Great pub. Awesome courtyard that you wouldn’t expect but you have to check it out. Good taps for any beer drinker and great cocktail pours. Any soccer match on TV can be seen here, even early am matches. Check it out at least three or four times.

20 dollars for two bottom shelf red bull vodkas is not worth it to me. The patio was pretty nice, but other than that we won’t be back.

Stopped here during an afternoon bar crawl as visitors to Downtown Raleigh. The Union Jack flying outside caught my eye and I made the group go in. The owner is really from England and the staff knows soccer. Our bartender Joey was rough and blunt and we loved it. Really enjoyed talking with the owners and staff on a Friday afternoon.

Upon entrance to LBP I was greeted by two properly dress Minotaurs who at once hoisted me on their shoulders and took me into this mystical pub. During my stay I was spoiled by the finest of man meats south of the Mason Dixon line. Upon finishing my second drink, a chimpanzee wearing only a bow tie descended from a hole in the ceiling and thanked me for my patronage. Or maybe I just got really turnt from all the rumplemintz and imagined the whole thing… whichever the case may be… Hell of a place.

Only one star due to the fact the blonde headed server said that I wouldn’t be served again due to the fact I didn’t tip 20% on my first order of one drink and a few shots! Wow what bar doesn’t serve drinks because the tip wasn’t good I mean damn! We had a group of 10+ friends. The owners should fire the bartender this is ridiculous. I own a bar and have never stopped serving someone because of their tip!!! This bar is a fail. Please do not waste your money here.

A «football bar» in Raleigh ?! Yes please. My husband and I are soccer fans, and lets just say the London Bridge Pub lets us enjoy booze and sports, and banter with other fans. A good afternoon joint to watch some soccer, and a great night spot for a shot or 3. Check em’ out. They seem to support anyone who loves to watch the sport. No team is secluded ;) Decent prices, and staff that can handle volume. Give em’ a try.

Fantastic venue to watch Football(Soccer). Kid friendly, backyard patio and reasonably priced drinks. The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is that there is no kitchen, so you have to bring food in from elsewhere. That said, they are food friendly from the outside and so many good spots are just up the street/around the corner.

I can’t remember the girl’s name who was bartending, but she was hot and made a good double Hendricks. Thanks hot bartender.

Great atmosphere and outdoor space. Staff is friendly, polite and always smiling. Drinks were also great. Had a great time with my baby. Next time where in town we will definitely stop back in.

Terrible experience here. I went in excited after a trip to London, and seemed to get completely ignored at the bar. Eventually I had to ask someone for a beer, and they acted as if I’d asked for their first born child. I like the look of the place and the location, but it’s THE worst service I’ve had in downtown Raleigh.

Had my very first beer in North Carolina here. I gotta say it set the precedent for what would be a great few days of great beer. I had a Foothills IPA. The place is very cool and looks like it would be packed on weekends. They have a great back patio as well. And how could you not love the Christopher Walk In fridge!!? Go, have a beer, and ENJOY!!!

London bridge is my absolute favorite spot on Friday and Saturday nights! The staff is always super friendly and goes out of their way for their regular patrons. If you are a young professional in DT Raleigh looking for a place to have a good night with good music and awesome(not expensive) drinks, come to London bridge!

I tried to order a standard white russian cocktail and we were informed that they did not have the ingredients to make it. Like are you kidding me? And they did not have it on a SATURDAY night. We went to the area out back and people constantly blew smoke on us. Smoke is not cool. Those two things combined we left about 30 minutes after arriving.

This pub is pretty cool. It has a bar with beers and booze which is always a great start. The back patio is nice and the inside looks fairly up to date and clean and what not. The bartenders seem to do the best they can even though they seem perpetually out gunned… The downside that I just can’t seem to get past is the overall layout. It feels like if you get more than 40 people in here you had better be comfortable where you are sitting/standing because the place is so narrow getting from one spot to another can feel like a chore. That leads to another problem, the narrowest part of the bar is where the only two bathrooms are located. So not only will you have people jousting to get in or out or trying to order their drinks you will also have a line of anxious people waiting to use the bathroom to contend with. I’d go here on a lazy weekend afternoon but anything else would just be too much.

