Had dinner last eve with a friend, first time for us both at B2. Service was as good as it gets — personable, helpful, friendly and just the right touch by Marissa who we would want to ask for next time! A glass of wine is served in a healthy portion(just like at home). From appetizers(had the Octopus) to the entrée(Filet and The Pig) –delicious, wonderful presentation and more food than it initially appeared. Flourless chocolate cake was scrumptious but the chef’s hand made dollop of coffee ice cream was over the top! The atmosphere and ambiance is casual chic, inviting and a place I can’t wait to revisit!

Our waiter brian was so so rude! As soon as we got to our table he was rushing us. It was the worst service.

My family and I came here on Fathers Day for brunch from the great reviews we read. We did arrive on the later end of Brunch however they were able to sit us in the dining area with no issues. Our main issue was with the service at B2 on this day. When we arrived our drink order was promptly taken, but after this it went down hill. First It took serval attempts to get our server’s attention to request some hot water so that I can heat up my daughters bottle. After letting the hostess know hat we were ready to order it still took our server several minutes to come take the order. The server while polite did not ask if we have eaten there before or taken the time to go over any menu items. We also requested that my son’s meal come out right away and we had to ask twice where was his meal as it is easier to feed him first so that we can enjoy our meal with no issues. We always request this everywhere we go and it’s never an issue. Next it seemed our server was not completely familiar with the menu. As one of our guests ordered an item from the specials but it wasn’t until the food came out that we found that was last nights specials and there are no specials for Brunch. The server first proceeded to state it was the same meal and correct. Another guest didn’t get his entrée at all, this might be because one of the items he ordered was no longer available. Last, after ordering all the meals took roughly an hour to come out. This felt like a long time especially since the restaurant was no longer busy. I would like the end that the management did what they could improve our experience there but after waiting an hour for all our meals we were disappointed. We just expected more after reading such wonderful reviews.

B2 is really a great place. The multiple times I’ve come I’ve always been very interested in their choices for the menu, they always come up with something playful yet inviting. The staff there is incredibly sweet, and you always leave full and satisfied. They also have a beautiful bar with an incredible wine list and the restaurant itself is incredibly gorgeous. When we first started coming they had a boar ragu that was to die for, and our most recent favorite(which i believe was a special that night) was a whole roasted fish over a bed of avocado, fresh cherry tomatoes and pea sprouts. Wow! It turned heads. The desserts are always delicious too and trendy and playful. We once had a deconstructed lemon meringue tart, and another time a fireless smore which came in a glass jar filled with smoke. Yum.

Awesome beer/wine/bourbon bar selection. The food is always interesting and delicious. Michael, the bartender, will take care of you and make sure you have everything you need to have a great experience. I’m here at least once a month. Best place in Red Bank.

Great local spot! Great rotating craft beer selection, including local brews. Excellent, seasonally changing lunch/dinner menu. Mike, the bartender, is excellent! He knew me by name the 2nd or 3rd time I came in, always knows what I’ll like, and is always there for a witty conversation. Would recommend for everyone!

What can I say? This is one of the best bars in Monmouth county. Beer selection is on point and worthy of a visit from any craft geek. The bartenders are the best, specially that handsome devil, Michael. Michelle and Marissa are great too, no doubt about it. Their mixed drinks are orgasms in a glass and will make your taste buds dance the forbidden dance, the Lambada. Roasted chicken is fantastic and introduced me to succotash. So if you ever hit up the bar, ask for Michael and tell him Mario sent you. He won’t disappoint, neither will B2.

Pretty good however a little too trendy for me. Make sure to sit on the bar area. the other room looks as if your in Siberia. The burger is expensive however good. There is a great beer menu. Service was excellent though … City vibe in Red Bank.

