We found this when driving in an unfamiliar area! And what a find! The food was great and very reasonably priced! They have a very large Asian menu, so every one should be satisfied! I had a spicy Koran dish with chicken, another in our group also had a chicken based dish and one had a beef based dish! The Meat was prepared to perfection as we’re the noodle, rice and vegetables! Next time we are in that area, this restaurant will receive top consideration for another meal!

This was my first time eating at a Pei Wei. I ordered crab wantons and honey chicken. It was really good. I wish they offered more veges. I guess to make me feel better my fried rice had broccoli and carrots and a few others sprinkled about.

We stopped in for a late lunch at the Brier Creek Pei Wei. We had the Pad Thai and the Dan Dan Noodles. I have been to Pei Wei many times and each time I have ordered the Dan Dan Noodles, every time has been very good, this time was the best I have ever had. I love multi item beverage dispenser. The only negative is that each time the person working the register was less than friendly.

Have ordered the pad thai there twice. The first time was tolerable but the food I just ate was less pad thai and more like barbecue noodle soup. It was like someone mixed watered down KC Masterpiece with Siracha and dumped some noodles in it. The chicken tasted frozen and it was the second time they didn’t have any bean sprouts. On top of that their tea was so diluted with sugar water you could barely tell it was tea. That being said the service was good there so points for that.

I always have mixed reviews when I eat here. I do honestly love the food, but I have a problem with how dirty they are. I just get my food to go now and not think about if the kitchen is as dirty as the dining room.

It was my first time there and my sister and I really liked it. The ambiance was average, Sunday evening was pretty crowded. Waiters were friendly and kind. The food didn’t take that long to arrive. Prices were reasonable. The«regular» size is a pretty big serving, I brought home almost half of it. I’d recommend this place for Asian fusion, Thai influenced food. Lots of flavor and many choices to order from.

15 minutes standing at the register waiting for someone to take our order. Only 2 other customers in the place, and they already have their food. Not sure what the problem was, they seem adequately staffed. The 2 guys behind us got tired of what and left. We mentioned that to the young girl that finally took our order, and she didn’t seem bothered. Maybe used to it? The food was good enough but after that initial impression it hardly mattered.

Walked in a few minutes before 9:00 and they said they couldn’t prepare anything to go. Said it would take 30 minutes. Be sure to get there 30 minutes before they close or you won’t get food.

Um this is Chinese food? What? I got all giddy when I found out that Pei Wei offers dan dan noodles because I love me some dan dan noodles. Yes, I knew this was a chain, but I still had high-ish hopes. Pei Wei is pretty popular and that was absolutely confirmed right when I walked through the doors. Granted I did show up at around noon, so it was the lunch crowd, but boy was it a BIG lunch crowd. This place is packed! Tip: some people park outside the lot, along the curb, so be prepared to do so if you don’t find parking! Ok, so after waiting in line to order for awhile, I get to the front, only to find out they have a SEPARATE side for take-away orders! aka I could’ve skipped the huge line this whole time! Dang it. Sort of wish it was more apparent because I totally didn’t see the other cash register for take-away. Anyways, of course I ordered the dandan noodles, only to be caught off guard when the cashier asks me if I want beef, shrimp, or chicken. Okay… what. I’m pretty sure that dan dan noodles are almost always made with minced pork. and at pei wei, pork wasn’t even an option. so yeah. This was my 1st red flag that I was in for a VERY different version of dan dan noodles. They hand you beepers as you wait for your order and I did get my food very quickly, and it was very hot and fresh, so stars for that. I drive home and take a bite at my BEEF dan dan noodles, and lo and behold… it is just lo mein. Literally lo mein noodles. not even rice noodles! and the beef? They didn’t even TRY to make it look like dan dan noodles and mince it – you get big, thick, pieces of meat. There is no flavor of chili oil OR szechuan peppers, and I was left miserably trying to finish this lo mein masquerading as dan dan noodles. I will say, Pei Wei is very generous with their portions, so you’ll most definitely have leftovers. In this case, I didn’t even want said leftovers… Oh, but their snickerdoodle cookie is very yum!(yes, because a snickerdoodle cookie is SO authentic chinese food right? ha.)

Came here with the girlfriend after hearing friends raving about this place. Honestly, like PF Chang’s, I just don’t understand what all the fuss is all about. We ordered the chicken lettuce wraps, and each ordered a chicken entrée and a drink. I got the sesame chicken, which came with far too many undercooked peppers and she ordered some honey chicken dish. I was surprised that the ‘small’ portion wasn’t all that much smaller than the ‘regular’ portion. Definitely not authentic Asian cuisine, but like it’s big brother PF Chang’s, it’s more like Asian Fusion. Food was pretty good. The service was mediocre — I feel like my server didn’t really want to be there, but the lady who picked up our plates was super nice. Anyway, the bill came out to $ 28 which I felt was a lot for a casual lunch for 2. Not a good value for the quality and quantity of food. Another thing worth mentioning is that the parking is less than desirable. The parking lot is tiny and a pain to get in and out of when it’s busy. With so many great places to eat in the Brier Creek area, I really don’t see myself returning anytime soon.

