Unfriendly disinterested staff. Just nothing special. Overcooked reheated bacon, undercooked eggs and soggy home fries. Its cheap, so thats good

Not much to say about this place. Staff was friendly, however felt a little cramped for space. Also food was not the tastiest of all the brunch places. Still I think overall okayish experience, nothing to complain or brag about.

I found this place this morning after a quick Unilocal search. We were planning on going to Newcomb Farms, but the line was longer than I have ever seen it so we headed down the road to sunny side. I was with my husband and our two sons(2 years old and 3.5 months) and my parents. There was a short line, but we were quickly seated. The waitress was fabulous, very attentive(even though she was extremely busy), kind, and one of the big reasons why I gave this place 5 stars. Other staff were also great and very nice and considerate. The food was quick and exactly what you would expect from a diner-like place like this. The coffee was very good, which is a must for my parents! Also very kid friendly! We will definitely be back :)

We’ve been going there for quite a while, and we drive all the way there from Braintree. Their home fries are some of the best I’ve ever had. The other offerings are always yummy. The waitstaff are attentive and polite. The prices are totally fair. Love this place and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great breakfast.

Went here for breakfast and food was decent, for the convenience. It’s not wow, but I’ll still come back because it’s down the street. Service isn’t great the 2 recent times I went there. Waitresses didn’t seem too welcoming and looked so serious. Maybe it’s because they had to run around too much, since there were only 2 servicing customers? Went on a weekday both times, so it wasn’t super busy, just a good amount of customers. My 5 yrs old love the chocolate pancake there, so I’ll be returning again. My Benedict was too cooked though. Omelet was overcooked too. That’s why I can only give 3 stars.

Another reviewer stated dry, dry, dry unfortunately I found that statement to be too true. I ordered 2 eggs over medium with steak tips and hash browns while my GF had a cheese and sausage omlette with home fries. My eggs were sunny side up NOT over medium as I ordered, I ordered the steak tips medium well but they were well done and dry as were the home fries. We were served really fast, too fast as it seems like the steak tips and home fries were pre-cooked sitting on the grill drying out. The hash browns were the frozen patty that you get from McDonald’s but they were very greasy like they were deep fried in oil that wasn’t hot enough and were really bad. My GF’S omelet was good but our toast was only half toasted and cold. The service was horrible, we had to chase the waitress down to get the bill then again to pay it which is rediculous as it was 1 pm Friday afternoon and we were the only customers in the place. Needless to say we won’t be going back. Buyer beware…

I really enjoy this place for breakfast. Eggs Benedict are really good. And portions are large. A nice diner type of place for breakfast any day of the week.

We stopped in here for breakfast on our way through town after reading some other Unilocal reviews. Restaurant was clean and bright. It was busy, but we were seated right away. The service was a little slow at the start; we had to ask for menus and tell them we were ready to order. The coffee was hot and the food was very good. The Greek omelet was fabulous, loaded up with Greek sausage, spinach, tomato and feta. The Texas cowboy omelet was tasty also, with steak, peepers, onions and cheese. Substituted the home fries for hash browns, they were hot and crispy. The toast came hot, buttered but crispy. Bathrooms were relatively clean, but the changing table was visibly dirty and desperately needed a cleaning. The staff was friendly and attentive, and kept our coffees filled and hot. Overall, good experience.

New resident of Randolph looking for a good breakfast spot. To me a breakfast spot is all about the food. Décor, location, etc not at all important… So the food: this isn’t complicated food it’s breakfast and how can you mess it up? We ordered and our food was out in under 5 min. The eggs however, had a oily film on them like they were cooked on a greasy/oily grill… barely edible but I was starving. The bacon: hard, dried out with zero life left in it. I would describe the bacon with one word: MURDERED. On to our next breakfast spot.

Decent diner fare, ample parking, friendly service(appropriate, since this building obviously used to be a Friendly’s). Egg salad sandwich was piled high with creamy, delicious egg salad. French Fries are the kind that are so fried, you suspect if there are potatoes at all or just overfried batter. Cape Codder salad was surprisingly fresh, as was the grilled chicken that topped it. No complaints, but no raves either. Adequate eatery with adequately-prepared albeit predictable /reliable menu. No frills.