B2 Bistro where have you been all my Monmouth County life? I have been clamoring for a place like this since I moved here years ago — and my only regret is not dining here sooner. Great vibe — exposed brick, open-ish kitchen, away from Broad Street — check check and check for me. Started with a great bottle of white wine — fantastic, reasonably priced wine list. The bread they bring to the table is baked fresh in house, butter made fresh in house and picked tomatoes made fresh in house — check check and check. I have to take a moment to give our server Jadis(forgive the spelling) MUCH props — super cool young girl who knows her sh*t — knows her wine, def knows her food and is not annoying about either. Gave her honest reco about many of the menu items and was one of the most enjoyable servers we’ve ever had at a restaurant — B2 is lucky to have her. The menu is non traditional in both its layout and selections and will prob freak out your Melting Pot and Applebee’s crowd — my answer to those folks — enjoy your fondue and stay the hell away from this foodie mecca. We started with a dozen mixed east coast and west coast oysters. This was the ONLY part of the dining experience that fell flat — the oysters tasted like nothing — in no way, shape or form can they command $ 4 an oyster — those are NYC oyster prices and no where near the quality. But here is where I was truly blown away — didn’t make a huge deal but mentioned this to our sever. The GM/owner Andrew not only took off a good part of the oysters from the bill, but at the conclusion of the meal sent us over 2 glasses of the most delicious white port from Portugal I have ever had in my life. Enter course #2 — charcuterie board — everything made in house — pecan smoked trout rillette was SO insanely delicious and awesome cheese selection. Onto the main course that we split — slow cooked pig in beer and honey served with broccoli and almonds — INSANE — my wife and I both agreed that the only thing just as amazing as the pig was the side of roasted sunchokes that we ordered to also share. I simply am at a loss for words as to how friggin awesome this place was. As someone who is not easily wowed — the joke is on me for not trying this place sooner. B2 will permanently be in the top 3 dinner rotation when we are sans children for the evening. For anyone living within 30 miles of Red Bank do yourself a favor and RUN to this place and enjoy.

This bistro is very cool, nice architecture and design. Smart-looking bar and hip restaurant. There’s a bar area which you can also eat at high tables, or through the archway a sit-down area. Pizza is a must! Especially the pulled-pork pizza. In addition to quality fresh food, they have a good selection of drinks and cocktails. Perfect for a date! Enjoy.

Had dinner there last night for the first time. Can’t say enough about this place. We did a Tapas-esque thing with the Oysters, Filet, Ceviche, and the Mangalica. Completely blown away by the food. The attention to detail was amazing. My wife and I couldn’t decide what we liked best but the Ceviche may be the best thing I’ve ever eaten. Our Server, Vivian, was pure gold. Our new favorite place.

Wow this place has an amazing bar full of local brews on tap along with great options for the person that prefers a cocktail. This place is fun to watch a game at during the seasons but if you are coming for dinner make sure you make a reservation if its a weekend to ensure you’ll have a table because this place can get very busy! When I came here we had a reservation and still waited 30 minutes so we decided to go to the bar and grab a drink, which can be a little difficult at times but manageable. Once we were seated the service was very quick and the waitress was able to answer all of our questions about the menu. I decided to go with the slow cooked pig and knowing this was a small plate restaurant I was surprised by the amount of food I still got! The meat was tender and moist, it couldn’t have been cooked any better than it was, so please if you are as much of a fan of pork as I am, please by all means try this dish and I’m sure you’ll be satisfied! Overall, this establishment has the atmosphere of a beautiful romantic evening yet a fun hangout for a night on the town with friends!

It is no easy task to standout out in the flourishing Red Bank restaurant scene with seemingly a new chic/boutique eatery opening weekly… BUT, that is exactly what restauranteurs Andrew Rasizer and Chez DeChellis have done when they opened the doors and introduced us to B2! Chef Chez manages the back of the house pumping out risqué culinary creations on an ever changing menu that just flat out WORK! From the complex to the seemingly simple, each masterpiece dish is fresh /hand made daily and is guaranteed to have you scraping the enamel off your plates in an effort to collect every last tasty morsel. Andrew, masterfully orchestrates operations in the dining/bar area ensuring his waitstaff and skilled bartenders deliver a five star experience for all of B2 guests. Unlike so many bar/restaurants who completely neglect their cocktail program serving average/mundane drinks at best; B2 placed the same amount of attention /detail in developing a one of a kind cocktail experience that perfectly compliments their award winning dishes hat come out of the kitchen. I HIGHLYRECOMMEND ordering the«PUREHOSPITALITY» featuring the 34x distilled PURITY Vodka which might very well be the greatest cocktail that has ever touched these lips! If you have not already visited B2– What are you waiting for?!? They have already won a myriad of accolades for their taste/quality and have been recognized as one of NJ’s hottest new restaurants… GOOOO!

