Super cute and cozy and not at all a weird set-up like some of the other reviews indicated. The owner greeted me immediately upon arrival and our waitress was so friendly and helpful in explaining the wine cards. The other owner approached us at the pouring machines to give recommendations and even snuck us a few free samples. The meat and cheese platter was perfect. I will definitely be returning!

I’ve always found Raleigh to be a charming city, but oftentimes it would require a trip downtown for the true experience. While visiting friends this past weekend, my best friend and I ventured to Uncorked in North Raleigh on Friday evening, and what a splendid place it is! It was a full house on Friday due to the rain, leaving only indoor seating available. However, we were able to find a high-top immediately and begin our venture in wine tasting, both with our card and wine dispensers as well as the wine tasting that Uncorked was having that evening unbeknownst to us until the owner’s husband Paul asked if we had tried them. We had not, and with that, he personally brought the wine to our table and served and discussed the different wines with us. While enjoying the many different flavors of the night, we shared the Finding Nemo salad that featured two delectable crab cakes, the perfect portion for each of us. Our waitress had recently started but was quick to talk through the menu as well as answer any questions. The bartender was also a fine gentleman who helped us choose the two bottles we ended up purchasing from the wine tasting. Overall, the experience was beyond exceptional and I highly recommend a visit. If you stop in, tell Paul that the girl from Houston is singing their praises. I look forward to going back and trying the coffee!

I went here for a date night and with the beautiful weather, we decided to sit outside on the patio. The owner’s husband Paul happened to be our server and he made the night very special for us. We came for a few glasses of wine and ended up ordering food too. The flatbreads are insanely delicious and they come with the best little«greens salad.» Don’t let the name fool you– this salad is anything but ordinary featuring almonds, dried cranberries, cheese and a tasty dressing on top! Uncorked is perfect for date night or a night out with girlfriends. We’ll absolutely be returning!

I have really tried to like this little place. I shop in that shopping center and patron other shops there as well. Wine selection is good but customer service is lacking. I went in today with my boyfriend and sat for 10 minutes while the owner talked with wine vendors and the manager was doing the same. I was ready to spend money on the wine they were buying and they never said hello, goodbye or even seemed to care. I am in customer service and am pretty patient, but not when it comes to being ignored.

I wish there were more stars for rating Uncorked. I invited some friends to Uncorked for a special gathering. I called ahead of time to let the establishment know I was bringing friends to celebrate my mom’s birthday. I got all questions answered by their amazing wait staff. Upon arrival, I was greeted with the following: a patient, accommodating staff, an incredibly kind owner, & a chef who prepared delicious treats. The wine & coffee bar is beautiful. The tasty wine selection really impressed me. The chef cooked some great dishes for us. If you’ve never tried Uncorked, please do. I’ve gone twice, & I’ve been very pleased with the service both times. Go. Take some friends. I promise you’ll be pleasantly surprised..

Absolutely our new favorite spot. Good wine, delicious food, and fun indoor setting. Don’t let the exterior fool you– this is a great find. The owners are super friendly and really make it a special experience.

I went here with my girlfriend and we enjoyed a couple of beers and a glass of wine as well as their hummas platter. The atmosphere is definitely weird, but very nice. A coffee/wine shop just seems off, buy frankly I’ve seen much weirder. My girlfriend enjoyed her wine and while it was most definitely a smaller glass it was perfectly acceptable. The beer was phenomenal and wasn’t something I had seen before. The hummas was absolutely to die for! The regular, the sweet red pepper, and their pesto hummas were all fantastic! The pesto was definitely our favorite. I highly recommend it to anyone!

Let me start with the good– delicious tasting wine super friendly staff nice courtyard outside to listen to entertainment The not so good– you need to reserve an outdoor table to sit in courtyard to listen to entertainment(wasn’t told that when I called earlier in the day) indoor seating is uncomfortable with high top tables and chairs indoor seating is like sitting in a wine store outdoor seating is not set up to best utilize tables and chairs set up there wine is dispensed by computerized machine and pours are tiny half glass is very small(I won’t even talk about taste) full glass is also small did not know how to tip as we poured our own wine and didn’t eat any food perplexing atmosphere(coffee shop/wine shop/restaurant) checking out with wine card was slow

This is an amazing gem in north Raleigh! The food is delicious and I have not been disappointed ever. I have also sent friends from out of town there as well as relatives and all have loved it! The atmosphere is wonderful for a romantic evening out or perfect to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. Great spot to get together with friends. The staff is always friendly and provide great service. The selection of wines is fantastic and prices are reasonable! The free wine tastings are fun and informative. They also have an outdoor patio and often have live music on the weekends. They also have some beer on tap for those that do not like wine :) you can NOT go wrong with this place!

We checked this place out last night(had a Living Social that was about to expire in a few days). The service was amazing. The entire team works together so we ended up chatting with 4 different employees. The spinach dip was pretty good but not the best I’ve ever had but the bruschetta was downright AMAZING(and I’ve been to Italy) so I was super impressed! I didn’t even get to take a picture fast enough before we started devouring it. They also had this chocolate cake they make in house and it was to die for. I love the atmosphere in this bar — very well designed. And I tried three ½ glasses of wine(from their wine dispenser machines) and each one was delish! GOCHECKITOUT!

This was just such a treat! I came with my mom during a trip figuring out moving Durham. We had coffee, nibbles of food(free samples), wine, and desert. All was delicious! The wine dispensers were so fun and would make this place a great date location! The food was amazing! The patio was really cute! I cannot say enough good things about here… We were looking for a fun experience and found it! I will definitely drive out of my way to come back again. If you visit, be sure to have the baked Bree with a red wine. Enjoy!