I would give Pei Wei 3.5 stars if I could, but I’m rounding up. For those who don’t know, Pei Wei is the no-server version of P.F. Chang’s. So if you want food from P.F. Chang’s, but don’t want to bother with a server or you want some cheaper dishes, then check out Pei Wei. The menu is a little more limited, but they have enough variety for everyone to find something they like. I went for a quick lunch with some co-workers, but we came during prime lunch time so we had to wait in line for awhile to order our food. Once we did place our orders, our food came out quickly. Pei Wei does have one of the fancy soda machines where you can pick different flavored sodas, like Vanilla-Cherry Coke or Raspberry Sprite, etc. I ordered the Thai Chicken Lettuce Wraps, which were yummy. Not the most authentic Asian food, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t taste good. My food came out very hot and they were not stingy with the portions, so I was able to take leftovers home. My co-workers were not able to finish their rice plates either, so it really is a good deal. The restaurant is clean and there is a good amount of seating. It could be tricky to find a spot for a big party if you come during the most crowded time. They do have a little bit of outdoor seating, but most of those tables could only fit 2 people. Overall, Pei Wei is a good lunch spot, with decent prices and I will be back for more yummy lettuce wraps!

Fail. Lukewarm noodles, hot broccoli, and cold tofu. All time worst place I’ve eaten at in ages. Next time I’ll just burn a 10 dollar bill. Less painful. More satisfying.

Oh how the mighty have fallen. Not sure how, why, or when it started. I won’t eat here anymore though. Nothing is as good as it was but you can bet the prices have gone up. PW used to be one of my favorite restaurants too AND I moved. I’m closer than I ever was and now have no desire to go. Nothing good ever lasts.

Stopped by Pei Wei for a quick bite to eat with my boyfriend before a meeting. We split an order of the Crab Wontons which are always a solid choice. I wanted to try something new so the cashier recommended the Caramel chicken with brown rice and it was good, I will stick to my usual the next time which is the Honey Seared chicken. My boyfriend got the Chicken Fried Rice and enjoyed it. The service was a bit slow this time which surprised me since they were not that busy.

We come here every couple of months and I have never been wowed by there food. I normally just grt the lettuce wraps, which are a little on the salty side. Tonight I tried the teriyaki crunch roll. It was very disappointing. It hardly resembled the picture on the menu & it looked like there was no teriyaki sauce on it at all. The only reason I gave 3 stars instead of 2(or 1) is because my daughters & husband enjoyed their food.

The menu isn’t huge like at a typical chinese food restaurant, but they have all the goodies here and everything is indeed quite good. Was busy here on a Friday night, but service was still prompt and all the staff was friendly and courteous all-around.

They offer two sizes and surprisingly, the quantity looked the same to us. The hubs Sesame tasted good and so did my Kung Pao but a little too salty for my taste. My only suggestion, you really need to spend some time to explore their menu. Some of the dishes might not taste the way you’d expect them to be but that doesn’t make them any less tasty. I believe, the more you eat there, the fonder you grow of this place.

Great food. When they say fast, they really mean fast! I barley had time to sit down before the brought out my food. Absolutely terrific!

I usually go to a different location, but on my way back to Raleigh from Durham, hungry for an early weekday lunch, I remembered this Pei Wei in Brier Creek and score! they were open before 11:30! Greeted warmly, asked if I needed help, if I had been there before, etc. I knew my Pei Wei ropes(thanks to another location), but had to narrow down my selection from so many good choices. Went with one of my old faves… the small Pei Wei Spicy with Shrimp, added extra veggies for 99 cents, with brown rice, took my number and plastic cup, found a seat and filled my glass with their good unsweetened tea. Loved that this place was clean and shiny, that my food arrived hot and tasty. Shrimp perfectly cooked, veggies a bit on the under-cooked side(even for me), but with a butter knife I cut them up and they made for a nice crunch. The onions and fresh garlic added to the full-flavor profile of the already spicy sauce. By the time I left from my early lunch, this place was(understandably) pretty full, so it pays to go early!

Mid-priced Pan-Asian chain which offers a consistently good product and serves as a good alternative to the independent American Chinese places found in strip malls and food courts. Expect about a ten to fifteen minute wait after ordering, but you can order online if you are getting take out. Another bonus with ordering online is the ability to increase/decrease the amount of ingredients which come with the dish. Extra snow peas and no bean sprouts? Much easier to add these customizations when you are given the options and plug in the order yourself. I like the food here. It’s like PF Changs — Asian food for the American palette and for those to are skeptical of small independent shops and who appreciate consistent décor. They aren’t using ingredients or serving dishes that have yet to become commonplace. Pad Thai = Yes. Larb = Maybe in ten years or after a closely monitored trial run in one or two markets. Many of the dishes run on the sweet side which probably makes them even more appealing to me. I don’t mean the stuff thats usually sweet, like sesame chicken, rather it seems a spoonful of brown sugar gets put in everything. Also, they use pressed tofu which is a good intro or reintroduction to tofu for those who don’t like it, as pressed tofu has a much chewier and meatier texture. My big gripe is that they don’t have enough veggies in the dishes. Serving sizes seem small because of this, but the portions of protein seem to be on par with what’s expected from any restaurant. I’d like to fill up on veggies instead of ordering a second item and would be willing to pay more to have them triple the amount of veggies on the single entrée I’ve ordered. Worth visiting irregularly when you simply want to ensure there’s some variety in your lunch or dinner when eating out. Highly recommend ordering online for take out.
