The owner is older and very friendly; she even invited a kid in a stroller into the store and handed him a stuffed bear to entertain himself with. Since I figured the kid was probably more of a hazard to the breakables than me, I ventured in behind. This place is shelved to the gills. There was a sale going on the day I went, so women were digging through piles of embroidered napkins and other things I don’t yet have a use for. Some beautiful table-top and glassware to be sure, but mostly I felt like I had to be careful not to knock over any of the pretties with my purse. The one thing I felt safe enough to finger was the shelf of pastel-colored wallets, change purses, and passport covers. A nice store for those whose income and lifestyle allow for it.