We go here once a week. Great diner environment. Their prices are very reasonable. I usually get the Hungry Man Special #1. A huge two plate behemoth of a breakfast.

What an adorable little diner located right off of Canton Street this cute little red brick diner has some of the best breakfast food you could possibly want The eggs Benedict with Canadian bacon and hash browns was a huge hit in my book. My husband had the hungry man number one more food than anyone could possibly ask for one of his favorite parts was the pancakes he said they were one of the most fluffy pancakes he’s ever had. We each had juice. And the bill was a total of $ 22 what a great way to start the day. This family owned diner has no-frills but that’s okay they make up for it in the food quality and quantity

I’ve been here a few times and most of the time on the weekends, which is their busiest, especially in the morning. The longest I’ve ever waited for around 15 minutes and is only because it was Father’s Day. Once the place gets busy, the service is slow and the café becomes a bit chaotic and clusters with both customers and servers going around. During the weekdays you can expect to get your food in less than 10 minutes, but on the weekends, expect 20+ minutes. The food itself, I have to disagree with most reviews because I thought the breakfast was good. I love their home fries and hash browns. The hash brown is the way I liked it. I once ordered a veggie omelette and it was huge, especially since it came with home fries and toast as well. I couldn’t finish it. My bf once ordered steak tips with his breakfast and he liked it a lot. There was decent flavors to it and it was tender enough to chew. You don’t even need A1 sauce or ketchup for it. I would have to say that their breakfast meals is A LOT better than I Hops which I would not go to anymore. I have to take off one star because of the wait time for both a table and for food. The overall restaurant was clean but last time we sat at the counter it was kind of dirty. Other than that, everything else was good especially the price, which I thought was reasonably price although it could be bit lower. I would go back to eat here if I ever in the mood for some breakfast dish.

Nice little diner. Food is great. Love the breakfast skillets. Good for two meals! Service needs work and prices could be lower. No lunch menu on Sundays!

We stopped in one Sunday morning as a party of 6 for breakfast/brunch before heading to Logan airport. It’s not my usual breakfast place, but I figured I would at least give it a try. Cluster-you-know-what doesn’t even begin to describe the place when we walked in. Fortunately, my in-laws already had a table there so we made our way to the table. However, there was no real seating pattern or any type of directions for the poor patrons left standing like deer in the headlights. I ordered the french toast with cinnamon and it was just okay. Honestly, the french toast slices were about the size of a regular piece of sandwich bread and certainly nothing memorable. Others in our party had eggs and benedicts that were just okay. The service left a lot to be desired. The place was crazy and the servers were getting a workout. The food was overall okay and I think that perhaps if it wasn’t so busy, it would be better. I am willing to give them one more chance before sticking to my normal breakfast place in Randolph.

Decided to give it a try for lunch. I ordered a chicken salad club. When I asked what they put in their chicken salad — the server’s newness showed when she couldn’t answer confidently. But, she was nice about it, admitting she should know. I said if it was basic with mayo and celery then I’d take it. I got a chicken salad sandwich(not club) and it was basic. Basically tasteless — slightly sour? weird — even salt didn’t help. But at least she saved me $ 2 by giving me the sandwich … While eating I observed another server(later to find out it was the owner’s sister) responding to a customer’s question about her bill. It was only then that the guest was told that she couldn’t substitute pancakes for toast and was therefore charged ala cart. I think I would have preferred to be told that when ordering — no? My server asked if I wanted a refill.. I said yes. She must have gotten so wrapped up in her conversation about the last guest’s question about the pancake … cause I still waiting and I’m thirsty. As a server I’ll confess that I not on my best game when it’s slow… I’m better when it’s a 3 ring circus. So I’m giving all 3 stars to Jodi for her service. Unfortunately I’m not impressed and won’t be back.
