Browsed Unilocal for somewhere to eat and saw this place had good reviews. We came on a Sunday afternoon and the place was pretty empty. We were seated right away and placed our order. I had the bbq albacore appetizer and Who’s Your Daddy roll. It was bomb. Prices are good too. A lot of the prices are 50% off. I would definitely come back. Five stars.

As an update: I’ve definitely had to knock a few stars. They’ve still got their Grand Opening sign up, over a year later, and the quality went downhill… fast. When we first started coming here it was our absolute new favorite as avid sushi eaters. Even the first few visits were almost turning us against Sensei and Mikuni, but I finally have had it. After a year of regular service — I don’t think we’ll be coming here anymore. The vegetable udon is embarrassing(2 chunks of zucchini and some slimy onion are the only veggies), the«sushi» children’s box no longer comes with rice(they must have forgotten what«sushi» means in Japanese), and the alcoholic drink sizes have reduced by about half(only being served in champagne glasses now, but still at $ 7 – 17 a glass). Miso is no longer complimentary, neither is steamed rice. I hadn’t noticed these changes over the past year, but after looking over my reviews and some terrible food from here today(and a $ 70 bill for 2 people), I realize the change this establishment has faced. Not a good one. Go somewhere else.

We fell in love with Sky Sushi in Roseville, shortly after we started going they changed the name to Sushi Mon. Same company same great Sushi when I heard that they were opening another location that is only mins from our house well no question my wife and I were excited. We went last night 3 rolls, garlic edamame less than $ 30 everything like the other locations phenomenal great taste half price rolls but not half on flavor. Give it a chance you won’t be disappointed.

I drive past this restaurant every time I visit my sister. And Every time, their 50% off sushi rolls sign catches my attention. Finally, when I was in the area again, I decided to order some food to go. I ordered the turn me on roll and who’s your daddy roll. Each roll was $ 9 after the 50% off deal. When I picked up the food, It was packaged nicely in a clear container. I’d Quickly noticed the small portion size which became a disappointment, but that was until I took a bite into the food! The rolls turned out sooooo good. Each of the rolls tasted completely different from each other. I find that to be uncommon in sushi restaurants where all of the sushi rolls tastes pretty much the same. Overall, I will be coming back. I’m excited to try all the foods they have to offer!

Amazing all around! Sometimes you go places and the staff is wonderful but the food isn’t great. Sometimes you go somewhere and the food is great and the service is sad. Not here! You get great service and great food! I have never tasted something as unique and delicious in the sushi realm as when I had the chili fin! You must try the chili fin if the ingredients are to your liking. Also, the beautiful roll was … Beautiful!

Love this place. Been there twice. Service is excellent. I love going to places that have happy waitors/waitresses. They’re very patient and constantly refill your drinks. They didnt have any raspberry iced tea. But their lemonade ice tea is worth mentioning. Also. Awesome names for the sushi rolls. Lol. I definitely enjoyed being there.

Overpriced. They try to trick you by telling you their rolls are 50% off which makes me laugh because salt sushis rolls are 50% larger and cheaper than their 50% off bull shit. Don’t get scammed people. Oh their edamame is nothing compares to mikunis. You literally have no reason to come here.

Not gonna lie, for Sacramento this place is pretty freaking bomb. The fish quality isn’t super great but it’s not bad, the prices are good, and the rolls are actually tasty and inventive! Came for a quick takeout meal before heading to the library. I got a chirashi and a Turn Me On roll. The chirashi was really large. It had over 20 pieces of fish and it was under $ 20. The quality varies but none of it was flat out bad. The rice could’ve been more flavorful and cooked slightly less but I was impressed by their selection of fish which included scallop, ikura, and even some toro I believe. Overall, it may be one of the best under $ 20 chirashis I’ve ever had. The Turn Me On Roll was also really good. I love cilantro in rolls and I’m so glad they actually feature a roll with it. It’s a bit on the smaller side but very tasty. I also love the garlic chips. Overall, I love this place! I will definitely be back for more!

We stopped here as it was close to our hotel and we wanted something light for dinner as we had a large lunch up in Folsum. We sat at the sushi bar. My husband ordered a great roll containing tempura shrimp, crab, and topped with eel and fresh slices of jalapeño. It was a little spicy but not overpowering. I ordered us some of the best tuna sashimi I have had ever along with some great green tea. We look forward to going back the next time we are in the area.

The first time we came here we were impressed. But it was only me and my Fiancé. The building was empty, so our service was decent. We came in last week and it was super busy, so service was horrible. We didn’t get our waters refilled once during dinner. They filled them as we were getting up to leave. What bothered me most about this place is that they charge you 15⁄16 dollars for the teriyaki beef that they claim is «rib eye». It’s not, it’s totally not rib eye. THEN they argue about it saying it’s ribeye. Not impressed and we won’t be back unfortunately.

How is this place so cheap and it serves so much food? We went for $ 4 wine night and I ended up getting the bento box. My friend got two rolls and we split the edamame and the amount of food was outrageous! Also, the garlic edamame was so delicious I just wanted to keep the sauce for my rice. Price was perfect. Only thing I don’t LOVE is when restaurants try to be too cheeky and weirdly sexual with their food. I don’t really want to eat something called a «Screaming Orgasm» at a sushi place and it kind of makes it unnecessarily family-unfriendly as well.

