Went here for dinner on a monday night and they have really good customer service. If you don’t like how your steak/food turned out, they would readily replace it to your preference :)

After ordering, the food arrived to our table VERY quick. I had ordered my steak to be cooked medium. yet when I cut into it, it was raw in the middle. Not just under cooked, but raw and cold in the middle. I sent it back. It came back to me cooked proper but upon trying to eat it was like chewing a pice of wax lips that you get at halloween, yuk. The baked potato was cold as well, so cold that the butter did not even melt that was on top of it. It was a waist of money.

Recently moved to the area and man am I glad I stumbled upon this place. Has a down home atmosphere, good service with some really great food. Stockyard, baked loaded and a skillet of sautéed mushrooms. We’re about to become regulars !

my family and I have been coming to this restaurant for 4 family generations, I am now coming here with my two babies. of course Unilocal did not exist when my family started coming here but I can say, obviously that is how amaze this restaurant is! everything we’ve ever had has kept us coming back. my dad and husband get the«Famous Super Stockyard» steak with a loaded baked potato. I had the chili and we, per usual get the sampler with extra onion rings! and I could literally drink their ranch ;P we’ll never stop coming here. perfect!

Did you say STEAK!?? This is not your high end steak house in, so dont have those high expectations. If you do, you’ll end up rating this place low. I’ve been to RJ Sizzlin Steer and Tonys Spunky steer. They are all fairly similar. Steak on a Sizzlin platter. This place has a old school cowboyish feel to it. Has wood everywhere and rodeo/horse/ranch décor. My fiancée and I decided to stop in and have ourselves some steak. Noticed it was pretty busy. Small parties, big parties… aside from the many people enjoying steak. The service was pretty good. Our waitress was able to get drinks, starters and orders in a timely manner. The steaks took about 15 – 20 minutes to come out. Im ok with waiting, i knew this place was not your«High End». So just be patient. Food: Super Stockyard– Butterfly cut(Cut in half– Long ways and cooked) 1lb(24oz) of goodness. Its a Skirt steak that was really tender and juicy. –Loaded baked potato and Garlic bread RECOMMENDED(Share if you like… i wouldnt) ***$ 17.99… Super Deal, considering all you get, and its good. Ribeye 12oz– Meduim. with Garlic Mashed w/Garlic Bread. This was just ok for me. It did not have as much flavor as the Stockyard. ***$ 17.99 All in all– $ 40 for a hearty steak dinner, and kept some for the following day for lunch. Id recommend this place to anyone who loves steak. Just come in patient and without the expectations of having the servers be at your Beck and Call. YUM

Not a great place for Togo orders. Took way to long, and my steak was over cooked and dry. Update… Gave it one more chance! This time they nailed it! The manager was so nice, let me do a quick order on the phone since they weren’t super busy. And the steak was perfect!

Had dinner last night here for the first time. Really liked the atmosphere the hostesses were very friendly and we had to wait about 10 minutes it was really busy for Friday night My husband ordered the steak dinner for two and shared with my son they loved it the chef cooked it medium rare they got fries and a potato and then you get soup or salad with your meal. The soup came in a really nice size bowl which I thought we were just going to get a cup, my husband had the bean soup and my son had tje clam chowder. Both were delicious. With ordered the sampler appetizer which I put a picture on my review it was also very delicious large quantity years you could definitely share with your kids or with your family. I ordered the stockyard steak medium well it came perfectly cooked I had vegetables and fries and I also have a side salad instead of soup it was fresh, delicious and if you love ranch dressing the ranch here is also very good We’re definitely coming back

I used to like this place a lot until my experience tonight. My salad had some brown pieces in it. No big deal, i thought, I’ll just push those pieces to the side. Then I asked for my steak medium well, and it came out ultra rare and bloody. No big deal, I thought, and sent it back for more cooking. As I was finishing my baked potato, something started tasting funny. I noticed the end of the potato was completely rotten — baked, yet hard and black and stringy. Puke. They didn’t charge us for the meal, and were fairly apologetic about it, but I don’t think I can ever eat there again. Their quality control clearly sucks. I’ve gone from being an ardent supporter of this place to someone whose stomach does flip flops just picturing this restaurant in my head.

Been coming here for the last 23 years and has been consistently good. Service is good and the place is filled on Fridays. Same steaks as the other pricer places

I was pleasantly surprised by this place and I must say it’s not one of my local favorites. I am a big meat fan and I have heard about this place, it was finally time to give it a try. The restaurant it’s self is huge so you probably will never have to wait long to get a seat and parking is ample outside. The service is great as we were greeted immediately, the drinks came out quickly and appetizer as well. I was really impressed by the steaks, we had to sirloin and ribeye, medium rare. The meet was juicy very tender and melted in my mouth. The portion size was good and came with two sides that was enough to fill me up. Our overall experience here was good in the steak; better than I expected. We will definitely be back

Meh. I walked in and the first thing that happens is some old guy looks at me suspiciously and looks me over like someone there to steal his restaurant and says«Can I help you?» His teeth gritted prepared to ask me to leave. Taken completely off guard I said…“uh…I wanted to eat here.” «Oh, I thought you were a salesman» instantly his demeanor changed and I was welcome into his establishment. It just so happens, I am a salesperson, I wasn’t there to sell anything but to be treated like that for my occupation seems wrong. Even if I was there to sell something, we are both business people and professionalism is so important in business. I guess that’s why we have Unilocal. Anyway the food was okay, the waitress seemed new and out of place. But the most important thing is the food. Not a good value, no real quality, just Meh all around. It’s too bad, the location is great, the concept is good, this would be a great place for Kitchen Nightmares!

