Was in there today at 11:00 am. Front end help was aweful, one lady was trying . Had some young goofy kid running the register, he acted like he was in outer space. No one had a grasp of the situation, only one register, and line was starting to get deep, You might call it a disfunktional Wendys. It happen in blue collar areas like Garner, and rural towns out in the middle of nowhere. I think a lot of it, is the managers fraught, they hire the wrong people. Other Wendys, like in Ralegh seem on the ball. Food was good at this one. Customer were bad too, if they had a refill or order was wrong, they step right in front of you. In all my years of eating out I have never had a bug in my food before! But this location proved me wrong as there was a dead fly in my Chili!!! I asked the worker to give me something else, and she told another employee to make fresh Chili but he said he didn’t want to do it! This and there were at least 5 flies in the restaurant that I could see. Which means that they don’t do enough to keep the flies out. I suppose if you order a frosty you may be ok, but I think the health inspector needs to check them out again.

First time at Wendy’s in a few years and what happened my burger had a funny taste like it came off a conveyor and it had a slightly burnt taste on edge but the fries were fresh and hot

This is one of the newly redesigned @Wendys. I stopped here on the way to the barbershop one day. This is one of those strange but true conversations. I was in the drive-thru and I was getting a burger, drink and salad. I told the guy over the speaker that I had a coupon for a free salad, and I wanted the Apple Pecan Salad. Then the guy said, you want a salad and have a $ 2 off coupon. I stated that I have a coupon for a FREE salad. Then the guy said, «Are you sure it does not say $ 2 off?» What did he think I was stupid. and mistook $ 2 off for free? I know I don’t have a PhD in Rocket Science, but come on, I did finish elementary school, and I can tell the difference between $ 2 and free. So the guy said that he wanted to see it. I am thinking, DUH, I have to give it to you anyway. I think Wendy’s must train all over their employees to treat the customers like idiots, because it seems to be a recurring theme. I did give Wendy’s an extra star as the location was newish, and not run down and busted looking. But they lost major points for the guy behind the counter. All he had to do was just say, Sir, I will need to see the coupon at the window before I give you your total. Not call me a liar over the speaker. I was the one looking at the coupon, not him. #272

new location with a nice indoor and outdoor seating area. A bit difficult to navigate how to enter the place, but you will hopefully get the hang of it. Good food presentation and hot fries. The bad part is that sometimes food is hanging around on a tray getting cold while the fries are still cooking. So, you may(or may not) get a cold sandwich. Staff doesn’t seems welcoming. In fact, seems rather sterile in greeting. Excellent drink machine, when its working properly.

Brand new facility(ergo the extra star). We opted for the drive thru and got our food within a minute of pulling up to the window, which is good if you’re in a rush but weird when you realize the food was just hanging out under a heat lamp. Personally, I’m not into fast food but if it’s your thing, this Wendy’s will deliver!
