They basically lied about vision insurance covering part of the cost. The sales rep assured that the insurance we had with Blue Cross was a preferred provider, and that we were covered. She told us to file it with the provider after our purchase. Turns out they are out of network and the provider refused. When we approached Lens Crafters, they refused to help because they didn’t know who was our sales rep. As if we would remember after a month. I am disgusted by their lack of professionalism.

The selection is Ok– nothing great. People are just Ok, too. Sometimes there is a wait to get someone to help you and I have never had anyone spend any time with me to help me pick something out. It is like self service. They are helpful but because it is so busy in there(at least it is on the weekends every time I go) they try to get you in and out. The prices are much better than my eye Dr. and they explain everything but you can tell they try to upsell you a bit. I appreciate getting my glasses in an hour. It is in and out and no frills or warm and fuzzy customer service. If you need adjustments they are nice about doing them when you go back.

Probably a bit understaffed as I’ve been here 3 times and always waited. Folks are nice but this store has the longest wait time I’ve experienced with any lenscrafer store

Takes a long time to see the doctors even if you have an appointment. Actually 1 hour over the scheduled appointment but Dr. Gordon is terrific. She really took time for me and also took time with my daughter making sure the prescription was correct. Lenscrafters is expensive but my opinion worth it.

I have been going to this Lens Crafters for years and the service there is always great. However, when I really needed them in a pinch they did everything they could to make sure I didn’t need to spend more money(my dog ate my glasses). Larry in particular has always gone above and beyond with helping me pick out my glasses, telling me about the warranty, and then helping me use it 9 months later when I needed it.

I have my prescription for my contact lenses from another LensCrafters in a different state. I travel a lot with my job and i run out of contacts so I decided to buy a 30days pack. I’ve done it before in Miami, FL without any problem. For some reason they have no access to LensCrafters database. No problem. I have a pdf file of my prescription on my phone. It was not enough for them they needed the actual paper copy of the prescription. Ok… The only way they could sell me contacts is that they receive a fax of my prescription from the LensCrafters where I had my eye exam. 30 min later still no fax. They finally agreed that the pdf prescription on my phone was ok only if I was able to print it. Guess what happen then??? They have no contacts in the store and I need to order them. I told them at the very beginning I was here for work and I was leaving the next day. They offered a week trial for $ 30(the price of the month package is $ 30) What a waste of time. This place is a joke.

The service was nice. Jason helped me pick out some frames, and got me set up with lenses. I’d rate him 5⁄5 stars. However, it took quite a long time for them to make the lenses. I was told«20 more minutes» several times. The store was packed and they only had two staff members. Unfortunately Jason wasn’t there when I went back, the rest of the staff wasn’t as nice. So if you are hoping to pick up your lenses same day, you should expect to wait well over two hours. I’ve removed stars for this reason.

Great team here! Very patient and helpful. This is my first time getting contacts and they have been extremely helpful getting me the right fit and showing me how to take the contacts in and out. Thanks so much! I highly recommend.

I hate going to any type of Doctor. My glass prescription is pretty minimal, but necessary for school. I really like how you can make an online appointment and fill out all insurance information prior to your arrival. When I arrived, because everything was filled out, I just had to sign an agreement. They took me right back. The doctor took her time with me and really made sure I was satisfied with my new prescription. Unlike other doctors in the past she did not push contact lenses on me and actually said that I didn’t need them. After I was handed my slightly changed prescription I went to the lens-fitting side. The sales associate helping me was generally friendly, but tried to push buying new frames on me – «really man, all I want are new lenses.» While you don’t get the intimate feel of a local doctor, this LensCrafters is quick and located in the mall; two major perks for me.

I visited Lenscrafters for the first time with my boyfriend, who needed to get new frames. The service was great. The man who helped us was amazing. He greeted us right away, was friendly, and very helpful. He showed us a variety of different lenses, and worked very hard to try to make us happy and find the right one. Once we decided on a pair he had us checked out quickly, and made sure we got all the discounts we could. He also adjusted my glasses for me even though I had not purchased them at a Lenscrafters. When I lived in Buffalo I had an optician that was only in Buffalo, so once I need an eye exam again I will definitely be going to Lenscrafters. They have a great selection of frames and great service. My boyfriend also said that his appointment went well and the doctor was great. If you need contacts or glasses, head to Lenscrafters!
