Wow! The service was excellent. I had to ask the server to come back to take my main dish order, she came so quickly. So we ordered aps and phở immediately. Spring rolls w/tofu were fresh tasting and good. My friend finished his phở and spring rolls with pork and shrimp and loved it. This was really extraordinary service and atmosphere! After we finished our meal, we stayed and talked for close to 2 hours, and not once did the staff come over, butt in, or ask those annoying questions designed to get you outta there. Excellent food, service, atmosphere and price. Frankly, my friend and I looked like a cupla bums, yet we were still treated with courtesy and respect. So we left over 60% tip. Well deserved.

Food was ok. But the service is awful. Had to wait a very long time for the food. forgot to bring out some of our order. Other customers were served their food before us after we had arrived long before they had arrived. The waiters dont check on you. Waited 30 minutes to pay the check after the check was given to us. Overall the service sucks.

Went for lunch and the Phở Bo was very good, especially healing for my head cold. It was very quiet, only several small tables of people speaking Vietnamese. Service was quick and attentive.

The place is well decorate and very peaceful with the man made water fall. I got the following, bi cuon, Bun Bo hue. The bi cuon was pretty good with good fish sauce mix. As for the bun Bo hue, it needs a lot of work. It has most of the ingredients but it still miss something. The ice coffee is pretty good. That is why I might give them once more try before give my judgment to this place.

I’ve been here twice and the service is really SLOW and the food is only mediocre. However, I do like how it’s bigger than the other phở place in town. First time, we went as family of 4 on an empty Saturday afternoon. Everyone ordered phở and it took a good 20 mins for the food to come out. Second time, I went with a group of 10. I ordered a rice place and it came out 15min after everyone else got served. I started eating when they were finishing up! Overall, I’m not impressed and will avoid.

Place new, clean and spacious. The food were hits and misses. Some were good some were okay. Their Hu Tieu Kho(dry style noodles) is my favorite. The canh chua and ca kho to were okay. Bun rieu wasn’t really good but I like that they gave me a bit of rau muon bao. Don’t waste your money on Banh Beo. Banh khot was good but it’s on the thick side, took awhile to come out too, so make sure to order that first thing if you want it.

There are two other, MUCHBETTER, vietnamese restaurants in Randolph. Saigon Sub is not even a mile away, and is the best Vietnamese food anywhere around Randolph. Phở So 1 is also close by and well worth the trip, even if you live next door to this place. Where do I even start with Hai Lua? How about I walked in and ordered a chicken claypot meal, an order of egg rolls, and chicken phở to go. Service: If that is what you want to call it. I was told 15 minutes, and waited 20. That’s not too bad, except that the order taker did not hear me say chicken phở, so he came without it. I re-ordered it, and was told 5 minutes. He came back 10 minutes later with a to go box in a plastic bag, clearly not anything like phở. I look inside, and there are chicken wings. I AGAIN order chicken phở, which caused both servers to look at me like I had 6 heads(I pronounced it «fah», which is correct). I then start describing that it is like a chicken noodle soup, which neither of them understood. FIVETIMES I CALLEDIT «FAH», ANDFIVETIMESTHEYHADNOCLUEWHAT I WASSAYING! I asked to see a menu, so I could point it out. They bring me one, I point it out, and one of them yells«Ohhhh… chicken phở»!!(also pronouncing it the same exact way I already did 5 times, «fah»)… I was still charged for the chicken wings they brought me, which I did NOT order. I was in no way compensated for their lack of knowledge of their menu, nor for the fact that my other food sat getting cold for 20 minutes while I tried to explain to them their main dish! Food: Until I read above, I thought they burned my rice. It was absolutely disgusting. Rice is not meant to be crunchy, period. The chicken wings, again that I paid for but did not order, had a very foul smell. They tasted ok, no better than ok though, but getting past the smell was tough. My girlfriend’s phở, was nowhere worth the irritation of trying to explain to them what it was. She said the broth was not very good, and it is the first time she ever had phở that had bones in it. The chicken claypot, was decent. The chicken was a little bland, but the vegetables were fresh, crispy, and delicious. The eggrolls were small and did not seem very fresh(though that could have been from the ridiculous wait caused by trying to explain soup to them). Again, I have had MUCH better Vietnamese food, and paid less for it. Do yourself a favor, as I am doing for myself, and DONOTGOHERE! Not even a mile in either direction will bring you a higher quality and better service, from people who UNDERSTANDWHATTHEYARESELLING!!! Sad, because we had passed by this place almost every day for the last couple of months, and had been looking forward to trying it.

Terrible service. Spring rolls were good. After waiting for an hour they said they hadn’t started making our phở. Never coming back.

1. I love asian food… 2. I would return again just for their claypot dish 3. If their service was quicker/better…they would get more stars. 4. And better phở and dessert The staff is slow and not attentive but when we did get to interact with our waiter he was helpful and friendly. The chicken clay pot changed my life… and it may change yours. It’s plentiful with crisp and fresh veggies, perfectly cooked chicken, and rice that’s sizzles when it arrives to your table. The rice around the clay pot get’s crunchy and is super flavorful with this yummy sauce! I would drive miles and miles for this dish… it’s a blessing and a curse that it’s not that far away! As for dessert… My friend ordered the fried ice-cream and it was frighteningly oily. it could’ve drained just a lil longer. I had an avocado-pineapple smoothie that was a little bland for my liking but luckily there is a few more boba spots in the area.

Very clean restaurant with a friendly staff. I ordered the Chicken Soup(Phở Ga) and found it to be one of the better phở soups I have had in recent time since I worked and dined in the Chinatown District of Boston. The broth was silky and well spiced. The veggie accompaniments were fresher and more bountiful than other Phở restaurants in the area. I will be returning as a repeat customer.

First off the goods. The décor is really awesome, looks so new and everything, very pretty. The food however, was really below-average. Like I got tap water, and even that was terrible, I think something was in the cup or maybe the lime was rotten, but my sister and I had to get a coke instead because of how awful the water tasted. My friend had the nem cuon, which was surprisingly SMALL compared to Phở So 1, and it wasn’t even crunchy whatsoever, was like a premade meal that they just saved or w.e. Their phở’s are average, not amazing, but better than places so that I can put Hoisan sauce and it’ll taste good. Something was off with the meat or noodles however, but don’t remember which.

We wanted to like this place since it was in a bigger and newer space than Phở So 1. It was only ok. For starters, we had ordered the cha gio(egg rolls) and nem nuong goi cuon(spring rolls). The cha gio was fairly small and not much for the stuffing. And, it was the same for the goi cuon. Our sinh to(shakes) were not noteworthy. The Thai iced tea was definitely a powder; and, sinh to mit(jack fruit shake) was just ice and jackfruit. For entrees, we got the com ba mau(pork chops with rice), banh xeo(a Viet crêpe) and thi kho(braised pork). The banh xeo came out on a massive plate with lots of veggies. The stuffing for the banh xeo was skimpy, too. The shrimp was really small and still had the shells on. The thit kho was not what we expected; and, it wasn’t anything to write home about. The rice plate was the best entrée in our group. Our experience was just«meh».

A wonderful new restaurant that just opened this past week. We tried the Steamed Shrimp cakes, Vermicelli with Grilled Shrimp and Fried Rice with Chicken and each was very fresh tasting and flavorful. The service was excellent and attentive to our needs and the newly renovated space(quite large) sparkles. Prices were very reasonable and portion sizes quite large. A great addition to the Randoloh area and we’ll be back.
