I don’t know about you, but when you’ve been a customer of Brinks/​ADT for 16 years and the equipment starts to fail, you expect them to make it right. Not so. They wanted to charge $ 125 for a service fee, plus new parts and a more expensive contract.
So, I abruptly jumped ship and had SFI come out and give my home a much needed security makeover. Now, to be perfectly honest, I was using SFI at my second home already. They put together a great package for me and I’ve been extremely pleased with the service, so I knew what I was getting into with my primary residence.
You can get all of the following and more via a custom package: glass break sensor (for the whole house), door keypad, garage door sensor (lets you know you’ve left the stupid thing open… again), smoke detector integration, wireless light, and a wireless thermostat, etc.
I found the service men to be very personable and they arrived right on time. I’d highly suggest them over ADT if you’re considering implementing a new system or upgrading your current.
