When we walked in, there were NO this and NO that on signs at the maitre d’s stand. One of the things you’re not allowed is a «doggy bag». We walked right back out. Go to the one in Cary, if you get one bowl, you can take whatever you don’t eat home.

Excellent food served piping hot(of course). Tips: beef and crab meat are excellent, get TONS of shrimp as it cooks down to very tiny size. Use at least 3 scoops of sauce(or more) and ask them to add oil, teriyaki sauce, or soy sauce as they are cooking your bowl(or bowls). If you have any allergies let them know and they take extra care to be sure to protect you from contamination of your allergens.

Really if you’re looking to spend six or seven dollars on lunch meal then you are better off going down the street to Hibatchi Buffet. The bowls which they charge you by Are not even a practical size for lunch, no other regular place would give you that small of a portion and say u can fill it up, cuz still u can only put so much. So the food is just average Basic«no specific ethic» type. Its dark in there too. Save ur money and get the same offer at hibatchi buffet all you can eat! They do this same exact stir fry as much as you want.

I hate this place. For starters, it’s dingy(some might even say«dirty») and décor dated. The prices are high, and they have ridiculous rules that exacerbate this. The worst is the rule that you can not take uneaten food to go if dining in. If it’s all you can eat, I understand and agree, but at lunch(& other times), you pay by the bowl. If I paid for two bowls and can’t finish my meal, why not take it home? Every other restaurant allows this? If I was at a steakhouse and ordered two steaks, but only ate one… you see my point? Perhaps the most ridiculous rule is, with to go orders, if there is more than 50% meat in your bowl they will charge you double! And they employ a middle aged Asian woman who rivals The Soup Nazi in their enforcement. On the plus side, the food is good and cooks are nice. My wife likes to go there because she can load up on veggies, so I keep going back, but really hate the place; a rude nickel and dime gyp joint…

Excellent atmosphere and a great place to go eat if you’re looking for something different. The staff was extremely friendly, the cooks talked to you as they cooked your food and made sure to keep smiling the entire time. I loved the idea behind this restaurant and will definitely be back! I also highly recommend it to anyone looking for someplace a little different to eat at or just looking to have a fun dinner!

This place is nice, they have a decent selection, and the food was not bad but then again I made it. Issues to me were the prices. I typically do not like being nickle and dime. I went at lunch, They charged per the bowl, there was NO unlimited trips allowed at Lunch but I was not allowed to take what I did not eat home unless I wanted to pay again an additional charge. I even forgot to add something and was told that I would have to pay for another bowl to add cabbage to my meal. Nevermind, No thank you.

Our overall experience was okay. The fact that we were with family is what gets this place an extra star and the service was ok. They cook the meat and veggies together unless you tell them not too. Sometimes the meat gets under/over cooked because of the lack of understanding to separate the two. The grill cook uses the same wand to cook all food so those with allergies beware. The cook took the bowl after emptying the contents and threw it into a box on the floor that was visible. Yuck! White sauce is .50 a piece. No exceptions. The place is a bit run down as well.

The only way you can taste any of the sauces is to ladle spoons & spoons full of extremely watered down sauces. Only reason I came was I had a Groupon. It’s very easy to get cross contamination of the raw chicken to the sauces cause the ladle can hit the top of the chicken. I’m now scared my 10 yr old child will get salmonella:-( I won’t be back nor recommend.

Food was ok. Sometimes they dont cook it all the way. Other peoples meats and veggies get mixed in with your food so if you have allergies i would not recommend going here. The bar looks like its a storage area and the dividers, chairs and tables had dust caked on them.

This place looked very unkept and the service was not very good at all. I wanted sushi but I was told the no longer serve sushi. I was also really irritated that I purchased 1 lunch bowl and was not allowed to take home my left overs. I could understand if they dont allow you to box up unlimited buffet style, but I paid for 1 bowl and was told it was against policy and they no longer give out boxes. Absolutely ridiculous, I will not be returning.