Wait was a little long for a Monday afternoon. Steak was undercooked. Then chewy. The only reason I give 5 stars is because my waitress Laura c. As it said in my receipt was superrrrr nice and very apologetic about my food even though it was not her fault. I appreciate that over everything. She even discounted my meal even though I ate all of it and told her it was ok. Now that’s service. I will come back only because of how well she handled the matter

First off I maybe I shouldn’t post a review because I really really wanted to like this place. I’ve passed by numerous times and the reviews on Unilocal were mediocre but we decide on Valentine’s Day to give this place a shot. The wait was about 30 minutes not too bad. Upon entering it felt like a Denny’s or a Sizzler, and smelled like old people and it was loud with babies crying. Anyway we waited to be seated and once we sat down we ordered our drinks and the appetizer with the potato skins, fried zucchini and onion rings, that was the highlight of our meal! The wait for our meal was extremely long, and when it arrived, I was so disappointed. The bread was cold, the steak was somewhat similar to carne asada and the baked potato was bland. I will never come back here again. I didn’t have the heart to complain but if you decide to come here and you’ve never been here again, beware!

Came here for my moms birthday… The food was DELISH and the service was very nice… Nothing over the top, just nice! Would definitely come back… My steak was cooked perfectly … Super juicy too! I got the steak and shrimp with chili! In fact, we all enjoyed our meals, including a side order of Sauteed Mushrooms(AhhhMAZING!!!)!!! … And the prices were fair! Singing happy bday to my momma was a nice touch.

This place was a dismal disappointment on a multitude of levels. We arrived here at roughly 6:45pm, party of four, and there’s obviously a wait. They quote us 35 minutes, and after just under 45 minutes of waiting, we were seated. Not long after a young lady(who never introduced herself, although we can see from the receipt is named Katie) came up and asked us what we wanted to drink. 1 water, 1 pepsi, and 2 coors light with cold glasses please. About five minutes later she returns with our beverages, as she’s sitting them down she spilled the pepsi says«oops, sorry about that» and then doesn’t make any effort to clean it up. Dad takes the glasses for the beer from here and goes«um…these aren’t cold.» Not even a little bit; maybe they were waived in front of the freezer but definitely not cold. At least the beers themselves were. About five minutes after that she returns and we ask her about the menu; is this whole page lunch options that are unavailable? The menu should be more cohesive for meals that are only exclusively for certain hours of the day–«anything roast beef is for lunch only, chicken items can be served for dinner.» We order an appetizer and she leaves us for another few minutes and soon returns for our dinner orders. So far things are pacing nicely. About ten minutes later our appetizer arrives; a combination of fried zucchini(very oily), onion rings(very good), and loaded potatoes(good, but nothing special). We dig in, enjoy, and all is well. Then there’s an awkward ten minute lull. My sister’s pepsi is sitting empty, despite that Katie has walked by several times to other tables, and my parents beers have reached the bottom. Finally she brings out the side salads for my families meals. They look pitiful; iceberg lettuce, a mixture of croutons, and some carrot shavings along with their respective dressing. They finish their salads, and it’s now another ten minute wait until my parents meals come out; Mom had the peppered steak, Dad had the chicken and ribs. They order and soon receive their second beers. About four minutes after that my sister and my meal comes out; teriyaki chicken for her, and a crispy chicken salad for me. Disastrous. Dad: Touches his ribs and notices immediately that the bones are ICECOLD. The meat was luke warm at best, depending on the piece he ate. His chicken was«alright.» But all in all, not good. Mom: Nothing bad to say as far as the overall flavor of the food, but also nothing good. Everything was just«average.» Sister: If you’ve read any of my other reviews then you know my sister is a picky eater. But her complaints were all justified. Her vegetables were ice cold as well. Her chicken was cool in some parts, and the whole piece itself was dry. She did like the mushrooms and the garlic bread however. Mine: I had the crispy chicken salad; I didn’t feel like eating«heavy.» This costs $ 10.49 before tax, and is a pitiful representation of a salad. It was all ice berg lettuce, thick and flavorless cheese shreds, two slices of tomato, and a cut up chicken patty with bacon bits. There was absolutely no flavor at all to this, not even with the chipotle ranch dressing. Between the iceberg lettuce and chipotle ranch dressing it was just a soggy, messy, watery plate with huge and awkward chunks of lettuce. I’ve had better if not equivalent salads served to me in an elementary school cafeteria. After we finished eating we sat and waited for any form of attention from any of the workers. While we waited, the couple eating at the table next to us called our waitress Katie over to(no surprise) complain. Apparently they received mushrooms on their meal, and the wife cannot eat mushrooms, so they were trying to figure out the confusion since they certainly would never purposely order something they couldn’t eat. As they explained that the menu didn’t say their chicken had mushrooms, instead of apologizing or explaining things calmly, Katie simply said«yes it did» and busts out a menu to prove herself. Eventually she said sorry, but not after a brief conversation with the patrons. Throughout the course of our meal we were never approached by Katie to ask about how our meal was. She simply approached us at the end and asked if we wanted boxes. She cleared our table, and about five minutes later asks if we want desserts. We decline, and she goes to give us our bill–«oops, wrong bill» and she leaves for a few other minutes to get the right check. A little over $ 90 for a disgraceful dining experience; cold, flavorless food… inattentive workers… messy bathrooms with holes instead of proper locks… At least the lemon water was good, but I don’t think we’ll ever return here.

My last review was a 5 star and I haven’t changed my mind yet. I agree, on the weekends it can take a long time to get seated. We came last night(Tuesday night) and we where seated immediately. My family and I love coming to this place periodically because of their delicious steaks and house salad. The prices are also very reasonable as well. To get the best experience of this place I would either come during the week, or plan on waiting about :40 minutes before being seated on the weekend. Make sure your not starving because the cranky monster will come out!
