I was in there a few weeks ago loved it. I am from Chinatown SF so I was real surprised to get good Chinese in Red Bluff. I will be back soon!!!

Usually very pleased with the great food here. Lately the quality of our orders has been not exceptional. The past few times we have purchased food here it has gone downhill in quality. Hopefully we will notice the great quality we love in our next visits.

Have been to several Chinese food places in Redding and red bluff, I say this place is the best I had the house chow mien and orange chicken! Was excellent and service was great!

In my view one of the best Chinese restaurants north of Sacramento. I am particularly fond of the hot and sour soup on days when I’m not feeling well. This is one of my go-to dishes and hasn’t disappointed yet. I haven’t felt well for the last couple days and had hot and sour soup for lunch. Never disappointing, they serve enough that there’s always leftovers.

The food was mediocre and the service was poor. The waitress acted like it was inconvenient to assist us.

Always fast friendly service, never have I had a bad meal there. My favorite is the sweet-and-sour chicken lunch special it comes with the sweet-and-sour chicken fried rice and chow mein plus a stuffed won ton. If time is tight you can even call your order in ahead of time and it’ll be ready for you by the time you get there.

So far the best Chinese food we have found in Red Bluff. Not much for ambiance though — the place is located in an old Taco Bell building and the décor is tacky and outdated. My biggest complaint is the odor of incense that hits you at the door. That being said, the food is excellent. Large portions, excellent service. Overall a great choice!

I love to eat at China Doll. The service is very friendly and the food is very good and fresh. I usually order the Singapore Rice Noodles. This is a favorite of mine and they make it better than any were else around here. They also have very good Pot Stickers. There prices are good too.

Gross and unsanitary… and that was just the dining room. We came in because we had never been here since it opened. The door was extremely dirty, like it hadn’t been washed in a few days. Walking in it smelled like cooking meat and burning oil. Three of the tables still had plastic utensils, take-outs boxes and bits of food still on them. It was only 4 in the afternoon, so fairly quiet. My friend ordered sweet and sour pork with chow mein and I ordered sweet and sour chicken with rice. We made an attempt to find a table to sit at, but most of the other tables were still covered in sticky sauce, food, and a child’s diaper at one booth. We decided to take our food home. I give them two stars for cheap prices and fast service But the real nightmare started when we got home. One bite into my chicken, I realized my chicken was completely raw on the inside. After cutting into my other pieces, all raw.(At least we know why the service was so fast.) My rice was good. My friend, worried about her food being raw also, cut into hers. She had five pieces in her dish, two contained meat, and the other 3 were just large pieces of batter that were fried.(no wonder its cheap.) We immediately went back to demand a refund, the lady said that she didn’t remember us and that we were trying to rip her off. I produced the receipt, but still no refund. If I could give negative stars, I would. I left one star for cheap prices and fast service, i just wish they would give a customer what they pay for and not give them sweet and sour salmonella.

Visited the area. Above average food. A step or two above Chinese«fast food» Buttery Rice, flavorful meats etc. Portions are rather large even for take out order. Very friendly staff. Yes… Go!

Stopped by for lunch while heading home from Klamath Falls and Tulelake. This place looks like it used to be a Taco Bell. Oh well. I was hungry and wanted something quick. I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken for about $ 7. It came with a small bowl of egg drop and celery soup, a fried won ton, fried rice, fried noodles and the chicken. By the time I returned from using the restroom which is located outside in the back, my food was ready. Food was pretty good. Won tons had a strong ginger taste which was good. Chicken wasn’t too spicy but they had chili oil on the table.

While I was visiting my sister here a few days ago I mention I was dying for Chinese food. She dragged me to this little place with the ordinary placements of booths and tables. It’s a quiet place at times with a low light fixture as to highlight the delicious smells coming from the kitchen and not over load your sense with glaring lights. Of course I had to try the Broccoli and beef dish. The first bite proved to be devastating to my taste buds. Normally you either get the broccoli over cooked or under cooked. But here you get the plate just right. I SNEAK A BITEOFMYSON’S KUNGPOAPLATE. i ALMOSTATEHALFTHEPLATEITWASTHATNICELYDONE. The food is prepared quickly enough and the service is excellent. I wish I could have taking a month’s worth of chinese food home from here and freeze it. It rough going over a hunderd miles for excellent food.

Smells good. Looks pretty good for restaurant that used to be a taco bell. Decorated nice. Food was exceptionally fresh and delicious. I left out of the restaurant satisfied and full, almost busting at the seems. And had plenty of food to take home to the kids. If your in the area and want Chines, then so far this one has them beat. I had the Teriyaki chicken, and my husband had the kung poa chicken, we also had a plate of the Black Pepper Chicken, which both of us loved. The price was good and the service was great and friendly. Will definitely eat here again.

I’m not going to get into whether it’s authentic, west coast, east coast, blah blah. This place has the best Chinese food in town. The food is tasty, the portions are big, the prices are reasonable, and the service is very good and fast.

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in town. The servers are always friendly and always make sure you have what you need. I have tried several dishes here and have always been satisfied. I would definitely recommend the coconut shrimp and the china doll fried rice. Though they do not have the lowest prices on their food as some of the other local Chinese restaurants they are fairly priced for the quality of food. They are generous with their portion sizes and you never have to wait long for your food. If you are ever in town and want Chinese I recommend you try this place out.