I came here for the first time last night with my family for my birthday. It was recommended by the Chef of the Molly Pitcher as he had went to culinary school with him. What a wonderful gem in Red Bank! The food was amazing, very creative presentation and the taste also mirrored. The décor was a rustic exposed brick with restored wood table accents. As a designer I appreciated the flow and how open it was to the kitchen where you could watch the process. We all ordered the burgers and many appetizers to share. The drinks on tap were fresh and my mom says it was the best margarita she’s ever had. Dessert is a must and the coffee was amazing. I can’t say enough. Venture out to the other side of the Red Bank tracks, it’s worth it.

Red Bank has some great restaurants, so sometimes it can be hard to break away from those and try something new. Compared to other places, this place is between 3.5−4 stars but I rounded up giving them the benefit of being new and getting thru some growing pains. This place is close to the main area of town but kind of more of some sketchier streets. Ample parking on the side and the place stands out. The décor is great– very NYC. The bar is also very well stocked and has some unique drinks. They make their own ginger beer but it was fermenting when I went I didn’t get to try any. Service at the bar was great. When we got to the table, the service defiantly declined. Our service was slow, and not attentive at all by our server. We ran out of drinks and had to wave down a server just to get some wine– that’s not how it should be. This was during peak dinner time, but it was on a Monday and the place was not packed. We did have who I assume is one of the managers come around and she was excellent– I wish I had caught her name. She gave us great advice on what to order and was very articulate with menu items– I wish she was our server! The food over all was good but nothing was a standout. The polenta was good and worth ordering. The cheese plate was also good. Gelato was okay– nothing too exciting. Watermelon salad was light and tasty. The breads were all excellent. Overall, a pretty good place for a date or night out.

This is just what Red Bank needed! A Brooklyn style eatery with amazing cocktails, legit beer selection & properly seasoned/cooked food that you won’t see in the area. This place is what I had hopes that a certain«ale house» would be when it opened. Unfortunately at said«ale house,» there’s 15 – 20 draft beers and sadly, ¾ of their taps are devoted to MilllerCoorsBud brands. At B2, the most common draft beer on tap is Brooklyn Lager! The draft selection was expansive, featuring local beer & a great selection of micro-brews, as well as less common beers. Their cocktails are also on point. Finally, a place that makes sours with real egg whites! For some reason, every restaurant in Monmouth has an aversion towards making sours the right way; not B2. Their whiskey sour had that perfect frothy top you’ll only get from egg whites, not sour mix. The canton margarita was a perfect balance of casamigos tequila & domaine de canton. And the Moscow mule… the homemade ginger beer is incredible! Lastly, you know what this place doesn’t need to do? Expand it’s menu like the first reviewer wrote! Maybe then can add some fried calamari. Ha. What we’ve sampled of the menu has been great so far. I look forward to getting back soon and trying more of their menu!

What a hidden gem! My friend brought me here yesterday for that start of our own cocktail crawl around Red Bank. She has been a couple times since it’s opening. The atmosphere is so incredibly comfortable and chic. We sat at the far end of the bar closest to the windows, as those chairs had backs to them. The bartender greeted us promptly and he was extremely friendly! We selected two cocktails off the cocktail menu and ordered a plate of cheese to share. The jam on the cheese board was very delicious. Both our drinks were delicious too! It looked like there was ample street parking and a lot across the street. I will have to return and try the food and update this eview.
