Not a frequent shopper at Ben Franklin(locals rarely refer to it as Ace), but handy to be able to pop in if you need something simple without having to go to Lowe’s or Home Depot. We used to buy our Benjamin Moore paint there, but they phased the entire product line out earlier this year in favor of this new Clark + Kensington paint. No idea how it compares. But the paint people have always been helpful when we have had paint mixed. Have to say how pleased I am that they have stopped selling small pets. At least I didn’t hear birds chirping and the crafts department has been expanded to now occupy the back corner of the store where they used to be found. They just had too many birds in each cubicle and food and water were always a horrid mess. Thank you to the management for that decision. There’s a bigger giftware section now and even clothes. Can’t say I’ve looked much at either. But did buy a new wild bird feeder on my last visit. An out-of-town friend recently found some decent, stylish, safety glasses there after looking at several other places. They were such a good price he bought two pair!
