Very impressive store with incredible pieces and high quality craftsmanship. I called the store and spoke with Chandra who assisted me when I arrived. I was looking for a dresser and they had 7 or 8 different styles, I picked the one I wanted and applied for the 24 month financing, which I qualified without any issues. I got my dresser in about 5 – 6 weeks, earlier than expected. The build quality, color and fit & finish are second to none. The dark finish even matches my existing bed frame. The delivery company brought it over and carried it into my bedroom. I will be back.

I felt like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman walking into that store… I’m having to convince them that because I’m not a snob, I actually do have money to spend in the store. the young blonde lady in there was supposed to text me for my appointment. This hasn’t happened. When you walk into a store and tell them you need a lot of furniture and they make commission… I would be all over that. not these people… oh well. guess I will go somewhere else…

I purchased the portofino couch from Thomasville at the beginning of 2013 so I have owned it for a little over a year now and absolutely love this couch. The sales rep that I purchased it from was very helpful and assisted me in finding the right colors that matched my living room color scheme. She overcharged me for a different tax rate but then ended up refunding the difference when I pointed it out. If you want to buy a quality product that will last for a very long time, you need to buy from a quality retailer. The Ashley couch you buy may be a bit cheaper, but will cost you more in the long run as you replace it multiple times because it will be slouchy after 5 years. Their products are made from Wood, not fiberboard, plastic, or cheap plywood. Their fabrics are sturdy, and overall the price reflects the quality product that you will receive. I am going to purchase the matching loveseat now. Thanks for building quality products!

I also had a bad experience with the quality and customer service. I Bought a dining table and the sales person told me that it was solid wood. It turns out she was incorrect. At this point I had already ordered the table so I kept the order. I was also convinced to buy the Guardsman extra warranty against scratches and marks. I was very careful with the table and used it rarely. I noticed some marks on table, so I called it in to Guardsman. I then sent in all the paperwork including a sketch. I later received an e-mail asking for further follow up. That e-mail also stated that if I did not reach them back by a certain date my claim was VOID. I missed the date, so they informed that I could not move forward on the claim. I spoke to managers and sent letters, but to no avail. I will never buy from them again!!!

09/14/2011 I did not have a good experience with the sales and management team at this store. I spent over $ 4000 on a dining room set that sits 4 people. I’m not completely unhappy with the furniture — but it was such a bad experience I’m just sorry I purchased it. Here is my advice: –Make sure that you see what you are purchasing before it is delivered to your house. Don’t let them give you any excuses. Walk out if they cannot provide an example. -«Oh good it’s in stock» … means 5 weeks before in your house. –Thomasville, Drexell, etc means Made in China. –Once you have purchased the item, if you are not happy you can return the item. The restock fee is 40% of the purchase price. And I’m talking about something out of their catalog not custom made. –If you are not happy with the item when it arrives — make them put it back on the truck. Refuse delivery. Do not sign their form that you are unhappy. –Appeared the 40% off sale price is good any day. –Make sure they get their money. Happy or not — they expect your credit card number and they will spend most of their time asking for the money. Here is the best part … the reason they cannot give good customer service(this is a quote from salesperson) «Thomasville is an international company. [Local furniture vendor] cares more about their reputation in the community.» Unbelievable!