Great pub on Hargett Street for a good selection of drafts and wonderful selection of places to sit to drink(bar with tvs, tables or great outdoor patio complete with comfy seats, pretty plants and festive lighting.) Overall, a good alternative downtown for adults wanting a drink indoors or outdoors without the strollers and crybabies.

I have been here twice, once for my 21st a couple of years ago and recently on a Saturday for a friend’s 21st. Usually not one of the most crowded bars, which is nice, and they have a pleasant outdoor area which is great! The bartenders are happy to make a special birthday drink as well.

The bartenders and the staff are very friendly, and you can always find some cool people at this bar… Definitely will keep you informed about the Soccer scene, but also the more American sports of Basketball and Football. And The Paws event is very cool, and it’s really fun watching the Dogs have a run of the place… eee

In my wilder, younger, could-stay-up-later-and-three-beers-didn’t-equal-a hangover days, London Bridge is a bar I would end the night at. Why? Because it was the end point of a downward spiral progression of standards as we worked our way down Wilmington Street. We would start at Fox’s Liquor(because they are awesome) and have one drink(because they are expensive) then move on down to Busy Bee or maybe the Hive if we wanted to dance. Next stop, Raleigh Times for beers and snacks. Landmark comes next because for some reason at this point we want a packed bar and a beautiful patio with no available seats. Finally, the last stop of the night — stumble in to London Bridge. This is a long, narrow bar that is perpetually packed on weekend nights. They don’t serve food and don’t have any unique drinks or specialties. There is one bathroom per gender and the lines will be long. They have a fabulous, huge outdoor seating area in the back with tons of picnic tables and a few high tops — this is the hidden gem of London Bridge. You can’t see the backyard from the street, but I would venture to say the square footage is actually larger than the inside of the bar. I probably got one drink here between 1am and last call, then jumped in a cab and forgot I even visited. Fast forward to the later half of my 20s and this is one of my favorite spots downtown, but only on the 4th Thursday night of each month. Why? Because Pints 4 Paws Pub Night, a charity event benefiting Cause for Paws, is held here. This is the PERFECT venue to host a dog friendly event. By the middle of the event, there are dogs everywhere — inside, outside, playing in the dirt out back, wrestling under the bar stools. I LOVE how dog friendly this place is. I attend every month and I think I may love it more than my weenie dog does. I can sit, drink a beer and chat with new dog-loving friends while my little guy plays his little heart out. Their beer selection is fine and the bartenders are dog lovers too, which I think makes them a little extra friendly. They provide free pizza and host a raffle and a cutest dog contest(where you can win a bar tab!). If you’re like me and wrote London Bridge off as a 21 year old’s paradise for Friday and Saturday nights, try coming by on a Thursday when we’re having a big old dog party. Gives you an entirely new perspective and gave me a new found love for London Bridge!

One of my favorite downtown bars. Inside has great music and rarely a line to get in. The outside deck area is great for a more relaxed atmosphere with plenty of tables and standing room. Beware 2 things–(1) the bathroom lines. The inside bathrooms are co-ed and the line gets ridiculous.(2) Stick with liquor or beer here. I like wine and ordered that once– bottles had definitely been opened for awhile so didn’t taste the best.

London Bridge is one place you can find me just about every weekend. The bouncer at the door is so nice and welcoming. The music is fantastic, people here love to dance, and there is a place to escape when you don’t want to dance to either the front or back patio. That to me, is the perfect recipe for the night out. I do have a couple grievances for this place. As many have mentioned in their reviews, there are only two bathrooms for everyone to share. The line can get quite out of control. So knowing you need to get in line before the situation gets dire is crucial. My final grievance, which I have seen other people mention is with the bartenders and getting water. Between my friends and I, I would say we spend at least $ 100 per night or more if we get«shot happy». I had one unpleasant incident where the bartender purposefully ignored me when trying to get water and after 10 minutes or so, I asked while he walked by ignoring me for a cup, which he tossed across the bar at me… really? Anyways, I then took a couple weeks off from this place. I do believe they now don’t serve tap water as I have seen the appearance of bottled water. Overall, I love to dance, I like friendly staff, and I enjoy beverages and water.
