Very disappointing, I have visited Firehouse subs in multiple states and this by far is the worst. I ordered a Large New York Steamer sub and the location put a little more than half the meat you normally get at other locations(my favorite location so far has been North Florida 5 Stars). There were only 2 people ahead of me in line yet it took 12 minutes for them to get my order. They handed my sub to me shortly(3 – 5 minutes) after placing the order but after eating it I can see why, there was very little meat on it and I am still hungry! Not what you would expect for $ 9.48(that was the sub only price to go). Also very difficult to find a spot to park in the center, cars for this center were parked all over the side of the road making it difficult to even enter the shopping center.

I was craving a hot sub and decided to swing by firehouse subs ! It’s located next to the pei Wei in brier creek. I decided upon the New York steamer? Fully involved with no lettuce or tomato. It was beef, pastrami, melted cheese, and Italian dressing. Pros: My sandwich was amazing. Just what I wanted. They made my order quickly. The staff was nice. Cons: the location was sort of gross. They had no caps for the drinks and there was garbage everywhere. I enjoyed my food and I will probably eat again but at the Cary location.

I have never been a big fan of Firehouse subs, but my husband is so we eat here occasionally. Each time we’ve been to this location, the service has been slow and there seemed to be more hanging out and socializing going on than making subs. Most recently, my husband called in an order because we were on that side of town and he wanted to pick it up on the way home. We live a good 30 minutes away so we were very displeased to find that when we got home BOTH of our subs were incorrect. It’s not like we could go back and get it fixed. We both wanted our sandwiches pretty plain and basic– meat, cheese, and condiment. Instead they were piled high with a lot of extras. It was so much and so melded together that we threw both sandwiches away– what a waste!

good place for a quick lunch. their subs are decent and portions are good(a med size sub is plenty). I do like that they serve hot subs in addition to cold ones. The restaurant is clean, but a bit cramped with all the tables inside. Also, they heavily market the fact that they have a coca-cola freestyle machine, but I prefer the old school fountain drinks. They never taste like they’re supposed to out of the freestyle machine in my opinion(the syrup to bubble ratio is always off).

I have been to this @FirehouseSubs about three times. My boys enjoy eating at Firehouse. I personally think the best sub is the #10 Beef n Cheddar Brisket. It’s soo tasty. On your birthday if you go in they will give you a free sub. There is no coupon required, but they might ask for your ID. The staff is friendly, and the food was hot and fresh. They do have one of the Coke Freestyle machines also. #291

Food good but service slow. Tables all dirty. After I asked for table to be cleaned, it still wasn’t done until our food came and we asked a second time. Excuse was that lunch crew didn’t clean… REALLY??? It’s 7:00pm! And, they didn’t bother to clean the other tables. Owner needs to train these young people on how to run this place.

Ordered the steak and cheese. Got something that wasn’t that. The sandwich is advertised as having«steak, melted provolone, sautéed peppers and onions, mayo and deli mustard». What I got was a piece of bread with meat and some kind of gooey white cheese on it. No peppers and onions, no mayo, no deli mustard. The kids working here were all having a real good time. They weren’t fixing good product. Last time I’ll come in. Waste of money.

These guys are fantastic. I know the food is all pretty much the same from location to location but the staff here is always friendly and they never forget my pickle!

Favorite place to stop for lunch. all the hot subs are delicious and the owner is awesome! They have those cool coke machines with a million flavors too. If you’re looking for quality subs this is the best place around brier creek.

We love Firehouse subs, but this location is probably the worse I’ve been too. The staff rarely gives you the«Welcome to Firehouse» greeting when you walk in the door. There’s usually teenagers behind the counter cussing and talking about inappropriate things. We were there this weekend and almost every drink in the soda machine was out of order also, except there was 6 people behind the counter having social hour instead! Food is great but the environment ruins it. We decided to just head to Cary location instead.

The subs are good — standard firehouse subs, which are good. The customer service is subpar, though, for a firehouse. Have been there over 10 times, and nearly every time, it seems that the employees are very aloof, slow, and not very friendly. No greeting, no ‘thank you’, and no smiles. I think an increased owner presence or supervision may be beneficial…

Recently went to Firehouse Subs for a Friday lunch. It was not too crowded but service was unnecessarily slow as the staff preparing the sandwiches were more interested in chatting and joking around with one another than they were with working. This crew would never make it as actual Firemen as the burning house would be gone up in smoke long before they got there. By the way, the pork and cole slaw sandwich was dry. They did not include any sauce with my takeout and had to add my own when I got home.

5 Stars on my Italian Sub. Creamy, juicy, and savory. It made my day. It was worth finding on our gps although we had a time finding it. The guy manager was helpful and friendly. I like that this place has over 20 hot sauces to try.

I’d never heard of Firehouse Subs, but I’ll tell you a secret about them. If you go to their website, enter your birth date and other information they promise to send you a coupon for a free medium sub. Well, they sent me one for my birthday this year. It came a little late after my birthday, but I’ve been holding onto it for a convenient time to use it. Last night I was in Brier Creek so after a study session I dropped by to get myself a sandwich. Bright red with firehouse and firefighter décor from the walls to the condiments to the theme of the subs! How fun! I walked in and they greeted me, «Welcome to Firehouse!» Why thank you, I thought. I picked out a number 5 Italian Sub and accepted the offer for it to be slightly«involved.» An involved sub means that it has lettuce, tomato, mustard, and mayo on it. It might have onions too, but I’m not positive. I’m kinda plain so I just stuck with the mustard and mayo. I went ahead to make it a combo with the chips and drink which would cost about $ 7 or 8, but my coupon made it $ 2.81. What a deal! Normally I’d grab my sandwich and go, but there weren’t too many people and the guys working there were so kind so I thought I’d stay. I’m all about welcoming people and making them feel good, so it’s nice for others to do the same. It makes you feel like you belong, which is why I found a corner to set my books down and pull out my laptop. Not too long later one of the young men in there who’d made my sub brought me my food. I was surprised and apologized for not coming to get it, but he said, «No, I figured I’d bring it to you since you’re keeping us company in here tonight.» Served with a smile. :) My sub was cut neatly in half and was made perfectly. Just the right ratio of mayo, mustard, Italian dressing with the ham, proscuitto, provolone, and whatever else of Italian meaty goodness was on there that I lost track of. Not too long after that the gentleman who must have been the shift manager came in. I’d called before coming to ask if they had wireless internet. He asked if I was the one who called and when I was responded yes he asked if I could access it. I told him that no it wasn’t working, but that was okay. He apologized for it not working properly and I reassured him that I’d probably work better without it for now. The third gentleman, who had taken my order, was now cleaning up and paused to say to me…“oh, Happy Birthday by the way.” He’d read the card I’d brought in. How kind. I didn’t have the heart to tell him that I’d been holding onto this card since mid June and my birthday was almost 4 months ago. All 3 of these young men were so very kind, diligent, welcoming, and such attentive individuals. I don’t live too close so I don’t see myself going there too often out of convenience, but what a great experience I had. Very genuine. A man was waiting with his little daughter for her food and they were talking about how she could be a firefighter even if her Dad didn’t want to be one. The same gentleman who brought me my food brought her a firefighter hat and she smiled. Then after the father and daughter left he noticed my smile and said, «wasn’t she just the cutest?» I said, «Yes, she was.» There was such character and there were all kinds of interactions that I observed while working and eating in there for an hour. I will say that it’s a little higher priced than your regular old Subway, and I don’t think there’s a million of them. They’re open everyday from 10:30am until 9pm. The sign on the door said it was founded by firefighters in 1994. Again, so neat and how fun is that?
