The food was amazing and fresh. The service was prompt. The restaurant was small but clean, if you’re going during a peak time you may have to wait as there are not many tables.

I’m really picky when it comes to vietnamese food… and this is one of the three places in Randolph(that’s a decent distance from my house) that I can go to. I gave Phở 89 and Phở 98 a chance, but I always end up back here. Today’s visit was exactly what I needed after a shitty day of dealing with retail customers. I came in with my dad and we were quickly seated. The restaurant was busy for a Sunday morning. My dad knew what he wanted right away, and didn’t bother waiting for me to look at the menu… so I asked for a couple more minutes. Viet men, always rushing you. I got a rice place with grilled pork(com thit nuong | $ 8.25). I devoured it, it might’ve been the face that I’ve been craving a rice plate for months. The pork wasn’t fatty, and had a nice glaze on it. It worked well with the rice and egg. My dad got a rice plate too with grilled pork chop, steam ground pork, and shredded pork skin(com 3 mau | $ 8.25). He seemed to enjoy it. I got a avocado smoothie(sinh to bo | $ 3.25), and I wished it was a little sweeter. It was a little bland. The meal wasn’t much for my dad & I’s food, $ 25 for two rice plates & a smoothie.

This is one of my goto places for phở in the area. I know there are several phở places in the area, but this was one of the first phở places in randolph. The service is good and the price is reasonable. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a phở place in the area.

Late night dinner here with hubby was a mistake. Service was non existent and the food was bad. We ordered the Banh Xeo(Vietnamese pancake) and phở dac biet. The Banh Xeo was so greasy we couldn’t even finish it. The meats in the Phở was sparse and the tendon they gave was the size of a block and just not appetizing. There were only a couple of tables but we still had to flag down our waiter for our check and to also pay. They were too busy in the kitchen to pay attention to their customers. The restaurant is located in a plaza so there’s plenty of parking. But with the lack of service and sub par food there’s a better option right around the corner. Will never come back here again

Went to check this place out because I was tired of the viet food in Quincy and I ordered: 1. Goi Cuon Nem — yes! I love how this spring roll has a ton of the crunch wrappers in it. ugh so good. 2. Mi Quang — this is probably the first Viet restaurant I’ve been to that offered this so I wanted to try it out. Sad to say I was actually a bit disappointed. It’s a huge bowl that comes with a ton of thick, yellow noodles, sesame crackers, cha siu, cha lua, some shrimp, and pig feet. So the portion size was great, and the crackers went great with the noodles, but the broth was seriously lacking a lot of flavor. And the noodles were more of a bright, orange instead of the usual yellow which I found a little strange. With that being said, this restaurant has a very extensive menu offering a lot of authentic vietnamese dishes. I wouldn’t mind coming back and trying out some of their other stuff.

went here a month ago and it was really good. The staff are friendly and the portions are big. I will be returning!

This was my favorite Vietnamese place around in Boston area. The Phở’s were really good and I didn’t get that taste in any vietnamese restaurants around. I wish they could be little bit clean, the servers in the restaurant clean with their bare hands and immidietly serve the food without even washing their hands. If they could take care of neatness, it would be great restaurant.

Decided to try this place because of the great reviews. Upon entering the restaurant, was confused because no one was there to greet us. Didn’t know if we should seat ourselves. So walked towards the front of the restaurant and the guy pointed to a booth for us to sit. Was going to sit at the booth he told us to sit at, only to find it was all wet. So we chose another booth. The restaurant was not busy but noticed that there were about 3 tables that weren’t even cleaned up yet. The floor had litter which staff did not pick up, but rather, just walked by it. Ordered the pancake and the dac biet. The pancake was bland and had no taste. It wasn’t fried/cooked all the way as the inside was doughy. It had a lot of oil. The phở soup was not hot enough. It was warm. The meats were ok. The broth was saltier than other phở places. And the tendon they give, is totally gross. It tasted like lard. Ended up not even eating that. All in all, I had a bad experience here and probably won’t come back. I’m not sure why this place got so many good reviews.

Got quail and clay pot; both quite good. The frog does taste like chicken. They were busy but attentive; my wife got the soup but couldn’t finish it; cost very reasonable. Overall quite good.

