Had shredded chicken with rice and popcorn chicken with rice. The shredded chicken was pretty good; so much more rice than chicken though. The popcorn chicken had so much flavor! Totally recommend the chicken. Boba drinks are a bit on the pricey side but they are decent.

The molasses milk with grass jelly is good, and the molasses milk tea with pudding is also good. The girl working here is super nice and gives excellent service. The oyster pancake was something that had good flavor with a good sauce, but could be slightly improved upon. Eating it at the restaurant it seemed to be mostly gooey and a bit wet due to the veggies in it. I am just used to the Thai version which is a bit more firm and crunchy and could not help but note the similarities. There is nothing wrong with the Taiwanese version. Now when I brought my leftover pancake home I reheated it by frying it in a spoonful of oil in a non stick. It was even better — I would say perfect. You get the soft tender pockets of the potato batter, the crunchy edges, the earthy briny oysters, balanced with the cleansing effect of the bok choi, mixed with the sauce which taste like the traditional first and true Thai Siracha(and i am not talking about the rooster sauce, fyi the sauce originated in Thailand hence the Thai name… I digress.) So I wish this place would cook their pancake just a little more to enhance the flavors already there. This pancake has greater potential! I would give it 6 stars if served with this modification. I appreciate this restaurant opening in Rancho so I’ll be back!

First visit, I got a good whiff of the stinky tofu and it remind me of the really good Taiwanese cuisine. Ordered beef noodles, bitter melon, stinky tofu and O Ah Jian(Oyster Pancake). Everything was delicious! Second visit, ordered O Ah Jian, more stinky tofu, spicy crispy chicken, tian bu la, and beef noodles. Overall, this restaurant is close to home and I love Taiwanese cuisine. A quick bite to eat and wonderful service. Food and drinks are delicious. If you are adventurous, try the stinky tofu and the O Ah Jian(Oyster Pancake). All wonderful and delicious! ~ HIGHLYRECOMMENDTHISPLACE! ~

Went here and got the popcorn chicken with rice. I also got to try the pork chop. The chicken was flavorful but not very crispy, same with the pork chop. The food is well seasoned, but no where near some other places I have been to. It is good if you have the craving for this style of food but don’t want to drive very far.

Excellent Taiwanese food, tasty, reasonable price, awesome service, and most importantly — only and best Taiwanese in Rancho Cucamonga. Food is as good or better than most Rowland height area Taiwanese restaurant.

If you’re in a pinch for a quick bite or don’t mind eating alone for some Taiwanese food, this place does a decent job. Whether I come to this plaza for East West Bank or grocery shopping at Ranch 99, it gets crowded at Red Chili House and Ranch 99 hot deli isn’t as appetizing. I don’t mind coming here. I came a few times to give this location a shot since it is the sister store of the Mimi 5 Bobee in Diamond Bar. It’s still in the soft opening transition. Majority of the menu are in text. No pictures, but the waitress and manager are willing to help go over the menu. Definitely helpful for the US American side of me. The drink promotion’s a bit confusing. Let me break it down. On one page of drinks, you can pick one beverage, then add a dollar. It will be BOGO of that one drink in an upgraded size.(It has to be the same drink; you can’t pick another one for the«other».) I would say you’ll be satisfied since there aren’t many Taiwanese places in Rancho and can hit the spot. It isn’t up to par to the one Diamond Bar since this store has its own twist on things. The oyster omelet is pretty good. Make sure you eat it when it comes out. The difference here and in Taiwan are the size of the oysters. I think they use lettuce as the vegetable here. They aren’t as stingy with oysters unlike some other Taiwanese joints. It’s fulfills your starchy cravings. I’m not a huge fan of popcorn chicken, but usually Mimi 5 Bobee hits the spot. The last two times, they have been on the saltier side and didn’t have much of the basil. Pretty juicy inside. Only down side is that sometimes, I’d get a couple of pieces that aren’t fully fully cooked. The«stewed beef noodle» is alright. I don’t understand what the hype is about. The meat and tendon are good, but I’m not sure about the broth. It’s on the lighter side.(Doesn’t have that richness like A&J’s in Diamond Bar, Ding’s Garden in Rowland Heights in its OG days or Chef Hung’s in Irvine when it first opened). I feel like my mom’s broth is a bit richer. You can’t go wrong with the minced pork rice. Decently priced for the portion and has that Taiwanese flavor. I was bummed out that their bamboo shoots weren’t braised longer in a sauce for the«flavor.» It tasted like it was steamed and lightly seasoned. Of all the bentos/boxed meal sets, I liked this spicy chicken of $ 9.50 the best. Think of a large chicken«katsu» with red chili/shallot sauce and a huge bed of cabbage. You get a huge bowl of rice and a few mini side dishes. The little corn/potato/carrot medley side dish is good, but on the oily side. It filled me up quickly and end up taking the rest back home.