One of the worst experiences. Unbelievably poor service, staff that was there was so incredibly rude. We waited 1 hour for a charcuterie plate. Really? The cold and hateful hostess came over to say sorry and spilled ice water on my wallet, and my iPhone 6! Her response, «I hate cellphones». She took off $ 5. Wow. My friends and I will not be back. Sad shame, the place used to have a really friendly and helpful staff, fun place to hang out.

I had the opportunity to try out Uncorked with a Living Social deal a few weeks ago. It was pretty good. The deal included a bottle of wine, 2 flat breads, 2 salads and dessert. I must say it’s a lovely space. It’s in a N. Raleigh shopping center but once you’re in the space it’s a bit like being in a lodge — heavy wood beams, soft lighting. The host greeted us quickly and we had our choice of seats. It’s a retail shop but they’ve done a good job with creating a dining area that doesn’t feel like you’re on display in a store. We were offered a choice of a red or white wine and we opted for Broke Ass Red. It was your average red — not the boldest I’ve ever had but definitely drinkable and non-offensive. We each ordered a flat bread and Caesar salad. The salad was just a plain old salad. There was nothing noteworthy about it. I had the Fig & Prosciutto flat bread(fig purée, prosciutto, mozzarella, arugula garnish and balsamic). My boyfriend had the Dutchman(goat cheese mousse, fig Purée, mozzarella, prosciutto, sundried tomatoes, goat cheese and arugula with drizzled honey & balsamic glaze). My flat bread was good but the fig purée overpowered every other flavor. I completely missed savory notes. Also, despite having the fig purée it was somewhat dry. The Dutchman however was fantastic. So good in fact that we’d polished it off and then I remembered I hadn’t photographed it. It was sweet, savory, salty — nicely done. I would definitely order that next time. Dessert was hands down the best thing we had. It was their seasonal fruit pastry. The apples were perfectly baked. They still had solid texture but were cooked through and the dish was not overly sweet. It really rested on the apples. The pastry was flaky, buttery and really good. Served warm and with whipped cream it was a true treat. We definitely got our money’s worth with the Living Social deal. I would go back but instead of dinner I’d opt for sampling some wines from their extensive collection(they have an Enomatic machine that allows you to self-serve tastes) and maybe splitting the Dutchman as a nosh while sipping. It was a good, solid meal but didn’t leave me raving about it.

I fell in love with this place last night! I had a livingsocial deal that brought me here — $ 25 for a bottle of wine, two salads, two flatbreads and a shared dessert. It was worth every bit and more. The food was delicious, our waitress was very nice, and apparently they have weekly free tastings and sometimes live music. The place was so cute with a fabulous chandelier in the middle of the shop, cute little tables all around, self-serve wine dispensers, and fun knick-knacks for any wine-lover. They also serve coffee and snacks, so they really have it all for such a small spot. My friend said they have an outdoor patio space too for warmer months — such a great place to come to hang and most definitely a great date place(*fellas, take note). I will most certainly be a repeat customer.

Thanks to a Living Social, Sis & I decided to do our monthly Dinner/Wine-Out here, and we were so glad we did! Atmosphere is rustic, yet warm(which is good because it was a COLD night)…only thing missing is a fireplace. Fortunately there is plenty of wine to keep you warm. Apparently they have sold a bunch of these Living Socials because that was the first question out of our Server’s mouth… were we there for that? Yeppers! With our deal came a bottle of wine, two house salads, two flatbreads and one shared dessert. Sis paid just twenty-five bucks or so for this feast and feast we did. We were asked what kind of wine we wanted, but when we said Chardonnay, were told another table got«the last bottle». No biggee, it was a cold red kind of night, so Red we did. We started with small but fresh and tasty salads with mandarin oranges(not usually Sis’s thing, but she liked it fine) and a good balsamic. We got our choice of several flatbreads. Chose a seasonal one that had Chicken, Bacon, Mustard and cheeses. Along with one with fig, prosciutto and arugula. Both were quite good and bigger than we expected.(Sis took a piece of each home). We finished off our pleasant experience with a really yummy Berry Tart with ice cream.(there were several desserts to choose from). Overall we really liked this place and were so glad that Living Social led us here, since it is quite close to home for both of us. Especially glad to hear that they have free wine tastings on Friday nights. Must go back to try all those wines that are lined up waiting for us to purchase a card and try ‘em all!

Overall I really liked this place. One of the new owners we met was very friendly and helpful. The baked brie and flat bread was delicious and priced right. I love it that they have added to their beer selection and have some good quality local beers. Beer is discounted on Saturday nights. The outdoor seating area is really nice and there was live music on the weekends. I really want to make this my go to neighborhood hang out but there is one big problem that they need to address. The price of the wine in the dispensers is far too high for them to hit the correct target audience. I was there on a Saturday night and I didn’t see anyone using the dispensers. The portion sizes are far too small for the price being charged. A full pour should be 2⁄3 of a glass but is current about 1⁄3 of a medium size wine glass. In my mind the cost for the small«taste» portion should be dropped by at least half. The entire idea is to entice people to try a lot of wine, find something they love so they can then buy more wine! I hope they address these issues quickly before they receive more reviews like this. I really want them to succeed and everything else is great about this place. Don’t let the wine cost hold you back as they have a lot more to offer.

This place is under new management… a South African husband & wife team. They kept the free wine tasting but moved it to Friday. I’m impressed by their selection of Italian & South African wines, and the new owners are super friendly and helpful. It attracts an over-40 crowd, but somehow that doesn’t bother me. It’s refreshing to be around a more mature crowd!
