I had a good experience here buying new running shoes. The sales associate was able to cut through my rambling to recommend a new style of shoe that I think works a lot better with my running style. That said, it is a small shop that is a bit limited in shoes that they stock, but you can definitely get an opinion about your running, if that’s what you’re looking for.

Just stopped in to shop a little and I really liked this running store. It has more of a ‘mom and pop shop’ feel to it. They don’t appear to have a insanely huge selection of running shoes but they seem to have everything a person would want. Also, the sales guy who helped us was very friendly and knowledgable… They also have loads of running foods/​supplements/​goos. I’m looking forward to heading back to this place sometime.
Oh yah, they seem to run sales on shoes for $ 50. Not sure if they are old or out of style or what the deal is but it’s a deal all the same.

RRO has always been a great place for me to get running shoes. Five years ago when I started running, they did a gait analysis and provided a recommendation. I have tried several different pairs of shoes since then, but I always keep coming back to the first pair they recommended. They always match the lowest price I find online and they have always been good about returning shoes that just didn’t work out after a few long runs.
They don’t carry a ton of different colors, but I usually don’t care about the color as much as how they feel.

When I walked in, I was directed to one of their available associates. I mentioned to her that I was having shin trouble and immediately she pointed me to a certain type of shoe and asked which ones I wanted to try on. I told her that I really had no idea what I was doing and I was hoping for a some thorough help. She had me walk up and down the hall in barefeet and then got me a few pairs. After I tried a few on, we determined that I had wide feet and she started getting me pairs that were nothing like the original ones we thought would be best.
All in all, I felt like she was trying to rush me out of the store without really giving me the proper attention.

So, I decided to return the shoes because they are ugly and I’m not convinced they are the right shoe for me. After all, she brought out every pair she had until one felt okay and then sold it to me. She clearly wanted to sell me a pair of shoes, not help me find the best shoe for me.
The gal that sold the shoes to me was completely rude when I came in to return them (shocker). She had the nerve to say they may not be able to take them because there were little sock fuzzies in the inside by the heel. Funny, because she sold them to me that way. The only time I had the shoes on was in the store when I bought them. Thank GOD a nice guy was there and he told her to process the return. Wish he had been available when I came to buy shoes the first time. He seemed like he had some sense, and was friendly. Definitely won’t be back :(

When I told my husband I needed a pair of running shoes he searched for a place where I could get a gait analysis, and this was the place. We drove 2hrs and it was worth it! The workers were very helpful and nice, I got to find the shoe that fits me, and best of all, they give the best military discount! :)
