No gluten free menu??? They have to be kidding me! They handed me a complicated allergen chart that made my eyes swim to decipher what was gluten free. Otherwise I like this place… But come on!!! It’s important to allow us to feel like us gluten allergen people feel like WE can have a dining menu as well!!! At LEAST identify within the menu — a gluten free symbol!

We visited this location on May 6, 2016 and Sherry turned what started out as a disaster into an evening to remember! I had called earlier that day to reserve space for 15 people for my son’s birthday dinner. The man named Dave that answered the phone assured me that though they did not take reservations, he would note for the front staff to be expecting us around 7 pm. When I arrived, you guessed it, no one knew what I was talking about. The hostesses did acknowledge that Dave was there earlier, however, he was gone for the day and they had no room to accommodate a party of 15. I was starting to panic, since the guests were arriving. I was thinking«I am going to have to relocate 15 hungry people at 7 pm in Raleigh, NC on a Friday night!» I took a deep breath and pulled Sherry to the side and explained that this was not only a celebration for my son’s birthday, but a celebration of his life. On April 23. 2016, he had a heart attack and had 7 hours of open heart surgery on April 27, 2016 and on May 6, 2016 he turned 30. She understood immediately and not only did she«create» a great spot for us to sit, she comped us an appetizer! She is a superstar! The food was great also! The only reason I didn’t give this visit a 5 star rating is because our server was a little unfriendly, when she got confused with the checks. Keep up the awesome customer service Sherry!

The food at this red lobster is exceptional. I go there a couple times a week and every meal is picture perfect. The maine lobster is always buttery sweet and the garlic grilled shrimp is always cooked to perfection. I also love to have the grilled Atlantic Salmon it has that flavor that you can only get from a wood grill flame. Also there seasonal vegetables are on point for a side dish. Right now they have grilled zucchini and squash. It is spectacular. I can not say enough about this place. I should probably get a job there just for the discount.

Three times and three bad visits. We got 3 gift certificates from the corporate office. The décor is nice. A lot of nice items to choose from at moderate prices. The first visit the french fries were salty, the second visit the fries were cold, and the last visit the fries were half the normal portion size. The hamburgers were had bad three times. First time it was halfway cooked, 2nd time it was rare when we ordered medium, and third time it had a lot of seasoning in it. The same employees wait on us. The three times and not good service. The hostess and waitress same behavior. Ran away when saw us, walk away in the middle of wait on us and not come back, talk back rude, rush to get rid of us, yell and interrupt, eat food while wait on us, repeat the same questions. Hostess threw the menu on the table. The plates are big. And full of food. The waitress not want to write down the order. Said not her job. And we had to ask her to do her job. She got angry at us not a tip and got angry we not spend much money. She gave us water and iced tea each. And she put ¾ ice in the beverages, each glass. Gave us food and ask us if we need anything more. And when came to the table. Tried to run away each time quickly. Parking is a small lot.

Excellent Entrees? Check Fresh Cheddar Bay Biscuits? Check Attentive Customer Service? Check LOBSTER? Double Freakin’ Check I mean it is a Red Lobster so you know you’re going to be getting some pretty good food, despite it being a big-chain restaurant. I had the NY strip steak with a generous lobster tail. I was also given like 7 freakin’ cheddar bay biscuits to take home and devour. I gotta say I left as a pretty dang happy customer.

Since I had a $ 50 gift card I decided to use it during Lobster fest. Came to this location as it was the closest one from my house. The outside of the building is older looking and not particularly inviting. Once inside you can tell this place has been around for a while. The smell of the inside was of a wet smell, like the carpets hadn’t completely dried. The seating area was dark and not so inviting neither. Once seated we looked over the menu and quickly decided what to have. After our waitress took our drink and food order, we waited around only about 10 – 15 minutes before our food was brought out. I ordered the Lobster tacos as I had seen an advertisement highlighting them and they looked so good. When they were brought out, they looked amazing. Taste was good, but wasn’t as good as I was expecting them. Lobster was a little overcooked and there wasn’t enough dressing on the tacos. Overall I’d give them a 7 out of 10 on the overall quality of the tacos. My guest got the dueling lobster tails dish. Which is a roasted Maine lobster tail stuffed with lobster mac-n-cheese, paired with two split lobster tail with a seafood stuffing. Served with mashed potatoes and green beans. The dish was large and they weren’t able to finish it. Too much lobster tail for one person to eat. Perfect for sharing. Our waitress came around a few times to refill drinks and to ask if we needed anything. She was very sweet and knowledgeable of the items on the menu. Our overall visit was good. My only suggestion at this time for this location is to maybe update the inside and add more light. It was kind of gloomy.