Sky Sushi-fricking delicious and reasonably cheap. It’s perfectly seasoned rice with perfectly molded raw fish on top with perfectly fried tempura shrimp inside with perfectly balanced sauces to bring it all together. It’s the same prices as the Sky Sushi in El Droado Hills, but without the long lines. Among my favorites are G String(the crunchy strings on top are so good), Who’s Your Mama(love the seared salmon/spicy tuna/spicy cream sauce combo), and That’s How I Roll(the jalapeño sauce is not that spicy but exquisite with the cream cheese). If you love salmon & cream, those give you a good variety of solid rolls.

This place has seriously scrumptious sushi! Moving here from the city by the bay I was definitely afraid of not being able to find a really great sushi spot with fresh fish being so far from the ocean. This place has extremely fresh food. They’ve created some amazing rolls too! Get a roll with cilantro here. Yum yum. I love to customize my favorite roll which is spicy tuna and cucumber inside, salmon and lemon on top. The lemon adds such a delicious freshness. Must try. Add some miso soup and a large hot sake and you’re rollin’ now! Pun intended. My fiancé doesn’t eat sushi because he’s dumb, but for me it’s a major food group so I make him go with me. He loves their spicy chicken. Lovessssss it. Service is A+++ Price is right too! Enjoy!

Drinks: I really like the idea they offer the sake cocktail sampler. Pick 3 flavors out of 6 flavors for $ 7. We did 2 samplers. My favorite one was Sakura. I thought Peach on the beach was the stronger one out of them all, which I was surprised. Food: Sushi rolls were yummy and the ones we order have a different taste from each other. Sometimes sushi rolls all taste the same because off the sauces but not this time or maybe just the rolls we order. We had Who’s your daddy, Wet dream, Let me take a selfie, and superman. My favorite was Wet dream, it wasn’t wet or mouth watering in my mouth but it was really good and has a hint of spice. Who’s your daddy was good too but it didn’t wow me but I like the wonton chips it came with. Let me take a selfie was good and had a sour taste which was not bad at all. I didn’t really care for superman. Sushi rolls are 50% off!!! Service: Our waiter was so nice and attentive. He kept thanking us for being patience since it took a while for them to sit us down. He also check up on us to make sure we were doing fine and refilled our waters. He provided us with excellent service. Overall, I would definitely be back to try other items on the menu if I’m around the area.

Overall satisfied. Parking was easy. Upon walking in restaurant is a good size, booths are nice. Hostess greated us quickly and sat us right away. Nice atmosphere and not super busy ever which has its benefits. Sushi case at bar is lacking display. Nice looking cuts of sushi should be presented even if it’s fake. Waiter was friendly and nice. Service was overall a little slow. Ordered the who’s your momma and absolutely loved it. A mini salad comes with it and I thought that was perfect because you never see that and it balanced really well on the pallet. Tried the crazy and kamikaze and was happy with everything. Finished with a lion king after free garlic Edammame and before free mochi ice cream. My daughter ordered a side of rice and a side of tofu and it cost 2 dollars. I always pay about 5 for rice and tofu at other places. I’ll definitely go back.

Still my all time favorite joint in all of Sac! Free garlic edamame with a Unilocal check in! Funniest named sushi rolls! I had the“whose your daddy”! Dip your sushi in the garlic Edamame juice! So delicious and fresh! Locations in El Dorado hills, Roseville and Rancho! ½ price rolls all day! Ask for Rochelle or summer. Awesome service!

Easily one of the better sushi places for rolls I’ve been to in the Rancho Cordova area and Sacramento as whole. The price to enjoyment of what I’ve gotten so far has been well worth it. I used to avoid the 50% off places because of a few experiences I’ve had with other restaurants but what they have here is really on point. I used to also go to sushi Nemo for their happy hour from time to time but the chefs keep changing and I feel the quality has dropped quite a bit. I’ve tried a number of different rolls so far but favs so far would be let me take a selfie, kamikaze, superman, and girl next door. The only thing I’d change is having the fish not seared on the selfie but all of these worked well for my palate. The service has been on point, always checking to see how things are going and if there was anything needed. I always sit at the bar and the chefs are generally quite talkative also which made for a better night. Overall a good experience, and I still haven’t tried everything yet so I’ll be going back again for sure.

Garlic edname smelled so good when it came out. & it was actually a big plate of it. I was expecting it to be a small one since it was complimentary from checking in on Unilocal :) The garlicy and onion sauce on it was really good. Slap Me roll Sweet and spicy. Inside had crab meat and shrimp tempura and it was topped with BBQ eel, shrimp, avocado and jalapeño. That’s how I roll Sweet & tasty. Inside had cream cheese and shrimp tempura and it was topped with tuna & salmon. It had a creamy sauce to it. Knocked Up roll. This had a fresh minty flavor to it. Inside had cilantro, spicy tuna, shrimp tempura. It was topped with crunchy flakes. It also had a balsamic sauce to it. All of these rolls we ordered were pretty good & I really liked it. Another thing I liked was that there was a small side of salad included on the plate with the roll :) 4⁄5 stars because service was kinda slow and apparently it was more important for our server to have a convo with his coworker rather than checking up on my table and refilling our empty water cups…

First time here more as a traffic break but glad to make the stop. Very comfortable and clean spot with very friendly staff. Started off with Tako sunomono yum. Followed by tobiko nigiri. Saba sashimi and a salmon skin roll finished the meal here. All fish was fresh and tasty. My chef today was Kelvin and he obviously was traditionally trained. Awesome presentation ! I have this spot bookmarked !
