The workers are friendly and hardworking. The manager, Jermain Murphy, however recently attacked my 17yr old granddaughter who was working there. She is now afraid to go back to work and we are trying to convince her to go to the police.

I have eating here over five times and every time there has been a issue with something. Stupid me keeps stoping there. But I love Sonic drinks. I lived in Sanford NC growing up and I have always loving going to that one. But with this one right down the road it’s horrible. One time I stopped in with me family and order a whole meal. It was not until we got our food that they let us know that they could not use cards for payment. And then they just stand there and look me we all stupid like when I said we did have any cash as if money was going magically appear in my wallet. Two different times the drive thru was not working. On every occasion I can think of you have to wait over five mins after pressing the order button before anyone comes over the mic to take your order and there is only three cars in the parking lot. They need a new manger and new up grades on there equipment. Never once have the card swipes worked at the parking area. Never have work. So they have to take my card back into the store to be swiped which I am never comfortable with especially looking at the quality of staff they have working there.

I have been to this @SonicDriveIn several times, as there only a couple in Raleigh. Sometimes the carhop will even come out on roller skates here. Make sure that you sign up for their email club, as they frequently have specials, and coupons.
I like their burgers, fries, tots, dogs, and slushes, but their shakes are not as great as Cook Out in my opinion. You can either dine-​in your car, go through the drive-​thru, or sit under the covered area to order, and enjoy your food at this location. They even have free Wi-​Fi here.

Worst service I’ve ever received at a sonic. Simply stopped by for a milkshake craving and after the worker incorrectly took our order (5 repeats) we drove off. Not worth the hassle

I have been going to this Sonic for almost 3 years and have watched the service decline. I understand that milkshakes are half price after 8pm during the summer but I still should not have to wait at the drive through window for 10 minutes unless you are milking the cow and making the ice cream in the back. The staff is young and could care less about the customer service aspect of their jobs. Most of them are okay but my most recent experience, how do you repeat my order to me and it’s still wrong when you give it to me? They left out some food and then had to wait another 6 minutes to cook it, all the meanwhile my food I already have is getting cool and my milkshake is melting. I think I’m going to start going to the other Sonic in Wake Forest as this one is terrible all around. Even the quality of the food has changed and some days it’s good. Other days I’m mad at myself for even going there.

I had to wait over 15 minutes just to order my food (I was asked if I could wait twice, they never came back to me). Then I had to repeat my order 3 times (which I did clearly and slowly). Food, of course, took forever to come out and It shouldn’t be shocking but my order was wrong. My server was exceptionally nice though.
Maybe they had a lot of people training but from reading the other reviews this is just a bad location.

I had a mega-​fun time at Sonic! The Burger, foot-​long hot dog and fries were great, and the slushes, with all the flavors and Nerds in them… oh, hell yeah! I will certainly be going back for more of that delectable Sonic food, and it will be one of my main slush stops when the weather gets warmer.

Good drinks and ice cream. On my last trip I had the bacon cheeseburger toaster, which had a tasty bbq sauce, onion rings, and pickles on it. Not the best fast food burger, but quite a step above McD’s and BK.

I love a Sonic… just not THIS Sonic. About every six months or so, I give it another shot, but I really think I’m done this time. Here’s what’s wrong with this location.
— The dingy dirty look. Trash in the parking lot, everything looks old and unclean. Ick.
— The service. Slooooooooowwww. Takes forever to get your meal. Drink cup was handed to me all sticky. Credit card swipe machine didn’t work… no one cared.
— The execution of the food. For as long as it takes, you’d think they were in there handcrafting my burrito with tweezers. Not so. It was a slopped together and loosely wrapped. First four bites were all cheese sauce, next two were all egg, then a mouthful of sausage. Sweet tea was bitter and tasted like that haven’t cleaned the machine in a while. Tots were crazy greasy. Ick.
Sonic, I love you, but I’m over it with this location.

Sonic, why does it take so long for your employees to prepare the food? I don’t want to wait any longer than I should for «fast» fare! But, alas, it is so worth it! The burgers on Texas toast and juicy hot dogs, and jalapeño poppers, oh my… My heart doesn’t like you, but my belly doesn’t care!

Finally after years of seeing the ads on TV for this place I finally got to try this place. while in North Carolina. I Ordered the Cheeseburger, loaded hot dog, onion rings, fries. It was good but lacking flavors and taste. The problem is since places like Five Guys, Smashburger kind of places have hit the market it’s kind of taken some of the wind out of burger places like this that serve commercial fast food burgers. The toppings were fresh, the food was good but it just didn’t do anything for me.

My cousin told me their breakfast sandwiches were delicious so i had to try them. I was very leery because Sonic fast food is just OK to me. Whenever I’m in the south I’m hitting up my favorite fast food spots like «bojangles or cracker barrel.» However, kudos to Sonic for their slamming breakfast sandwiches. I had the sausage, egg and cheese and it was delicious!!! The toasted buttery bread was on point and i think it was a bit better than my Bojangles biscuit sandwiches. Omg did i just say that!

A pretty standard Sonic in every sense. You drive in, you look like a money trying to move around and read the menu. Sometimes the ordering system is clear and other times I could get a clearer call to India using a cell phone 10 years ago, like most of the other Sonic’s I’ve visited.
I usually buy my bags o’ ice from them because I like the little cubes they make and they will plop it right into a cooler in the car, convenient!
The servers are friendly, the food fast and hot, the drinks cold and tasty.
I am glad it is not any closer to my house or I would be there more often than I should — their Strawberry Limades and strawberry limade slushies are addict-​able.

The food is really good as far as fast food burgers go. Haven’t tried the new ones, but their classic foot long chili cheese dog is tasty. They also have tater tots which is a plus for any place in my book. If you’re out during the week from 2−4pm stop in for their «happy hour» when drinks are half price (44oz. strawberry slushy for $ 1!). The service is generally friendly.
I’m not sure if this Sonic’s location is a blessing or a curse for me. I live fairly close and would probably eat here more if it weren’t for the fact that turning left onto Atlantic from here can be a bit difficult if traffic is heavy. Guess my waistline and wallet are probably thankful for that. I’m also not a fan of drive-​thru ordering, and even if you walk up that’s basically how you still have to order. If you happen to have a coupon, make sure to mention it when ordering or they probably won’t accept it.

Came here for their happy hour special yesterday — all drinks/​slushes are ½ off from 2pm-​4pm. You can’t beat a large strawberry limeade with their crushed ice for 92 cents on a hot, humid Carolina day!
They had some technical difficulties with their drive-​thru yesterday, but I simply pulled into one of the side spots and it was fine.

My fiancé was craving it and we stopped here to get one for him. Where we are from, the closest Sonic’s is 150 miles from us — no kidding!!! So might as well enjoy the pleasure of the surburban area.
No peaches n cream drink, but the up side is the nice drive-​thru guy said that a peach milk shake is the closest to it and he did it all w/​a smile.
Super duper nice, and quick!