So I went to this place on Sunday night and was disappointed in the service. Omg! Our waiter was very nice but extremely slow. It took forever before we could place our order. Honestly probably 20 minutes. No exaggeration! Than 15 minutes before we got our drinks. Another 20 minutes before we got our food which came with the salads that I thought came before the meal. I was just bothered by it all. I needed a refill but finally got one when I was about to leave. My daughter never got her refill. My food was pretty good but my boyfriends food was clearly burned. I got the stuffed flounder with shrimp alfredo and the sweet potatoes and ceasar salad. The new sweet potato side wasn’t all that I rather just have it without the nuts. Anyways, I won’t go back to this Red Lobster again. The one off of 15 – 501 was way better.

I’ve been coming here since 1984! Wow! My kids are grown and come here now. Love the cheddar biscuits and seafood trio.

Let me start by saying the star rating is not descriptive of our visit. I only gave 4 stars(really should be 1) because I feel like the reason for the bad review is based mostly on the Red Lobster company and not necessarily this specific location. Not really fair to knock this location as bad for things that are the fault of the company itself. First, the dish for 16.99 that comes with a soup, salad, entrée and dessert that I have been getting for YEARS is now only available Monday-Thursday. Mind you we went 3 weeks ago and were able to get it so this is very recent. Very bad call on their part. Secondly, EVERYTHING(or so it seems) is an up charge. Thankfully, the waitress does a good job on letting you know that it’s an up charge so you aren’t shocked when you get the bill. But really, it’s unnecessary. Lastly, we went as one of our guest’s birthday is Monday. This is where he chose to go for his birthday. I was not at all impressed that we had to remind the waitress twice that it was his birthday. They also had no birthday dessert. I have been other places that didn’t have desserts but they always knocked 5%-10% off the bill as most birthday celebrations include a large bill. We got nothing but a happy birthday song. To some this may not be a big deal, but this is the one place he decided to come and your birthday only comes once a year. A scoop of ice cream would have been nice. As far as other reviews about the service, it really isn’t the best but I see all of the servers running around so maybe they are just understaffed? Anyways, decent location for a nice meal but don’t go here for your birthday.

There is no 0 star option. This location is awful. Super dirty and has a strange dirty smell also. Dinner with my daughter was a special event and this location wasn’t the experience we expected. Our first visit and didn’t want to go due to other reviews but it was the closest. We walked in at 9 an hour before they closed. The lady at the front was chatting on the phone when we walked in and didn’t acknowledge us until I started looking around me as if to wonder if she knew we were standing there or maybe blind? Rudely, finally she says r u dining in? As I said yes she had a near eye roll. Our server was the only good thing about this visit. Will not visit again!

I visited Red Lobster for basic popcorn shrimp, that is what I received. It met my expectations. The food was hot and came out fast.

Great food on every visit at this location. However wait staff quality can vary depending upon who you get and the particular evening.

