a few spots. And it would be nice if they would also take a dust cloth over the dash board– a lot of dust accumulates there. No big– I’ll do it myself when I get home, but I think this could be something that is fairly simple for them to do when I’m paying to get my car cleaned.
I also noticed a big wet footprint on my floor mat. Mildly annoying.
It is a quick process. I am never sure whether you’re supposed to tip them or not, and I’m never sure when my car is done, because they don’t call out your name or anything like that. You just have to keep watching.

I don’t give five stars much, but when a business does an outstanding job I am more than happy to reward them. Today was my first visit and boy was I impressed! I pulled in behind 2 cars and the attendant came right over and handed me a menu of services to chose from. I chose the $ 17.95 wash and I had a coupon (you get a $ 5 off coupon when you join their mailing list) so it was only $ 12.95 for a complete wash and a vacuum of the interior. After you chose your package, you go inside to pay and wait. You can even watch your car go through the wash from the large windows inside! The whole wash and detail only took about 15 minutes from start to finish and my car looks great! Not a spot or streak in sight! I will definitely be back.

I’ve been coming here for 7 years and have never had a bad experience here. Not once have I ever left here dissatisfied with the job they have done. I think that 30.00 is very reasonable for the job that they do… from floor mats to the tires… for an SUV. Don’t forget to pull your magnets off though; but if your absent minded like me they have this huge door that has all the magnets that have fallen off in the wash. All around good experience and the staff are all friendly.

This is the worse car wash chain including this location in the western world. It’s over priced and they deliver crap for the price. Just hazarded another trip here just now. Paid 22.95 plus tax for a basic wash with a minimal tire gloss. Stuff left on the exterior. Interior not even wiped down at all. Worse, I’ve found white dog hair in my car from someone else’s dog now on MY dash and carpet and then somehow they got water along the carpet under the door and on my rubber mat. Had to grab someone to come wipe it all up. This place stinks.

This is the place to go if you plan on sustaining damage to your vehicle and you want to spend money having it re-​cleaned. After my most recent trip the attendant vacuuming managed to break the retaining clips for the drivers side mats on my vehicle. Unfortunately the parts were vacuumed up as well.
After the attendant stated «#hit happens» I asked the manager on duty if the lackluster cleaning and broken parts were the norm. I was told «That’s just the kind of fabric your carpet is and that’s the best we can do.» Furthermore, I was promised that I would be called after the vacuums were cleaned and my missing parts would be returned to me.
After two days of no calls and no response to my contacts, I returned to this location for a refund.
Do yourself a favor. Take a trip down Strickland to Falls of the Neuse. Take a left and visit the Auto Bell on your left. You’ll save a bundle of time, money and harassment. I won’t return to this place again nor would I recommend it.

I have been here a few times, and find myself every time having to have my car re-​cleaned. It seems the people they hire to work the vacuums and stuff out front, work so fast, they don’t even clean your car. Last weekend I was here, I came out to get my car, that was «completed». The insides didn’t look vacuumed or cleaned at all. The exterior gloss looked like a mess. I called the guy back over, and asked him to fix it. He spent maybe 15 seconds on it. I came back, and it still looked awful. I was so frustrated, I decided to leave. When you pay close to $ 30 for a carwash, you expect to have a nicely cleaned car. That’s not the case here. I don’t recommend spending your money on a car wash here. You might as well go to the car wash at the gas station. ¼ the price, and the same clean job. I could say this was my first bad encounter, but stupid me, I tried it again. If the out front staff paid attention to detail, they might actually earn my business. At this point, I am seeking elsewhere, as should you.

Attack Of The Bomber Pigeons!
Seems a little lame to write a review of a car wash, but having been carpet bombed in DC a couple days ago, and arriving home after the 4 hour drive in the rain, payload intact, I needed help. So off to get a bath. When I went out to pick up my car, (this is the high end sort of car wash where you get out, go inside and maybe take an espresso, or other refreshment, maybe buy a greeting card-don’t laugh, they actually have a pretty good selection) while they service your car. Well, there was still a «residue» on the trunk of my car. It (the disgusting turd) ate through the top coat of clear coat on my paint! Gross!
Without any questions, wait or trouble, the manager took my car to the detail shop, got out the buffer, and buffed the back of my car. He then ran it through the car wash again. Then they then did a bonus wheel shine. All for no extra charge. Now, I have been here many times, but this level of customer satisfaction is truly above and beyond.

This is a great, easy and fast car wash. I have been coming here for years and never had one problem. The prices are also reasonable. I would recommend going during off times to avoid a line. They also do excellent detail work!

DO NOT USE THIS CAR WASH! I have a Thule bicycle rack on my car that was properly installed and that I use on an almost daily basis, trusting my expensive bicycles to. This car wash tore the rack from my car damaging both the car and the rack. My car has a huge dent in the roof and major scratches down the roof and rear trunk. I was contacted today by the general manager and was told that they would not be responsible for any of the damages. I am contacting my attorney regarding this incident. I think it is reasonable to expect that such an business would want to settle this without the hassle. I just want the damages to be covered.

The Manager and his staff have maintained my family’s automobiles for nearly 10 years which speaks for itself. The staff is attentive, courteous, and the few concerns I have experienced over the years were quickly rectified to my satisfaction. I highly recommend this shop for maintaining your vehicles finish: So much so that I regularly give Christmas Gift Certificates in the $ 200 range every year. You will be hard pressed to find another automatic auto wash and detail shop which provides the quality of service provided at such a reasonable price point: 5 Stars Here.
