So I am sitting here it’s empty I am waiting for my order. The gentleman told me 15 minutes so I know that he is frying my food fresh… awesome! There is no food in the cases but it almost closing time so I get it. Gentleman here is working alone but it’s slow so it’s ok. When I first walked in no one greeted me I stood at the counter for a minute and had to call him out from the back. It is very clean and they have two small television’s to keep you entertained. He brings my food out, all I could think was this little man was so cute. He was very nice, even paid me a compliment. The only complaint I have was that the chicken tasted a little like fish it tasted like they might have fried it in the same oil. Other than that I was pretty happy. I will definitely come back and give it another try.

Excellent chicken and waffles and friendly service. Not roscoe s but sure 2nd best!(and closer)
We stopped patronizing this restaurant some time ago, and tonight reminded me of just why we did it. They’re not serving«Cat Fish» it’s Swai and ridiculously priced. Although Swai is in the Cat Fish family, it’s not Cat Fish, nor does it taste like Cat Fish. They charged me $ 4.49 for a large order of fries that wasn’t enough for my 8&10 year old kids. The Dirty Rice was also $ 4.49 and it was hard, old, and cold. Louisiana, 3 Strikes and you out! BTW, I agree with the other Unilocalers. The customer service is poor! I recall the owner asking my husband and I why he always sees us patronizing the Chinese restaurant next door… All the above is WHY!

I enjoyed the chicken and fried fish stick with the French fries and greens. You do not want the red beans and rice trust me. This is by far the best Franchise I have ever been too for Louisiana very clean and it did not have the flavor of MSG like the others

Once again… I tried to give them another chance and they failed me… My chicken wings had feathers in them which means the chicken was not cleaned properly and the fries were horrible as if they were sitting for hours… Never again NEVER!!!

I was born and raised in the south, so I am very picky when it comes to southern food. This place makes down home southern food. The fried chicken is amazing! They use hot sauce in their breading. It is made to order, so be prepared to wait for it. My husband had the fried shrimp and giblets, to which he said were awesome. The collard greens have the pepper vinegar already in them. My husband didn’t talk during dinner, it was that good. This is a mom and pop type of restaurant. The inside isn’t gloriously designed, but it is clean and the people who work there are very nice and have that southern hospitality.

I went in with a craving for good, genuine Southern cooking like I used to eat when I was growing up in Florida. I wasn’t disappointed. The chicken had a really great bite and great seasoning. The wait was a little more than half an hour for a two piece chicken meal and a chicken and waffle meal, but the chicken we got was really fresh. The chicken was the best part of the meal, the coleslaw and waffles left a lot to be desired. However, I will say that my initial impressions of the restaurant were slightly off-putting. It’s a little hole-in-the-wall place, and it wasn’t terribly busy when I went. Seemed slightly dirty. I would much rather just order in and pick up.

Get it together Brotha! The chicken here is very good, which is why I’ve come here since it’s been open. Having said that, I don’t know how they stay in business because the place is always empty. Unfortunately everything the other Unilocalers said is true. The customer service is terrible. They need to hire a person to take care of the front of the house and keep the cook in the back of the house. It’s unprofessional and almost spooky when you walk in and see him sitting in the dining room on the phone all by himself. He’s really good at frying chicken and really terrible at servicing customers. I’ve seen where the owner replies to Unilocalers on here and he always has an excuse. He’s not being honest because the same issues that other Unilocalers have complained about still exist. My suspicion is this place will eventually go out of business due to mismanagement and the new Cajon restaurant around the corner called«The Supreme Plate».

When I walked into this place it looked completely bare. The food case was completely bare, there were no customers and there were signs saying they have the right to refuse to serve people and do not use your cell phone while ordering, so I was a bit worried. I read some reviews that said the chicken was really good, so I had to a least try it. I waited about ten minutes for a value pack and the man was really nice. On my way home, the chicken smelled so good that I had to open the bag and taste a little piece. It was delicious! It was moist, fresh and the crust was so tasty. I couldn’t wait to take this home for my husband to try. I tried a little bit of the roll. It sort of reminded me of a King’s Hawaiian roll. The macaroni and cheese was not very good at all. It had a strange flavor, which is why I gave the place a 4 star rating instead of 5 stars. I will eat here again.

First of all, I LOVE southern food. It’s got it’s own special place in my heart… might just be indigestion but whatever, It’s awesome. Compared to China Point next door, this place was a baron wasteland, I’m talking tumbleweeds rolling around in there… I’m talking Blockbuster Video… I’m talking… yeah you get the picture. The only person sitting down at the dining booths was the cook who was watching the soccer game(I hope his team was winning cause’ this establishment is definitely losing). The man at the front desk, was on his phone looking down the entire time and did not even acknowledge our entrance. I’m also not one to judge, but coming from a culinary background, self-hygiene is food service 101. This guys nails done looked like he scratched chalkboards for a living. I tried ordering a #1, but he seemed angry that he might have to cook up only 1 piece of chicken, so I went ahead and ordered the 3 piece and the gizzards(which were saltier than the Pacific.) What really bothers me is reading comments from the owner a year or so back, making excuses and saying he takes all these reviews seriously, and is trying his best to change what people are negatively saying about this establishment. We’re now well into 2015 and I just experienced a bunch of the same things that other Unilocalers have complained about.