This was not a high-level Mongolian grill, but it was a lot of fun and allowed for tons of options. For the newbies: It’s a create-your-own meal. Go to the food bar after being seated and take a bowl or two(I’d go with 2 at this particular place — the cooking took a long time here so you’ll not want to go up a lot of times). Fill your bowls with whatever you want — meats, seafoods, noodles, tofu, veggies, etc. Don’t be shy or try to impress others(i.e., don’t go crazy with broccoli and peppers to make it look healthy if that’s not what turns you on)! I like to go heavy on the noodles, shrimp, pork, pineapple, mushrooms, cabbage, onion, sprouts, zucchini, and crab. Don’t think that things won’t pair well together — they will. Throw it all in! After your raw selections are complete, go to the far end of the cooking line(not the middle, thinking that you’ll have some advantage). The chefs will find you and will do their best to keep you in order. They’ll continuously ask people to move down to keep the line in order. Grab chop sticks while up there, as only forks are provided on the tables. Tips: GOHUNGRY. DONOTGOON A FIRSTDATE. They have eggs here! Take a couple eggs and they’ll throw them in toward the end for some scrambled eggy goodness like you’re used to in fried rice. Yum! Skip the beef and chicken — both dry out easily on the grill since they cook things so long at this restaurant. Go around both sides of the buffet, or you may miss something fun(like the crab chunks, which were great). Overdo it on the sauce — it won’t water things down. The worst thing that will happen is that it will fall off the grill. You’ll want to pack in the flavor. Also overdo it on the flavorings from the stuff at the end of the bar. I went crazy on the ginger, garlic, and a couple of others, for a nice flavor punch. Sesame seeds are there — just look for a ketchup bottle. Other stuff: They only have one type of noodle here, which was a bummer. It takes a really long time for them to cook the dishes. Much longer than at other similar grills. WATCHYOURFOOD! They tried to give me someone else’s, which would have been really sad after waiting so long. They’ll ask you if you want«white or brown» rice after the food is cooked. They mean white or fried. Both are pretty good, although neither is memorable. They’re intended to fill you up so you don’t eat as many proteins. Feel free to turn it down if you want to focus on the other stuff. Feel free to ask for both if you like, and they’ll put a scoop of each on your plate. My second dish was somehow much spicier, and required soy sauce to be edible. I think someone else’s sauces got splashed into mine. That was kind of a bummer. I’ve been to much better Mongolian grills, but this place was really fun anyway. Not sure why they have«sushi» in the title — they do not have a menu. We had an AYCE lunch, so they must have recently changed their policies. Enjoy!

I wouldn’t call this fine dining in any way, but it is a lot of fun, especially when you’re hungry and craving a myriad of flavors. So many different combinations of meats, veggies, and flavors. I love all the options, and I enjoy watching the guys cook it on the huge, circular cooktop. This was my younger brother’s favorite place to go when we were younger, and I think it fostered our enjoyment of combining flavors to create something fun and new.

Staff was friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. But I got FOODPOISONING! This is the first time in 2 days that I’ve been able to sit upright again and I’m still throwing up if I drink water. They do a lousy job on Friday and Saturday nights, but the rest of the week was great and I’m going to miss going here, but I’d rather die than be this sick again.

While I used to love to come to this location with great prices and impeccable service it has unfortunately gone waay down hill over the past 6 months. They frequently«run out» of the more expensive items(white meat and seafood). I could understand on rare occasions but 2 out if the last 3 times I go no chicken or shrimp really. This location offers only Unlimited Bowls on the weekends, no to-go which is normal for an unlimited buffet style but M-F it’s 1 or 2 bowls instead of the unlimited and their new policy is no to-go!?! I’ve never heard of such nonsense. You’re not paying for unlimited, you’re paying per bowl how can you not offer Doggie bags. From now on I’ll head to the Crazy Fire on Buck Jones Road, where they offer to-go boxes on the food you PAIDFOR! In fact I’m headed there now :)

It’s Mongolian barbecue so you choose the items yourself. Only u to blame if you don’t like the taste. The choices are fresh and with the sauce selection you can make it spicy as you like. Are there better Mongolian BOQ places? Yes. Around here? no. It is possible to over eat. I suggest eat, wait ten minutes, decide if you want more.

Came here last night at 9:45 p.m. And they had doors, locked wtf? If u gonna close early, at least put on the door your hours are 9:30 not 10:00 p.m. It’s very rude and inconvenient.

Update: This place is no longer all you can eat. You are now given the option of one or two bowls. Considering I like vegetables that take up a lot of space, it takes two bowls just to make a one plate. In my experience, part of the appeal to a Mongolian style buffet is the seemingly endless flavor combinations you can come up with. So, if I can only have one plate, what is the point? I might as well go to a restaurant with a menu. At least then I wouldn’t feel pressured to tip the my waitress AND the cook*. It is a shame, because this was one of my favorite places to eat and stay on diet. *I regret some of the more hash criticism I levied against this place. I was disappointed at the change in their offering an all you can eat option. I understand it is becoming more difficult to offer due to increasing food costs. Everything else I liked about this place remains the same, so it is only right that I edit the previous childish temper tantrum I threw.

Not the best Mongolian BBQ I’ve had, but not bad. Good selection of meats, vegetables, and sauces. Small bowls and slow service though. Wish they would let you just take a number and bring the bowl to your table when it’s ready. Also would love to see the sesame flat bread I’ve gotten at other Mongolian places.