My first phở in the South Shore. Great experience! The staff was friendly and the food was awesome. I had phở with beef eye of round and meatballs. The broth was so delicious. My partner had the sweet and sour chicken and was happy with it. Beer and bubble tea so we were both very happy. We will definitely be back!

The restaurant is located in a plaza so there is plenty of parking. Great service and we got our food quickly. I got the Bun Bo Hue. The broth could’ve been a little spicier but overall, it was delicious!

Easily one of my favorite phở places in MA. XL phở is pretty impressive — lots of noodles. When I eat phở, I usually get the noodle soup with beef balls, beef slices and tendons. I tried something different this time around and didn’t regret it one bit. I ordered a sweet and salty catfish in a clay pot with rice. The rice really helps buffer the saltiness, yet the sweetness of the sauce can’t be denied. The waiter recommended that fish over salmon and he didn’t disappoint. Their durian shake is good, too.

Came in for lunch a few weeks back. They were super busy and for a while we were ignored. I wouldn’t mind if the food was delayed but the greeting took quite some time and so did the water, the check, anything that had to do with waitstaff coming by. We had some questions on the menu that our server had trouble answering. The staff just seemed super disorganized. There are also big stickers with table numbers that are super tacky. The food was great — fresh, flavorful, everything you’d expect from an authentic Phở spot. The spring rolls /fresh rolls were my favorite part of the meal. I got the Phở Ga and had plenty to take home. Yummy food, crappy service. Would think about coming back if it was at an off time.

The phở here is flavorless. The soup has no oily texture and is dark in color. The noodles taste off it has that powdery taste from the bag. The portions are ok but the well done beef flank always has a greenish yellow shine to it, eww.

Came here with a friend on a Friday for lunch. Didn’t have to wait for a table but there were still a handful of people already dining there. I ended up ordering a traditional viet noodle soup(forgot the name but it was a spicy beef noodle with pig feet, pig blood, and other meat in it). Size was pretty large. We also ordered a viet iced coffee(I never had these before so I can’t compare with other viet places. I think it was strong enough while my friend said it was too bitter!)

Authentic Vietnamese noodle soups. We ordered Bun Bo Hue and Bun Rieu. Both were flavorful and chock full of all the stuff you’d expect, including congealed pig’s blood(which I don’t personally like, but it’s very traditional). I’ve actually found myself craving the Bun Rieu again. Service is quick. They also serve beer and wine. Find myself coming back here all the time.

Simply one of the best Vietnamese Restaurant in the area. It was recommended by a Buisness associate who was born in Vietnam. He dines here weekly. The food is amazing, affordable, and delicious. Fresh ingredients and exotic flavored served in an unassuming strip mall restaurant. Service is a tad slow at lunch time but the wait is worth the inconvenience. Still worthy Of 5 stars in spite of the wait. Just try it !!!

First time here and it was amazing! As a Vietnamese my expectations are high. We ordered a shrimp spring roll with pork, two bowls of phở and the sweet combination pudding drink. All were delicious, hearty and satisfying! But I have to take one star away because they forgot the tripe in one of our bowls, and our ice waters didn’t arrive until I was pretty much done eating. Great local spot though. Seems to get packed even around 3pm. There is tons of parking in the plaza.

Deep rich broth. Plentiful noodles. Crisp veggies. Packed at lunch time — literally might not get a seat. The pork dumpling noodle soup, Mì Hoành Thánh or No. 32($ 7.95) with yellow noodles is dusted in fried scallion and shallots, cilantro and sliced onions. Crisp lettuce lines the bowl filled with luscious chicken broth. Sliced pork loin accompanies the bowl. Smallish wontons are filled with pork in a delicate noodle paper. An order of Tiu Nam Vang, Mì Nam Vang($ 9.95) delivers yellow noodles in pork broth with shrimp, crabmeat, squid and fish cake along with pork liver and sliced pork. The seafood is passable but the broth is deep. The noodles are plentiful and more Ike linguine rice noodles than the heartier yellow noodles served with the dumpling noodle soup sampled on another visit. Pork liver is tender, slightly bitter and metallic. The shrimp are small while the faux crab is plentiful. The spring rolls($ 4.95) present crisped pork and large shrimp slices rolled in delicate rice wrappers with crisp lettuce. A small ramekin of peanut sauce with chopped peanuts floating on top is served with the rolls. Quick service. Go to the counter to pay your bill. One of the better noodle houses around.