I haven’t been here in 4 yrs & I see why. I’m never, ever coming back again. When I walked in on a Saturday afternoon, the place was completely empty & no kind of desserts were showing in the enclosed, glass food rack at the front. I tried a little of everything: Chicken, fish, shrimp, gizzards, potato salad, mac & cheese, & dirty rice. The food didn’t taste good at all & looked & tasted l like it had been sitting out for weeks… all dried out. And do not, I repeat do not get the gizzards! They taste like some old dried up, overly salty pieces of fat. The potato salad was the freshest & best tasting thing, which tastes just like what you can get at any grocery store. They’re still quite salty, but the freshness was nowhere near what it was when I last went 4 years ago. The man who took the order was nice. Sorry guys, a lot more has to be done to make this place up to par. I honestly don’t know how this place has remained open for years, but I’m sure they have their certain loyal clientele.

Craving some fried chicken, so my foodie self decided to explore a new place nearby to see how this would compare to Popeyes. Big mistake! We ended up waiting a hour and a half to get our chicken and fries. The service was anything but southern hospitality. Once we finally got our food, We were dissapointed again to asee the chicken was pink, and stopped eating it at that point. Still hungry, we drove to the nearest popeyes and it was a very different experience. Order arrived in five minutes and the food was just as good, if not better. One big factor contributing to the quality and timeliness of food was due to the number of people working at each place. 1 vs 6. So managment needs to allocate resources in order to meet demand.

I can’t believe I went back to this place again. I had an appointment at this area at 1:30pm, and I arrived early at around 12:45pm. I was craving for Mica’s Peruvian Food, but it was all packed, no seats. As my appointment time is getting close, I don’t think China Point is a good choice because it take time to there, they are always busy. As much as I don’t want to come to this place due to the previous bad experience, I thought to give them another try because I received many marketing promotion emails from them recently and I felt she is really trying hard. I went in to this place around 12:52pm, sure enough she is still the sole person running this place. and sure enough I have to wait in line to order while she was busy in the kitchen. I told myself it’s ok because my appointment is 1:30pm, I have about 40 mins, fried chicken won’t take that long. I guess I was under estimate the time that required due to one man show. Let’s talk about something else first. I was complaining about no fountain drink, well they still don’t, but I can see the lady is trying her best to provide her best service to serve soda can that come with the meal. The way she asked what kind of drink was pretty nice and sincere, it kind of touched my heart that I wanted to support this place because I can feel her. It’s odd, but it’s just me. The second complaint that I had was no AC during the summer. She made it! There is AC, not super strong, but good enough. This is a big leap to me, and I was pretty happy. The smell inside were much better than before, and it wasn’t stuffy anymore. Not the best smell for a restaurant, but it is definitely a big improvement compared to last time. The 3rd complaint that I had was no credit/debit card accept. She made it again! They do accept credit card and debit card now. Guess what? I paid in cash just to helped her out a little bit. Yes, I am a poison tongue reviewer, but I am not stone hearted. I see she is trying, so I am trying to be a good customer as well. The food was actually not too bad. It also has improved from the last time I visited here. The fried chicken is better than chain stores, but not as good as the previous owner’s. The side wasn’t very good, but acceptable. I saw many customer walked in and took out, this place seems revived a again. Good job! The only draw back was the service is super slow. I can’t blame her because she is the only one working in this place, she was trying her best to provide the best customer service she could. However, it is still not acceptable for the amount of time waiting for order, pay, food deliver. I mentioned that I walked in this place around 12:52pm, I didn’t get chance to place order till 1:03pm. The food came to my table around 1:24pm. Yes, the food wasn’t bad, but It’s a super long wait and I can’t take it. End up, I am 6mins late to my appointment, and I didn’t finish my side because I have no time to eat. Conclusion. I can see this lady is really trying to make things right and make customers happy, I really can see that. but I can’t give this place a very good score even if I wanted to. I was going to give 2 stars because of the ridiculous super long waiting time, but I am going to give her 3 stars because she fixed many bad moves she made. I will come back again when I have no appointment after, and take my time in this place to enjoy the food.

I came here at the suggestion of an ex-coworker and I am glad I did. LFFC is located on Archibald near 8th St, in Rancho Cucamonga. In addition, the owners are super nice, and I believe they were reading the bible together when I arrived around noon on a Wed. I ordered the 3 piece dark meat w/fries — $ 6.29. The 3 piece also comes with an old skool Shasta soda of your choice. LFFC also offers fish, shrimp and on the side, collard greens, black eyed peas, cole slaw, and and a slew of other sides. The chicken was very good. It was nice and crispy on the outside, and moist on the inside. It could have used more spice in the batter, but I was able to fix that with some hot sauce that was provided: 4 Stars. The fries were good too. It was a good sized portion and they were nice and hot: 4 Stars. The only downside was this dish could have done without the roll. The ambiance is nothing to speak of, but the service was excellent. The owner walked me through the sides and also said that the 3 piece should be plenty of food — She was right!!! The server brought out my soda with a nice big glass full of ice. My food came out quickly and the other owner came to check on me too. He also offered me a taste of the collard greens, but I was too full already: 5 Stars on service. I will definitely be back here to try some of the other items and sides. The chicken is way better than KFC, Pioneer or Popeyes. I just have to watch out or I will become a fata$$!!!