Food was great and so was the service. I’ll definitely come back. Their beef noodle soup is just as good as other authentic Taiwanese restaurants in SGV/Rowland area. Sorry I almost forgot to leave a tip, I was sidetracked while playing on my phone.

First off, I’m never doubting anything my co-worker suggests ever ever. Not that I doubted her on this place. But this place solidifies her foodie credentials. Oyster omelette was heaven. Pork belly rice dish was remarkable. Their service is great. Not much, actually nothing to complain about. I even had to go back the very next day because I was jealous of my friend’s dish. If you’ve never had Taiwanese food, eat here. If you have, this place is a must.

Very solid Taiwanese restaurant. This is as good as many places in San Gabriel Valley, which makes sense because this restaurant also has locations in SGV. Very good noodle dishes, including the famous beef noodle soup. We always get the stinky tofu here, with or without the sausage.

–Tomato Beef Noodle Soup, half beef half tendon with thin noodles($ 8.50): Holy balls, this is so good! I never thought Rancho would ever have a place that serves this delicious beef noodle soup that I always crave! This soup is sweet and sour goodness. The noodles is perfectly cooked. The beef is so soft and tender, the pieces fall apart! It is soo flavorful. The tendon is also very soft and tender! Suprisingly, the carrots also are a blast of the amazing sweet soup flavor! –Stewed Beef Noodle Soup, half beef half tendon with handmade noodles($ 9.50 since handmade noodles is an extra dollar!): this is just a little spicy, so be aware if you don’t like spicy! This soup is so good though! The flavor is so nice, exactly what i’m looking for in a beef noodle soup. The handmade noodles are yummy! Definitely worth the one dollar haha. I got this to go. They are smart and separate the broth from everything else. –Popcorn Chicken with Rice($ 7.50): the popcorn chicken here is different than other places! It is big pieces of chicken and the chicken is nice and juicy. It is not drenched in breading. It is so good! Mild had a bit of kick, so beware if you cant handle spicy, get no spice! –Pork in Red Grain with Rice($ 7.95): kind of like pork version of popcorn chicken, but it uses a different breading! Not dry at all! Perfect amount of fatty and meat. They are still adding things to the menu, since they are a new restaurant! The manager, Eileen, is very nice and charismatic. She is really friendly and caring with children and babies, so this place is definitely child friendly!

I had just finished dinner at phở ha and my dad had wanted to try out this place since we’ve been to the other location before. There’s a special right now that if you buy one large drink you get another one for free! I had settled on getting a strawberry yogurt drink with cognac jelly for 5 dollars. A little pricy, but I did enjoy it, the aroma was nice and it wasn’t sugar heavy. It was kind of similar to calpico. I’d say give it a try, because I will come back here.

Wow~ Yay~ there is a Mimi in town :) I’m extremely excited to I find out that they opened a new location in Rancho. I am a huge fan of Mimi’s from food to drinks. The owner and waitresses are all super nice. As for now. it’s only their soft opening, and the owner mentioned that he will add special items to this new Rancho location!

So happy there’s finally a real Taiwanese restaurant in this area. Great pork chop rice and beef noodle soup. Same top notch quality as their two other locations.

The girls working the front were super nice. I give a 3-star rating because I wasn’t to impressed with their food. I got the pop corn chicken as always but it tasted so dry. I ordered to go and they didn’t give me any sauce. I’m hoping since they just opened that they were still working out the kinks. I love there other location in Diamond Bar, but these two varied in taste immensely. Will give them another try. Boba continues to still be delicious.

Pretty solid place for Rancho. I’ve been to both of their other locations in Rowland Heights and just based off of their drinks I’d say this is probably my favorite tea place in this area. Haven’t tried a lot of their menu items yet, but dropped by this weekend to grab a quick snack with a friend and it was good. Select drink items are buy one get one free right now, since it’s their soft opening. I tried the honey lemon aloe drink and that was good. Would’ve liked them to filter out some of the lemon seeds though. But i guess it shows that they use actual lemon as opposed to concentrate? The popcorn chicken definitely hit the spot too. They used dark meat which really made the chicken nice and juicy. The seasoning was on par with their other locations and overall very satisfied with this new Taiwanese spot! Great addition to this 99 ranch plaza and I hope they continue to expand their menu so that they offer the same items that their Rowland location offers.
