I had the lasagna and a sweet tea. The lasagna was the best I have had in years, including some high-priced restaurants. The service was quick and polite. The bread was excellent. The food came out expeditiously. It was served on China and metal silverware was provided. Total bill was under $ 10.00. Definitely will return.

My wife and I use to love this restaurant. Pretty good location and great food. But a couple of years ago its like management changed. The food, which was great became so-so but it didn’t matter what you ordered because you would get whatever they felt like making. So often we would order a pizza or pasta or a sandwich and get something completely different. The staff did not seem like they cared to correct anything or would argue that you got the right thing, somehow Eggplant parm sandwich was a Stromboli. Delivery times would take an hour or more.

I’ve been here three times and will not be going back after my most recent experience. The employees are actually very rude and unprofessional when communicating on the phone. The pizza is decent but not worth the price.

Best pizza in the neighborhood — pasta doesn’t disappoint. Always arrives hot for delivery orders!

This place is always good. Bread is fantastic, wings are good, chicken Alfredo is delicious, pizza is perfect. Wings could be a little more meaty, and the temp in the restaurant has been too hot the last two times I’ve been. Overall, a very good place to eat!

We just happened on this place after an event at PNC. Wow! What garbage! I had the chicken parmesan and the chicken was overcooked and bordering on burnt. Wife had spaghetti and meat sauce. Cheap ground beef and canned tomatoes… YUCK No herbs and NO seasoning in sight. Big chunks missing in the formica on the tables and I stuck to the chair. I was a Chef for over 30 years and had trainees that could make meals better than this place! For their sake I hope they can make good pizza. I will NEVER know because we will NOT ever be back. Do yourself a favor and skip this place!

Delicious! You can’t beat this place for quick, good quality Italian. Their recipes are authentic and their food is always the best quality! I can’t speak to the service as I always get carry out or delivery. I have been impressed recently with how fast they’ve gotten to my place. The shrimp pesto and their calzones are my top two favorites on the menu.

Visited here a few times over the past few years and left satisfied every time. The service is great and the calzones are amazing.

Great neighborhood restaurant. Call ahead for take out sometimes it gets busy. Staff is friendly, very clean and we have not had a bad meal. Not a typical«restaurant» order at front and they call ur name.

The food is not bad if you are actually served it. Stromboli’s: It’s like musical chairs but with pizza!

Amazing! Best pizza I’ve had in a long time. Super thin like NY pizza should be. Staff is always excellent and super friendly.

Me and Hubby, found this place searching for something different in the area and we really enjoy it. Nice fast casual dining or take out, I really enjoy the meatball parm and an antipasto salad on the side. I recommend if your looking for quick cheap eats.

Some of the BEST Italian cuisine I’ve had since I moved out of NYC. Definitely recommended, and this place has a real old school Pizzeria atmosphere. Loved it!

I’ve been hitting this place up for lunch for a few years now and it’s great. I generally order one of the ever changing lunch pasta specials. Sometimes you can get out of there with an order of pasta and a drink for $ 7 and some change. I have tried a couple of the sandwiches and found them to be tasty and filling. Strombolis used to offer wraps from time to time which I loved, but I haven’t seen them on the menu the last several times I have gone in. I am not a fan of the pasta salad that comes as a side for the sandwiches so I always pay the upcharge for fries instead.

I live close to Stromboli’s and love to take advantage of their $ 5 personal 8 inch pizza deal when I want some pizza or a quick takeout dinner. I stick to basic pepperoni and it is good. One time, I did venture out and get the spinach ravioli in Alfredo sauce. It was okay. Not the best pasta dish I’ve ever had but acceptable. I’ll stick to the personal pizza from here on out. The service is always excellent.

I came in for the first time today at a recommendation from a close friend. Ordered the Stromboli and have to say it was great! Not a fancy place, just a good pizza joint to bring the family too. I will spread the word to other Cardinal Gibbons family’s. Can’t wait to try the pizza…

Admittedly, I’ve only been here once but the calzone I ordered was excellent. At first I was overwhelmed by its size, but it was stuffed with just the right amount of cheese, etc. I easily finished the whole thing, and I have to say it was better than the calzones at Randy’s. Layout of the parking lot is a bit odd, but interior is really clean, and the staff is really nice. If I’m in the area again I will definitely stop by for another calzone.

Had a basic pepperoni and cheese Stromboli. Was surprisingly very good, excellent blend of cheeses, and the sauce was not overpowered by herbs. I would like to come back and sample some of their specialty pizzas! In addition, the store was extremely clean. Good place!

We placed an order here from Rex Hospital after being tired of eating Hospital food for several days. My wife had been the hospital. We called in for delivery they were very helpful. It took them about 45mins for the food to arrive. The food was above average we had the Chicken Alfredo along with garlic bread and cheese sticks. The Chicken Alfredo was ok, however the bread was bland and the cheese sticks were soggy. I would actually say the hospital food was better at Rex.

Decent lunch specials. I love the pizza and salad combo. I recently ordered a white pizza for my daughter, very cheap on the ricotta and too much oil as well as bland. Good none the less, for a quick lunch.

I ordered here for the first time yesterday. The guy taking my order didn’t seem to know what was on his own menu. I ordered a white pizza with prosciutto and he kept wanting to put Alfredo sauce on it(GROSS). Once he took my order correctly he said it would be 30 – 45 minutes. Seems reasonable. After an hour and 15 minutes my pizza finally arrives. The delivery guy says they couldn’t find my address. It’s 2013, ever hear of GPS??? Ridiculous!!! The only saving grace was the pizza was great. My advice to the management, get a computer and mapquest addresses. Someone that works there has a smartphone don’t they? Hopefully?

Ordered a pizza totally expecting a very generic, if not gross, pizza. Picked it up, brought it home, and… not bad at all. Seriously. The crust was then, crispy in the right spots, doughy in the right spots, and had a little flavor as well. The salad was definitely not high quality, but it also wasn’t totally gross. The menu is huge, with as many specialty pizzas and toppings as Lilly’s or Capital Creations. The product-to-price ratio is really good, they deliver, and they have tons of coupons and specials that make things simple. We ordered a specialty pie that was essentially a white-pizza with alfredo sauce – so I can’t vouch for the quality of the red sauce and the degree to which they can produce a standard pie. I will definitely hit this place up again – totally solid if you’re in the area.

Decided to do a stop here on a weekend to buy lunch for my office workerbees who were actually putting in time that particular weekend. Not really an impressive visit to say the least. The food, eh… not so great — very acidic, somewhat bland, and a recipe for a bad case of heartburn for the rest of the day(yes, it was and it did). I can’t vouch for my co-workers meals, I just know mine had me downing Tums for the rest of the day. Service was okay, not particularly fast, but not especially slow either. People were friendly enough so I can’t fault the place for it’s service. I’m just going to put this one on my list of «Been there… tried it… no overwhelming desire to go back»

The first time I went to Stromboli’s was on Thursday and I was back there on Saturday, so that speaks for itself about my satisfaction. Their antipasto salad was great. Like Kim R., I also surprisingly loved the fries. The Buffalo Chicken Pizza was good, I liked their pizza, but the crust is thin in like a flimsy way which I enjoyed though others that tried it with me did not. They have a wide selection of pastas which I hope to try. Their prices are very reasonable and the staff are friendly and funny too.