Ok so I must admit that I make it a point to go to Red Lobster every year during their endless shrimp promotion. Many years ago, I went with two friends and ate 101 shrimp in one sitting, so since then, I make a point to go back each year to try and beat my personal best record. On Friday afternoon, I unexpectedly went to Red Lobster with two friends of mine for a very late lunch. I explained that this could be a long lunch as I am a bottomless pit when it comes to the endless shrimp promo! We had to wait a few minutes to be seated which I thought was kind of odd as the restaurant was not busy. We were seated and greeted moments later by our server James. He took our drink order but I must admit I was a bit disappointed that when he returned w our drinks that he didn’t have biscuits in hand. He tried to set down the drinks and walk away, and seemed kind of put out when we told him that we were ready to order. All three of us got the endless shrimp. Scampi, scampi, and more scampi for this girl! I was surprised to learn that we could order two refills of shrimp at a time. There were a few instances where I think our server failed to put in our refill orders bc the lapse of time seemed like forever(again it wasn’t busy!) James was overly talkative. At one point he even showed us a picture on his cell phone of the pile of shrimp tails from when he came to endless shrimp with his dad which is fine, but weird, but what really bothered me was his comment about the number of shrimp I ate. He down played my accomplishment and said something like you should count the number of refills, not the number of shrimp. Bottom-line, with a less immature, annoying, talkative server, I would have given my dining experience another star. I am happy to announce that I broke my personal best record and ate 112 shrimp! If I hadn’t eaten 3 biscuits, half of a casaer salad and a baked potatoe, I would have superseded my shrimp record by much more than I did! No complaints from me about the food. My final order of shrimp Alfredo came home with me!

I came for lunch with my parents. Hostess put us in a booth and would not give us a table, was not at all impressed with her. I had the lobster tacos, they were healthy and tasty, served with an uninspired side of dry rice. Overall, it was just OK.

The food is great! The servers are great! The only thing that ruins the restaurants reputation are the hostess. The hostess, specifically the location on old wake forest road, are rude and always coughing up a bad attitude.

Took my hubby out for a date night. 30 min wait was not bad for the dinner rush. Chris at the bar made a great sangria and was very personable. Food was good but our waitress not so much. Most of our refills or other items were brought by someone else. She kept forgetting things even after being asked several times.

I am not a big seafood or pasta lover, but I was visiting the area with family. I was pleasantly surprised! Our waitress was very friendly, our food was delivered to our table efficiently, and all the food items we ordered tasted wonderful. It is most likely that we will return since our relatives like this restaurant.

Ok, first, we typically don’t eat at big chain restaurants, and we had never been to Red Lobster. We had an out-of-town guest who had a gift card and really wanted to try one, so we went for lunch. First impression is that the place must be crazy packed for dinner because the waiting area had its own walk up bar(smart) with lots of benches. I imagine when they do there crazy-all-you-can-eat shrimp/lobster promos that are heavily advertised, it is tough to get a table. We went on a Monday for lunch and had to wait a few minutes for a table, but mostly because of staffing. The dining room is dark and dated, like 1980 faux-wood basement dated. We were seated and served those cheddar biscuits everyone raves about that should be illegal. Seriously. The menu is enormous and the large, glossy photos make everything look the same. Also, it is expensive. I understand that it is seafood, but wow, most entrees are $ 25+. There are $ 7.99 lunch specials, mainly sandwiches and salads, but we did not order those. We had the Bar Harbor Bake($ 25.49) with lobster tails, shrimp(split in half), scallops(sliced in slivers– never seen that before) and mussels, served over linguini in a huge oval, ceramic baking pan that you would serve dinner out of. Lots of pasta and tiny bits of seafood. Overall, though, it was enjoyed. We also had the Admiral’s Feast($ 18.49) which is shrimp, bay scallops, clam strips, and flounder-everything’s tiny and fried, and there is a lot of it. Also, the Wood-Grilled Lobster and Salmon($ 25.99) served with shrimp, green beans and baby potatoes. The Admiral’s Feast was fine, not great. The Wood-Grilled dish — wow, the salmon was PERFECTLY cooked and delicious. Over all, service was attentive, but the fact that it is a chain(is everything pre-cooked and frozen?), the space needs major face lift and it is really expensive– there’s dozens of restaurants I’d rather pay $ 25+ a plate to dine at, it is unlikely we will go back.

Omg WORTSERVICEEVER!!! Our food was like a JOKE they brought out one. Single. Thing. At a time. Like one drink at a time! I was with a group and we ended up just taking our food to go! Because of how long we waited. To the owner: splurge a little if you have to and hire more staff!!! You sit there along with many others just waiting for almost twenty minutes for someone to take your order! I like red lobster but I decided to just drive all the was to cary for some quality service.

We love eating year. The food is always great however the service leaves a little bit to be desired in terms of timeliness. We had the ultimate platter and a few of the new entrées and everything was great. And if you’ve never been here before its asst worth coming for the biscuits! Delicious.
